Merlot on the Water is a beautiful venue with an even more beautiful property. We had only 75 guests, which limited our options for a Saturday night reception. Merlot doesn't ask for a specific guest count, just a $$ minimum.
Food is great, Victoria is very helpful and responds in a timely manner. Venue has a bridal suite and a separate room for groomsman to get ready.

My husband and I got married at Merlot on the Water this spring and the venue was just perfect! Victoria was so helpful and communicative the entire time, and was honestly a pleasure to work with. The venue itself is gorgeous and places to take photos are plentiful. Our guests raved about the food for days after and they were right — the food was really top notch! The staff themselves were also very kind and did a great job with everything. I’m so glad that we lucked into celebrating our big day at this venue!

Merlot on the water was the absolute best decision that we made when planning our wedding. We knew we wanted a bit of a smaller wedding (netted out at 74) and other venues we looked at barely wanted to give us the time with our size, were fairly rude or had crazy expensive minimums. I happened to find Merlot on the Water online, so we went to take a look. Right away we knew this was the place for us. It is truly a hidden gem - we amazingly beautiful grounds, lots of character and Victoria is a selling feature in itself. We ended up deciding on the venue the day we looked. Victoria was wonderful throughout the process - she clearly knows what she is doing, runs a tight ship and is cool calm and collected at all times.

The day of our wedding, everything went absolutely perfect. From the weather, the way the staff set up our decor, the appetizers, food to even the take down - couldn't have been any smoother. Our guests raved the entire night about the food and we are still getting lots of feedback on how wonderful the venue and staff were. I also feel that MOTW was a great value for the price. Everything was truly wonderful.

We checked out dozens of venues before we stumbled across Merlot. What sold us on Merlot were the following:
-Only hosts one event a day so there’s nobody get else getting married across the hall.
-The gorgeous scenery, as well as beautiful interior.
-The easy to understand, and absolutely fair contract
-Victoria, the owner who is incredibly attentive and kind. We liked her right away when we met her.
-No hidden fee’s!! Everything is included in the price per person, except tax

Our wedding day was a 10/10. So many people asked us how we found Merlot, and two guests said they were going to inquire about possibly setting up their own weddings with Merlot. Everyone raved about the appetizers and food. The chef even came out and asked everyone how they enjoyed it. Like clockwork all of the staff would come around and ask my husband or I if we needed something. Wonderful experience!

We loved our venue for our wedding here, the staff was amazing, location was great, food was even better! It couldn't have been better!

Merlot on the water was such an amazing venue to get married at ! Victoria helped us each step of the way , and my wedding an absolute success. Our wedding was during this pandemic & our venue made sure all precautions were taken. The food is amazing , the atmosphere is quaint , and the views are breathtaking! Victoria was the WEDDING BOSS!! Like a BOSS she was able to keep everything organized and move smoothly! The staff was wonderful and we had a great day thanks to the WEDDING BOSS!

I met with Victoria not long after I got engaged. I already review all the venue had to offer and went in to take a tour and it was beautiful and just what we were looking for. Our wedding isn't until October 2002, but if you have the chance to tour this facility, please do. I guarantee that you will not be disappointed.
