We got married in August 2021 and used Ani/Ace of Events as our wedding planner. Ani and his team were simply incredible and choosing Ace of Events as our wedding planner was the best decision – we highly recommend them to everyone!
From our very first conversation with Ani, we noted his level of dedication and commitment to detail, but also at the same time helping us to feel stress-free about the whole process of planning a multi-day Indian wedding. Ani said his team’s goal is for the bride and groom to feel like guests at our own wedding and truly enjoy our celebration – and we can say wholeheartedly that’s exactly how we felt during our multi-day wedding events! Ani helped us manage all the complexities that came with planning a wedding (including rescheduling it once due to the Covid-19 pandemic and basically “re-planning it”)! Ani and his team managed all the details leading up to the wedding (coordinating with vendors, venue, helping us with guest lists and so many other finer details that we couldn’t fit in this review.) During the actual wedding his team ensured we stayed on schedule, managed vendors, and kept everything moving like clockwork. Our guests raved about how everything flowed so easily and were impressed at how every detail was so meticulously planned!

Ani and his team were there every step of the way and especially when things didn’t go according to plan, we were so thankful for him! For example, our ceremony had to be moved indoors due to rain last minute, and he handled that with the venue and it ended up being completely stress free for us as the bride and groom. Ace of Events was even there for the little things. Walking into the mehndi event, I had an earring break and Ani was right there to hold onto it. We also misplaced a couple of items for the events, and Ani’s team worked meticulously to track them down.

We often talk about just how perfect our wedding weekend felt and how much fun we have (and how we would do it all over again in a heartbeat) and Ani + Ace of Events are a HUGE part of that.

Meeting Ani and working with Ace of Events was more than just a wedding planning experience, it was like having extended family execute your perfect weekend. All of the vendors they brought to us have very close working and personal relationships with each other, and are deeply connected in the DC/MD/VA Indian wedding community. This made us feel extremely cared for, because in all the meetings and calls you can feel the deep understanding they have of the situation and what your wedding requires. Our wedding went off without a single hitch, every second and every detail was perfectly seamless, and it was a 3 day extravaganza in Charlottesville, Virginia with over 300 people. Two weeks later we had a second reception in Long Island, NY with 250 people, and they also planned and executed that event for us with hardly any turnaround time. I am still in disbelief at how they do it, but we'll never know. They are effortless, endlessly upbeat, and will keep you dreaming about the magic of your wedding forever.

Ani and his team are some of the most professional planners I have ever had the pleasure of working with. We hired him for partial planning services and he went above and beyond. We relied heavily on Ani for advice for wedding timings, venues, how to handle lack of responses from other vendors, etc. and he has helped us through all of it with such grace and patience. When we did our site walk through, I felt so relaxed after a long year of planning because I knew I could hand things over to him and he will have the ability to take care of things for me. I cannot recommend him enough, he is the BEST.
