We hired Allen for our October 2025 wedding and he was amazing. He exceeded expectations with mixing music, making announcements, and overall energy at our wedding. We provided a play / do not play list and he did a great job of sticking to that and filling in the gaps as needed.

Allen was phenomenal for our wedding!! He was very communicative when we had any questions before the event. We made several playlists for songs, with very different genres, that we would like to hear throughout the 5hr event. He was able to read the energy at the different stages of the night & very smoothly work them in to match or enhance the mood! I told our guests in the invite that we wanted them to come rave with us, and he was absolutely able to fit that vibe. The dance floor was pretty much full the whole night. He was also very receptive to song requests & I think virtually everybody got their song played within the next song or two. Thank you so much for making our celebration truly special and crazy amounts of fun!!!

Before the wedding, Allen was incredibly communicative and organized. We thought it would be fun for guests to submit song requests when they RSVPd. We turned that into a Spotify playlist and Allen was able to build off of that for the reception. He played the perfect variety. I heard all our favorite songs and we were dancing all night! He also sent a little questionnaire ahead of the wedding to make sure he played special songs at the right moments, and had all our announcements planned. All the while, he was so excited for us and happy to be a part of our big day.

On top of that, he quite literally saved our wedding! When our officiant did not show up, Allen stepped in and officiated our ceremony!

All this to say, Allen puts the happiness of his clients above all else. He is a real gem and you will be so glad you worked with him on your big day!

Allen was amazing to work with, he allowed us so much freedom to make our own playlists, but he also gave suggestions to songs and helped choose edits that matched our tone and feel of our wedding. I saw Allen DJ a wedding a couple years ago and was impressed by how he got the grandparents on the dance floor. Luckily, he was an approved vendor for my venue (Twin Oaks House and Gardens) and within budget. He's actually super affordable compared to most DJs in the area. It's nice because his package comes with everything, including uplighting for the dance floor!

Out of all my vendors, Allen was the easiest to work with. He responded super quick to my emails, most of the time within an hour of when it was sent! Allen was even super nice and understanding when I kept having to change my grand entrance order due to a couple snafus with the groomsmen. A couple of months before the wedding, I sent him several playlists for the pre-ceremony, ceremony, cocktail hour, and dancing. He was accommodating and stuck to the vision that I wanted for each part of the wedding. I left the dancing portion up to him, and he was able to get most of my older aunts and uncles to dance!

We were lucky enough to have Allen DJ our sons wedding 2 years ago. When it came time for our daughters wedding, Allen flew to Nashville to help us. He was very professional, timely, friendly and kept in constant contact with us during the time leading up to her wedding. They say the DJ can make or break a wedding. That’s why we weren’t going to take any chances and went with Allen. The reception was so much fun and it was a pleasure to have Allen and his wife along for the ride. Allen DJed my wedding at Tivoli Italian Villa, 1.5 years after we started planning (thanks, COVID). During this time he was super helpful, responsive, and flexible in rolling with all the wedding changes (including a venue change).

We never met before the event but I had total trust in him based on how nice and responsive he was via email. He was a great DJ despite having to comply with the venue's COVID-related rules, and did a great job of reading the room and adjusting accordingly. He even cut our first dance song short after we asked him to do so, since we both did not really want to dance for that long.

I would definitely recommend hiring Allen for your wedding or special event, as I will do in the future if the occasion calls for it.
