Welcome to A Guilded Wedding, owned and operated by Brina Guild Baron, a certified wedding planner.
I bring a realistic take on the wedding planning process. It's common for newly engaged couples to feel that they don't need a planner; websites can give you a checklists and Instagram gives you inspiration. Nearly all clients I work with tell me they wish they found me sooner. The critical choices that you make early in the process are what make or break your budget. While I bring 16 years of experience executing seamless weddings and drafting stellar day-of timelines, the real benefit is having me in your corner before you make significant decisions. There is no other vendor whose sole concern is protecting your money, time, and sanity. I sell nothing but peace of mind.
You can start small with an hourly consult, try me on for size and answer some big questions. Clients can book me on a month-to-month retainer, or just for day-of coordination. Wherever you need support, I am there. It is no secret that there are long lulls in the in the planning process, so build a package with me that works for your budget. I keep you on track, budget-conscious and organized. If you book for day-of coordination and want to add month of support later on, you can! My goal is to make you feel like we're old friends, I'm helping you plan the biggest celebration you'll ever host. No matter where you are in the process, I can jump in. After we meet, you will instantly feel clear headed and excited about your big day.
My past career producing live theater in New York City translated perfectly into wedding planning. Creating a wedding is strikingly similar to producing theater. Each has stars, a set, costumes, music, props, and big personalities. I credit my theater background for giving me a cutting-edge in the event planning space. Clients praise my creativity, knowledge, and ability to handle mother in laws. While working at Lincoln Center, I enrolled in a training course with The American Academy of Wedding Professionals to become a certified wedding planner in 2011, so I have practical experience and textbook knowledge, the best of both worlds!

She wrangles late parties, helps arrange faux florals, climbs ladders, fixes hair extensions, creates/manages timelines, answers all questions, and thoroughly manages any anxieties/issues as they arise (which, during wedding planning, is often). She is worth every single penny and then some.
