Welcome to A Guilded Wedding, owned and operated by Brina Guild Baron, a certified wedding planner.
I bring a realistic take on the wedding execution process. It's common for prospective clients to feel that they do not need a planner; the internet can give you a checklist, and Instagram gives you eye-catching inspiration. Nearly all clients I work with tell me they wish they found me sooner. The critical choices you make early on in the process are what make or break your budget. While I bring almost 15 years of experience executing seamless wedding days and drafting stellar day-of timelines, the real benefit is having me in your corner before you make significant decisions. There is no other vendor whose sole concern is protecting your money, time, and sanity.
I offer hourly consults for newly engaged couples so that you can try a planner on for size. Clients can book me on a month-to-month retainer, with or without day-of coordination. Wherever you need support, I am there. It is no secret that there is a lull in the planning process for months at a time. You build your package with me. This keeps you on track yet budget-conscious. If you book for day-of coordination and want to add a planning meeting later, you can! My goal is to make you feel like your bestie, helping you plan the biggest celebration you'll ever host, no matter where you are in the process. After we meet, you will instantly feel calmer, more organized, and excited about your big day.
My past career producing live theater in New York City translated perfectly into wedding planning. Creating a wedding is strikingly similar to producing a musical. Each has stars, a set, costumes, music, props, and prominent personalities. I credit my theater background for giving me a cutting-edge in the event planning space. Clients praise my creativity, knowledge, and professionalism. While working at Lincoln Center, I enrolled in a training course with The American Academy of Wedding Professionals to become a certified wedding planner in 2011.

Brina is knowledgeable, organized, and responded to all of our questions during the months of planning. She is the ultimate professional and has a passion for what she does.
Her organizational skills are phenomenal. Brina made sure the brides and the entire wedding party were well taken care of.
We had an early ceremony and brunch reception. Brina provided excellent service by arranging a great schedule for hair and make-up. She arranged to have carafes of coffee delivered at the crack of dawn to the bridal party, so they could be awake and ready for the morning ceremony.
Brina was meticulous about all of the details and a delight to work with. During the ceremony and reception, Brina took care of everything, kept us calm, and on schedule.
I want to thank Brina for going above and beyond. I knew the wedding would be wonderful, but it surpassed my greatest expectations, thanks to Brina. I relaxed and was able to focus on the joy of such a momentous day. It was perfect!
