From the moment I met Cristina over zoom for an initial interview/consultation, I knew she was the coordinator for us. While we did a lot of the primary planning and hiring of vendors, Cristina came in about 3 months out and began to take over the reins. As a fellow Type-A person, what really sold me on Cristina and Carismas Design was her promise of an exceptionally detailed timeline. When I tell you it was down the minute!!! It made my brain so happy to see every detail laid out. She was so professional, offered advice and answered questions, helped me plan our wedding from ACROSS THE COUNTRY, and provided exactly the kind of service we needed. She and her assistant are also exceptionally kind. Cristina really took the time to get to know me and my husband before our wedding, which made it feel like she was a trusted friend on the day. OMG. I am still over the moon about the wedding Cristina planned for us!! I was in such a panic having to plan my wedding from Florida without one trip back to The Jersey Shore and Cristina was my savior!! Not only was her price a terrific value, she was incredible professional, thorough and kept all of us in line throughout the stages of planning - I wanted to be heavily involved but didn't know what it would take to build out a venue of our own - and Cristina was on top of everything!!! I didn't get to make it back to meet her until the day of but she made my day/evening so magical even during thunderstorms!! I am beyond grateful and wish we could plan more wedding together!!! She helped me navigate my family dynamics and was always available when I needed her. She worked with all the vendors and ensured set up went so smooth. I love her!!

Cristina is the absolute best there is. While every aspect of our wedding was perfect in our eyes, the one thing I can’t stop talking about is how EASY our day was. Cristina made sure that my dress was perfectly steamed, that all of my details were gathered and ready for the photographer, and that everything was running according to schedule. She was a huge help in facilitating our first look, and making sure everyone was where they needed to be for photos and our reception entrances. She was also the biggest advocate for me, and everything I wanted for my wedding. She is a huge part of the reason I was able to have my dream outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour, when rain threatened our whole morning. Cristina listened, got everyone to set up outside, and sure enough the sun shined as I walked down the aisle. I cannot thank Cristina enough, and I would recommend Carismas to anyone in need of an excellent planner!!!

We hired Carismas Design to give us a full wedding plan for our Vow Renewal in South Jersey this June. We were planning the event remotely from Texas, with a toddler in tow - so we were in need of a competent representative on the ground to guide us through the process. Cristina did not disappoint! Cristina is attentive, experienced, and comprehensive. She walked us through the entire process, from start to finish, and was incredibly generous with her time and support. She conducted detailed vendor research, did contract negotiations, and managed communications. She was professional and always respectful, drawing from her wealth of experience in the industry, but always prioritizing our preferences. She and her team are highly competent, and allowed us to relinquish the reins during our big day(s) so that we could enjoy. We recommend her highly!

Cristina was a godsend in the planning process!! From the start of our first phone call she made me feel so at ease and calmed so many of my anxieties regarding planning. She helped us design the most beautiful Save the Dates and invites and mailed out all of them for us which was so extremely helpful. From there, she coordinated so well with all of our vendors which helped the day move along seamlessly. She was quick to take care of any small fires that arose during the day itself as well. I could not recommend Cristina enough. If you have any anxiety at all regarding the planning process/the day of- hire Cristina and she will make sure that you have the wedding day of your dreams.

Where do I start?!

I started planning my wedding in 2022. I never thought I would need a wedding planner nor a wedding coordinator, I really thought I had everything planned and the days would fall into place. Let me just say my wedding was two weekends & consisted of 4 days. I was in for my money. I am so so happy I decided to look on thumbtack and searched day and night until I found carismas design! Cristina is an angel sent to help all brides who have done all their DIYs and want their dream wedding to be executed as planned. Cristina & I started doing phone calls at least two/three months in advance of my wedding. The phone calls became so regular I miss them up until now & my wedding was two weeks ago! The Carisma’s team from Cristina to Vicky & Jermey all of them are such wonderful people! I could not have had the most beautiful and relaxed wedding if it was not for this team. They handled it all and did more work that was agreed to. They will meet all of your expecting and then some! For now and forever I will always recommend getting a wedding coordinator to eliminate the stress off of yourself when it come to the wedding day - believe it or not even when you plan it down to the que, it will never go that way, but this team will make sure they do their best to make everything go smoothly. So many thank yous! I can always look back on my wedding and say I had an amazing time because of Cristina & Carismas Design!

Our wedding would not have gone so smoothly without Cristina and Carismas Design! From day 1 Cristina was there for us every step of the way. We found Cristina after interviewing several planners for our wedding at the Chapel at Sandy Hook. We needed someone who could confidently handle the level of detail that goes with a “DIY” venue, particularly managing vendors and flow of catering, and Cristina and her team delivered!!

We hired Carismas Designs for 1 month planning services. She tactfully took control of situations when we needed it, yet felt like a solid friend on the family team throughout the process. She even helped us facilitate a last minute tent flip and spent the time on calls days prior to ensure we had our seating chart correct before printing - things we may have overlooked on our own.

All of our guests commented on how effortless and seamless everything felt. We will be recommending Carismas Designs to family and friends for years to come!
