My husband and I knew from the beginning that we wanted to hire a wedding planner to make the process smoother since we both worked full time, live in Virginia and were planning a wedding in New Jersey. Eileen was our first of 5 planner interviews and we loved how reassuring she was and her maternal nature. She felt like the most natural choice and I am so glad we hired her. She was very easy to communicate with and very responsive. She did a great job of explaining all that she is able to do with full planning and what we would be responsible for and breaking up tasks into manageable chunks so we didn't get overwhelmed. She helped me a lot with some family drama (inevitable to come up when planning a wedding) and supported the steps necessary to ensure we got the outcome we wanted. From the very first meeting, we knew Eileen was the planner for us.

She helped us meet with and vet multiple caterers, and her insight helped us choose the exact right one for us. We had some unconventional needs related to timing and setup, and Eileen made it all work. Her day-of coordination was essential, too, and our ceremony went better than we ever imagined.

She explained all the ramifications of decisions we needed to make so that we could feel well-informed to make them. She helped us feel confident and well-prepared for each phase of the wedding, and, most importantly, she helped our guests feel as treasured and special as they are to us.

Eileen was absolutely instrumental to making not only our wedding day, but the entire planning process, absolutely perfect. Whenever we had a question, she would respond immediately and put any stress or worries to rest. On the day of, she made sure the entire flow of our wedding went smoothly, and put out fires constantly, including miraculously removing a sauce stain from my wedding dress! Eileen is nothing short of a miracle worker and is easily the best decision we made for our wedding (aside from saying I do!).

We had less than five months to plan the wedding. From our first meeting with Eileen, we had confidence that she was the person who could bring it all together. With her experience, her knowledge, her attention to detail and her heart, we were able to experience the planning and the wedding itself with joy and with as little stress as possible.

My husband and I were referred to Eileen (An Affair to Remember) through our catering team who promised us that we'd be in great hands with her. After having spoken with several other planning teams that had rigid packages or weren't able to disclose costs in a transparent way, we met with Eileen. We immediately felt comforted! Starting from our first call, she was organized, clearly a seasoned professional, and was kind enough to work with us to come up with a planning package that fit our needs (we had already booked several main vendors, but still had some planning to do and needed day-of coordination). Her pricing was very fair. She was everything you want in a planner/coordinator - quick to reply over email, quick to hop on the phone to coordinate with other vendors and resolve issues, kind and gentle with us when felt anxious or when we were behind with tasks. We were planning a wedding in NYC and we live in California, and she was willing to meet at later hours (so generous) to adjust for the time change. On the day of the wedding, we felt so at-ease. Her team did an outstanding job. She kept calm with anxious family members, somehow lugged around a large tote bag of my personal items from hotel to church to reception, helped us navigate wedding transport in mid-town manhattan (!!! not to mention with our church ceremony running longer than expected), and magically appeared everywhere right when we needed her, including a quick dress change (and neatly packaged my personal things as I ran out to do my first dance). I'm forever grateful to Eileen for helping pull together the best day of our lives. Eileen was really helpful and professional. She helped us stay organized and put out more fires than Im sure I realize!
