  Highly recommend working with Allen!

  Before the wedding, Allen was incredibly communicative and organized. We thought it would be fun for guests to submit song requests when they RSVPd. We turned that into a Spotify playlist and Allen was able to build off of that for the reception. He played the perfect variety. I heard all our favorite songs and we were dancing all night! He also sent a little questionnaire ahead of the wedding to make sure he played special songs at the right moments, and had all our announcements planned. All the while, he was so excited for us and happy to be a part of our big day.
  
  On top of that, he quite literally saved our wedding! When our officiant did not show up, Allen stepped in and officiated our ceremony!
  
  All this to say, Allen puts the happiness of his clients above all else. He is a real gem and you will be so glad you worked with him on your big day!

  He is your DJ!

  Allen was amazing to work with, he allowed us so much freedom to make our own playlists, but he also gave suggestions to songs and helped choose edits that matched our tone and feel of our wedding. Our dancefloor was packed the whole night. He provided the tools necessary for ceremony and speeches. He kept us on schedule and hit all the right cues. Extremely professional and friendly.

  Hire Allen Walker!

  Allen Walker was an AMAZING wedding DJ. He was well-prepared and ensured the night ran smoothly and perfectly. He was very generous with his time and offered to chat with us twice over the phone before our big day. He came 2 hours before the ceremony start time and even helped us with our rehearsal. He played every song we requested and made sure the night was all about us. The dance floor was always full because he was very responsive to the crowd and even took requests. My husband and I are so grateful for Allen!

  If you are looking to book Allen for your wedding, stop and do it NOW! He was communicative from our initial phone call, played all of our must- haves and as SUCH a great MC. He kept the party and crowd going the entire night. He collaborated with a live performance we had during our reception and major props for incorporating all of the Arabic music I requested- including one my family member requested the day of. Allen, we couldn't be happier with how the music of our wedding day turned out and it's all thanks to you.

  Super responsive and affordable DJ!

  I saw Allen DJ a wedding a couple years ago and was impressed by how he got the grandparents on the dance floor. Luckily, he was an approved vendor for my venue (Twin Oaks House and Gardens) and within budget. He's actually super affordable compared to most DJs in the area. It's nice because his package comes with everything, including uplighting for the dance floor!
  
  Out of all my vendors, Allen was the easiest to work with. He responded super quick to my emails, most of the time within an hour of when it was sent! Allen was even super nice and understanding when I kept having to change my grand entrance order due to a couple snafus with the groomsmen. A couple of months before the wedding, I sent him several playlists for the pre-ceremony, ceremony, cocktail hour, and dancing. He was accommodating and stuck to the vision that I wanted for each part of the wedding. I left the dancing portion up to him, and he was able to get most of my older aunts and uncles to dance!
  
  I would highly recommend Allen to DJ your wedding!

  Best dj ever!

  We were lucky enough to have Allen DJ our sons wedding 2 years ago. When it came time for our daughters wedding, Allen flew to Nashville to help us. He was very professional, timely, friendly and kept in constant contact with us during the time leading up to her wedding. They say the DJ can make or break a wedding. That’s why we weren’t going to take any chances and went with Allen. The reception was so much fun and it was a pleasure to have Allen and his wife along for the ride. The Bohemian Rhapsody song was the crowd favorite! Thanks so much Allen for making this process so easy and enjoyable!

  The dj you need

  Allen was extremely professional and met us in person to make sure he was the right fit for our wedding. He stayed in constant email communication and helped me with the whole process. He has a handy music database online to add the music for your wedding playlist. He kept the music going without a hitch and I would hire him again for any other events. Thank you!

  Great DJ, flexible, responsive, and fun!

  Allen DJed my wedding at Tivoli Italian Villa, 1.5 years after we started planning (thanks, COVID). During this time he was super helpful, responsive, and flexible in rolling with all the wedding changes (including a venue change).
  
  We never met before the event but I had total trust in him based on how nice and responsive he was via email. He was a great DJ despite having to comply with the venue's COVID-related rules, and did a great job of reading the room and adjusting accordingly. He even cut our first dance song short after we asked him to do so, since we both did not really want to dance for that long.
  
  I would definitely recommend hiring Allen for your wedding or special event, as I will do in the future if the occasion calls for it.

  Allen was great to work with! We hired him for our wedding and he delivered a great experience. He had very reasonable prices for our ceremony. We chatted a few times with him over the phone prior to the event, and then we built up a playlist on his website.   BEST DJ! Highly Recommend!

  We are SO happy with our decision to have Allen DJ our wedding! He went above and beyond to create a personal connection with us which made us confident that we made the right choice! He was so easy to work with, extremely personable, and created such a FUN environment during our reception! He was so good at reading the crowd and choosing which song to play next. People were complimenting him all night! He is extremely professional but also very easygoing. He will work with you to create the exact vibe you are wanting on your special day! I couldn't have asked for a better DJ! I would definitely recommend him!

  So easy to work with

  Allen was so great to work with. He just made everything so easy and stress free. He obviously knows what he's doing and does a great job. He played great music, kept everyone happy, and didn't try to be the star of the show. I appreciated his awesome attitude so much and would definitely recommend him to a friend.

He had everything set up and ready to go and transitioned from ceremony, to cocktail hour, and reception flawlessly. The uplighting he provided really helped enhance my venue and add an extra romantic element. His website is so easy to use- you can make your own place list- and maybe even more importantly do not play list. His website has suggestions for each step of your wedding if you are stuck and need some inspiration. I would hire him again in a heart beat!

We had a good mix of ages at our wedding, but both young and old came up to me afterwards and were raving about how good the music was.   My original DJ fell through the week of. I know, every bride's worst nightmare, that is, until DJ ALLEN WALKER saved the day. He was very organized, patient and calmed this Bride's nerves! We had the Best Man play our first dance on the guitar. DJ ALLEN WALKER knew which cords/hookups we needed. We had a compilation of home videos playing during our cocktail hour. DJ ALLEN WALKER provided the second laptop to play it on! He was extremely professional, reasonably priced and was respectful of both our and our guest's requests. He had something for everyone and really adjusted to how the crowd responded to the music.
  
  He did not 'steal the show' but made announcements/used the microphone when necessary and did a great job at that. We had our wedding at the Admiral Kidd Club which was very strict.
  
  HIGHLY RECOMMEND for those getting married on the base. And HIGHLY RECOMMEND for those getting married period.

  I loved working with Allen Walker. My husband and I had a very eclectic music selection for our reception and very specific music for our ceremony. It turned out fantastic and our guests are still taking about it a few weeks later. Allen was fantastic keeping the party going with our fun family friendly event.

Unfortunately, I didn't spend much time at all talking to him on the actual day of, but in all the time leading up, he was wondering to converse with and made it really easy for us to plan everything. He took requests from the guests, and timed everything really well. We got several compliments on how fun the music was, as well as how good the DJ himself was. His uplights made the reception room look great, and he wore our decorative/gift sunglasses for the ceremony outside which I loved :) He even saved us at one point when a drunk brother in law tried to give a "karaoke" speech, he (thankfully!) cut the song short (in a polite way) and I was so relieved. I highly recommend Allen Walker for your wedding!

  Allen Walker was the best! We were pretty hands off when it came to booking a DJ. We knew we didn't want a cheesy wedding DJ and we also aren't huge fans of the newer dance music. He took the very little direction we gave him and was able to keep the party going. I could not have been happier with our choice of DJ.

  Allen was absolutely amazing!! We had a Skype meeting with him when we decided we wanted to use him for our wedding. He definitely knows how to get the party started and plays all the right kind of music. If you have a playlist in mind he can go off that directly, which is so nice! Allen made our wedding so much fun and I could definitely use him again for parties in the future:)

He was very flexible, his prices reasonable, and he even added more to his package for us without increasing the price. On the wedding day he was professional, he paid careful attention to play all of our requested songs, and he is genuinely an honest and caring person. He was able to keep the dance floor full for the whole event!

  Allen was so awesome! He DJ'd our wedding this past weekend and did an excellent job! We had a much larger group of our friends (in their 20s) compared to older adults and he played a great variety while sticking to our playlist and taking requests. We would recommend him hands down to anyone in the San Diego area.
