Ace of Events is simply the best of the best.

We got married in August 2021 and used Ani/Ace of Events as our wedding planner. Ani and his team were simply incredible and choosing Ace of Events as our wedding planner was the best decision – we highly recommend them to everyone!
From our very first conversation with Ani, we noted his level of dedication and commitment to detail, but also at the same time helping us to feel stress-free about the whole process of planning a multi-day Indian wedding. Ani said his team’s goal is for the bride and groom to feel like guests at our own wedding and truly enjoy our celebration – and we can say wholeheartedly that’s exactly how we felt during our multi-day wedding events! We got to enjoy every function and felt so ease knowing Ani and his team had everything under control.

Ani helped us manage all the complexities that came with planning a wedding (including rescheduling it once due to the Covid-19 pandemic and basically “re-planning it”)! Ani and his team managed all the details leading up to the wedding (coordinating with vendors, venue, helping us with guest lists and so many other finer details that we couldn’t fit in this review.) During the actual wedding his team ensured we stayed on schedule, managed vendors, and kept everything moving like clockwork. Our guests raved about how everything flowed so easily and were impressed at how every detail was so meticulously planned!

Ani and his team were there every step of the way and especially when things didn’t go according to plan, we were so thankful for him! For example, our ceremony had to be moved indoors due to rain last minute, and he handled that with the venue and it ended up being completely stress free for us as the bride and groom. Ace of Events was even there for the little things. Walking into the mehndi event, I had an earring break and Ani was right there to hold onto it. We also misplaced a couple of items for the events, and Ani’s team worked meticulously to track them down.

We often talk about just how perfect our wedding weekend felt and how much fun we have (and how we would do it all over again in a heartbeat) and Ani + Ace of Events are a HUGE part of that.

He made our dream wedding happen and we couldn't be more grateful for his team’s invaluable contribution to our special day. If you're looking for a wedding planner who will go above and beyond to make your dream wedding a reality, look no further than Ani and his team at Ace of Events!

Objectively speaking the best wedding anyone has ever been to- cannot say enough good things

Meeting Ani and working with Ace of Events was more than just a wedding planning experience, it was like having extended family execute your perfect weekend. All of the vendors they brought to us have very close working and personal relationships with each other, and are deeply connected in the DC/MD/VA Indian wedding community. This made us feel extremely cared for, because in all the meetings and calls you can feel the deep understanding they have of the situation and what your wedding requires. The important thing as a client is having trust in your planner's ability to hear you, and know that they are making that happen, even if you don't see it. To all of us not in the industry, it is impossible to imagine how all of these pieces come together to create such a fantastic outcome. With Ace of Events, your jaw will keep dropping day after day in awe that everything is happening exactly as- and even better than- you envisioned it. Our wedding went off without a single hitch, every second and every detail was perfectly seamless, and it was a 3 day extravaganza in Charlottesville, Virginia with over 300 people. Two weeks later we had a second reception in Long Island, NY with 250 people, and they also planned and executed that event for us with hardly any turnaround time. I am still in disbelief at how they do it, but we'll never know. They are effortless, endlessly upbeat, and will keep you dreaming about the magic of your wedding forever.

Ace of Events is the BEST!

Ani and his team are some of the most professional planners I have ever had the pleasure of working with. We hired him for partial planning services and he went above and beyond. We relied heavily on Ani for advice for wedding timings, venues, how to handle lack of responses from other vendors, etc. and he has helped us through all of it with such grace and patience. When we did our site walk through, I felt so relaxed after a long year of planning because I knew I could hand things over to him and he will have the ability to take care of things for me. I cannot recommend him enough, he is the BEST.

Ahead of the Game

We had the pleasure of working with Ace Events for our Indian wedding and we are so thrilled Ani and his team were our planners!

We originally were scheduled to have a wedding in DC but due to the pandemic, our wedding plans changed to a few years later in the NJ/NY area.

Putting our wedding into perspective, it was a multi-day event with 400+ guests, so you can only imagine how much planning was involved due to the number of vendors, guests, and events.

Flawless Execution

Exceptional wedding planner!

Despite COVID challenges, Ani and Anjali orchestrated a flawless celebration. To this date, everyone raves at how amazing our wedding turned out. They did the impossible by turning around a 50-person wedding within two months.

Impeccable attention to detail, creative solutions to ever changing COVID-rules and weather issues, and unwavering professionalism made our special day truly magical. In addition to their professionalism, we want to highlight their warm approach. It was obvious that they cared about us throughout the process, and became part of the family.

An amazing experience!

We had such a great experience with Ani and his Ace of Events team for our wedding! The entire team is professional, detail-oriented, and made our multiple-event wedding run flawlessly. At first, the thought of planning an Indian wedding felt taxing, as there are so many details that one can naturally overlook. BEST Wedding Planners!

Our family is a repeat customer of Ace; we hired them for a wedding in 2022 and loved them so much that when we were planning another wedding in 2023, we didn't set the wedding date until Ani confirmed which dates he was available. That's how good Ace is!

Ani can manage massive crowds of hundreds of people and still make sure the wedding timeline stays on track (and even ahead of schedule). His team is detail-oriented, reliable, quick to reply, and very easy to work with. They always go above and beyond!

Claire was exceptional as well - at the wedding, she was always nearby, making sure events stayed on track, and helping make sure our family members were taken care of so we could host our guests.

ACED Our Events!

I found Ace of Events through a deep dive search on Instagram in 2020 and knew from their page that I had to have them as our wedding planners. We hired the ACE team very early on in our wedding planning process (Jan '21) for their "full planning services" as this was the first wedding in our family, and we needed a lot of guidance. Our wedding was over a year away (Sept/Oct '22), so we were able to minimize the stress. I worked very closely with Ani, and we knocked out booking all of our vendors in the first 3 months. I really appreciated the team's level of communication throughout the process Since I was planning a wedding in Virginia Beach from New Jersey, I spent a lot of time conversing with Ani, Anjali, and other members of the Ace team over email and phone. Ani was really helpful in monitoring budget, reading our contracts, and establishing good contact with our other vendors/venues. During the wedding weekend, I was floored by how diligent Ani and his team were. Each event timeline was followed so closely that even our guests were impressed with how everything flowed. We received many compliments from our family and friends on their observations of the Ace team and how professional they were. I recommend to all the future south asian brides to add Ace of Events to your dream vendor list!

Amazing wedding planner

Had a great experience working with Ace of events to help plan our wedding reception! Huge thanks to Claire - she was heavily involved with the planning and was there on the day of to execute our vision. So much could have gone wrong as a storm ruined our outdoor cocktail hour plan and I was running late getting ready and therefore arrived later than planned to the venue. However, Claire, Waris and Beth were there to handle the last minute changes and ensure everything went as smoothly as possible. Could not have imagined the day without Ace!

Ani and his Ace of Events team were amazing wedding planners! They made our wedding the most memorable experience we could have imagined. We had a unique situation in which our wedding was postponed from July 2020 to July 2021 and Ani and his team were amazing in helping us reschedule and ensure everything was covered. It was very stress-free the day of our events which is all thanks to him and his team. They are super detail-oriented, very professional, responsive, and value your and your family members ideas/thoughts regardless if it is something so minor. Ani even met us for our pre-wedding event walkthrough to ensure everything was covered which was above and beyond on his part. We experienced no delays at any of our events and every single detail was accounted for. Guests were complimenting us on how smooth and timely all of the events were and that couldn't be possible without Ani and his team. Ani was also super helpful in providing us names of vendors who he has experience with from the past. We had a large wedding (guest count of ~500 people) and they were able to manage that effectively! I would highly recommend them to any couple looking for an event planner, you won't regret it! :)

Working with ACE of events was an absolute dream. Planning a multi-day, luxe wedding experience is no easy feat, and the ACE team worked with us and our families to ensure that the events came together well. They worked with us collaboratively to make sure that they understood what we wanted, and no detail was too small to go over. What sets them apart is their attention to detail and commitment to bringing our vision to life. No idea is too grand or too silly - you tell them you want a colorful holud and a LOTR inspired reception, and they will make sure it happens (and will work with you to set and stick to a realistic budget!). From the initial consultation, to preparing guest lists and invitations, to going through event itineraries and in-person walk-throughs, to arranging pick up for day-of items (signage, guest book, favors, sparklers, etc.), to delivering welcome bags for out-of-town guests, and to managing the event timelines the day of, the ACE team worked with me every step of the way with consistent communications and plans for a truly flawless event experience. They thought about details that we otherwise might have missed, and expertly conveyed their suggestions for things such as room set up, flow of people, vendor organization, outfit change, and more! They also had a great list of vendor referrals for us to make sure we had all the different aspects covered (including but not limited to bakery, photography and videography).

Absolute best

Ani and the whole Ace team were fantastic to work with and we couldn’t recommend them more strongly! We interviewed almost a dozen wedding planners in multiple cities - and Ace easily rose to the top as our first choice. Ani is extremely tenacious, organized, responsive, and creative, all of which easily made Ace the best choice to plan our wedding.

Ani is an organized, detail-oriented planner. For a nearly 500-person wedding, there were thousands of details to stay on top of - Ani made sure we stayed on track with all major decisions. Throughout the planning process he clearly laid out which decisions were needed when, and proactively followed-up with us if we were at risk of falling behind. As we approached the wedding day the entire weekend was planned to the minute and the Ace team made sure we knew exactly where to be at all times. The wedding weekend was completely seamless, and that was thanks to Ani and his incredible organizational skills.

Ani was also very responsive throughout the planning process, always promptly and thoroughly responding to our (many) questions. He was very flexible and always made himself available for meetings with our families and with vendors, even on short notice. This was particularly helpful when we had two sets of parents also heavily involved in the planning process - Ani was totally comfortable bringing them along in the process, answering their independent questions, and helping us navigate complicated group decisions. It was a huge comfort knowing we had someone in our corner to help navigate questions big and small to make the planning process as smooth as possible.

Finally, Ani was very creative and found innovative, unique solutions to challenges that would have stumped other planners. The word “impossible” is not in his vocabulary - he always found a way around inevitable roadblocks. He has authentic relationships with vendors, who respect his process and work closely with him to bring wedding visions to life. His experience, industry knowledge, and ability to think outside the box when needed helped make our dream wedding a reality.

We’re so lucky to have found Ani and the Ace team, and would highly recommend them to anyone that as our wedding weekend would not have been as magical without them. We love Ani and the Ace team and hope you get the chance to work with them as well!

Words cannot describe the comfort, ease and seamless chain of events that was provided to us, our family and guests on our wedding day. Best decision!

Hiring Ace of Events for our wedding was by far one of the best decisions we made after deciding to get married! :) Ani was so helpful and really helped ease my nerves with planning a South Asian wedding in 3 months time. Ani was so organized and on top of things with regular check-ins and meetings and really that my fiance and I were never overwhelmed and gave his honest feedback, given his extensive experience with weddings. For the day of our events, the team was on point with making sure everything ran smoothly. 10/10 would recommend Ace of Events to my newly engaged friends.

Most amazing wedding planner in town - made our day so magical!!

If you are looking for the most amazing wedding vendor in town, look no further and choose Ace of Events! I had a complete Bollywood wedding, which required extensive planning and we had many guests who were coming in from all over the United States and India (hence a great deal of coordination on the day of!). From the get go, Ani, our wedding planner went above and beyond to make sure that the wedding day went off just as I envisioned. He worked countless hours with me on multiple details for day, from timeline coordination to the smallest details for the wedding day.

The team even picked up all of our programs and other wedding items from our house a couple days before the wedding, which was absolutely amazing! I cannot express how amazing Ani and his team were! During the wedding time, they made sure the day went off without a hitch and we were all GUESTS at our own wedding, which really took away the stress of the day and allowed us to enjoy the best day of our lives to its fullest capacity! We got so many compliments from guests of how flawlessly the day went and how well coordinated everything was (which is extremely difficult to do with all the events that occur during Bollywood weddings) - all thanks to Ani! I can never thank Ani and his team enough for what he did for our wedding day! Professtional and Experienced

We looked at many different wedding planners before picking Ace of Events but I'm sure glad we picked the right team. We hired them for the month of package and Ani and his team got more and more involved leading up to the big day. He was also kind enough to have numerous calls with us before the wedding month to make sure everything was on track. There's so many small items that were stressing us out that he graciously helped us out with like picking up wedding items and dropping it to the hotel a day in advance. Only family would do things like this.

He is experienced, detail oriented and confident which is exactly the type of person you need for wedding planning which can be quite stressful. On the big day, his team executed flawlessly. From prepping the bridal squad on how to walk to making sure each event space was properly set up (and last minute changes if something didn't look good) to most importantly, making Neha and I feel at ease, they did an excellent job.

We had an outdoor event that we had to relocate because of rain but Ani talked me though the entire process and allowed me to make the call at the very last minute which I greatly appreciated. He worked to find every last solution possible because he knew how important this event was to me. Although relocated, the event still turned out amazing.

Overall, I would recommend Ace of Events to anyone who wants a professional wedding planning team that will execute your dream wedding flawlessly. I want Ani for all my events because he is like family to us now.

Wedding Organization Masters!

I can’t thank Ace of Events and Ani enough for making our event so special. I tried five different vendors and he was the first one to respond. His manner and courtesy could not be matched by others. He immediately reached out to other parties helping us with the wedding and took command to make our special day happen. The biggest quality I appreciated about Ani was his humor in keeping us calm when it got to crunch time. Whatever the problem or concern we threw at him; he had a solution. On the day of wedding, we couldn’t believe how everything turned out. It was better than what we had dreamed of. He and his team gave us the trust to engage with our guests without worrying about the catering or sequence of events. In my opinion, Ace of Events is by far the best Wedding Planner/Coordinator in the business. I strongly recommend others to reach out and see how Ace of Events and Ani can make your event special!

Excellent service and professionalism

The Ace of Events team made a tremendous difference to our wedding. Ani is incredibly smart, direct and creative, which was critical for us with planning and executing a large wedding. He is a quick problem solver and has tremendous patience - two essential qualities for working with people that are planning perhaps the biggest and most stressful event of their lives!

The entire team is responsive and works to meet the needs of the clients to their fullest extent. In fact, this team went above and beyond by going through the process of acquiring a Baltimore City park permit for a portion of our wedding. If you're from Baltimore, you know how difficult it can be to work with the City! We are just so grateful for all of their efforts leading up to and during the big day. With their help, the wedding went very smoothly and we were able to just enjoy each moment one at a time. Much love to the Ace of Events crew!

Ace of Events will make your life easier!

Ani and Anjali were the most fantastic wedding planners! We began working with Ace of Events about a year before our wedding. Ani helped us find venues and suggested several vendors to work with for decor, music etc. Although, I always recommend doing your own research and finding vendors you feel most comfortable with, Ani's helpfulness and deep knowledge of event vendors in the region was not overlooked. Our ceremony was in a unique public area in DC and required several permits and had a number of restrictions attached to it. Ani's team managed all of this and worked directly with the vendor to get all necessary permits etc. As a bride (with a number of other items to worry about), I was so thankful to have the Ace team take this on. Before the wedding, the Ace team coordinate weekly phone calls with vendors and would compile any outstanding issues and send them to us in an organized email so we didn't have all vendors trying to communicate with us at the same time. Throughout my wedding, the Ace team kept all events on time and was highly punctual. I could not recommend Ani, Anjali and their team more - having them guide us through our wedding planning and coordinate our wedding was so critical.

Best South Asian Wedding Planners in the DMV!

Ani and his entire team at Ace of Events managed each step of our planning process professionally and seamlessly. There wasn't a single detail overlooked. We had a four-day event and, even when a hiccup would arise, it was handled before we could even be made aware of its existence. To us, that was the sign of true expertise. Thanks to Ani and his phenomenal team, people will be raving about our wedding for decades to come.

Amazing planners & team!!

One of the best decisions we made was hiring Ace of Events for our wedding and it was absolutely flawless. His team did an amazing job and we did not have to worry at all during the planning process. Ani was incredibly responsive and very easy to accommodate and work with along with his team. Indian weddings always tend to run late or over, but the one thing he made sure of was that everything was on time, which we thought was impossible. His recommendations and connections also were fantastic, and he's well known in throughout DC area. His team is very professional, reliable and hardworking. We honestly didn't run into any issues during the wedding weekend because he and his team made sure behind the scenes everything ran smoothly. Thank you again Ani, Anjali & to the entire team!!

Money Well Spent!!

Many people enjoy wedding planning. However, for us, it was a stressful and exhausting experience. The best decision we made was having Ace of Events handle the day of coordination for our wedding and reception. Taking the responsibility of coordinating with vendors and making sure events/rituals were executed on time was a God-send. Both of us (the bride and groom) had an assistant assigned to us and they made sure we had everything we needed and kept us focused and as relaxed as possible. They were by our side whenever we needed them and anticipated our needs before we could tell them anything. Any hitch, big or small, was dealt with, seamlessly. Our #1 recommendation to any couple going through wedding planning is to hire Ace of Events. Anything wedding related comes with an increased price tag, however, Ace of Events was the best money we spent during our wedding. We couldn't have been happier to have Ani and his team take care of us!

Best decision we made!

Ani is doing what he is meant to do -- he is phenomenal at his job and as a bride, I'll remember that forever.

He went above and beyond in the planning process (even coming to a site visit despite that not being part of the package we purchased). Our wedding day would not have gone so smoothly without Ace of Events. I received so many compliments on the flow of the day in spite of its complexity and that is attributable to them. I'm sure there were other fires that his team put out behind the scenes that we'll never even know about. Ani is not just a director and a producer but a family mediator and source of support. I was studying for the bar exam the same summer as my wedding, and the week leading up to the bar exam, Ani stepped in, told me it was going to be okay if I focused solely on my work, and he would take care of everything. It was exactly what I needed in that moment.

He has an amazing team working for him as well - professional, composed, and experienced. Anna was a perfect morning-of companion and I really appreciated her presence. She had tissues, water, everything I needed the moment I needed it.

Ani and his team are the best! We had a HUGE Sikh wedding, which tend to be several days long, and everything went off without a hitch. From planning, working with vendors and venue operators, Ani was on-point, detail oriented, and knew how to 'speak the language' of those who regularly work in the wedding services industry -- and because of that -- he helped save a lot of time and money. It's important to note that he was the company my brother-in-law used for his Sikh wedding, and there's a reason we used him for ours. Professional and first class all the way!

Wonderful experience

Ani and his team at Ace of Events did everything and more to make sure that we had a memorable, fun, and smooth wedding. We really could not have asked for a better team to help coordinate the chaos of the wedding day events! The best planners I could have ever hired!

Ani and his team did an incredible job with my big fat sikh wedding. We had over 300 guests at the Sangeet and Wedding. Along with over 500 guests for the actual reception. The reception was held at National Building Museum and we had like 30 different vendors. The Ace of Events team handled everything so my wife and I had to worry about nothing. I would highly recommend hiring them for any event that you put together.

Ani and his team at Ace of Events were amazing to work with. I have been photographing weddings for 4 years, and I have worked with a number of wedding planners (some large teams, some individuals, and some family friends who want to plan weddings). I have never worked with a planner anywhere near as amazing as Ace (and Ani in particular -- as he is the team leader I worked with). Literally, everything ran perfectly and smoothly, and I know that it was Ani and his team hard at work making sure everything went flawlessly. I cannot impress enough upon anyone considering hiring them, that it will be the best investment in your event you could possibly make! I am still reeling in how complicated and how many moving parts the wedding I photographed with Ace was, and how effortless Ani and the team made it out to be. I wish every single wedding I photographed was organized and run by Ace of Events. Seriously. They are literally the best!

My Husband & I worked with Ace of Events for our April 2016 wedding. From the moment we sat down with Ani & Anjali, we knew that we had found our Event Planners to help make sure our wedding weekend was nothing but perfect. Not only was it immediately clear that they possessed the hard skills & work ethics we were looking for in a planner (they are organized, communicative, and knowledgeable about south Asian vendors), but they also made it their first priority to truly understand who we were as individuals, as a couple, and what we were looking for in order for our event to be perfect in our eyes. Ani worked closely with Husband and I to make sure everything was set in place for our wedding weekend. Because of his dedication to us our wedding really reflected our personalities – it ended up being exactly what my husband and I dreamed of. And because of this, we have the Ace of Events team to thank for creating something so deeply personal.

We'd heard horror stories about wedding planners from family and friends but with Ace of Events – not only did they exceed our expectations but we actually had so much fun throughout the wedding weekend working with them. My husband & I are extremely picky with how we like things done, but Ani really handled all of the craziness we threw their way with so much kindness. While we must have asked a trillion questions, had to make last minute venue changes due to weather, and much more, Ace of Events was so patient with us and really guided us in a way that all of these tasks created no stress.

On the day of our wedding we were hit with multiple curve balls, but Ani always took the upper hand and made it his responsibility to handle everything for us so we wouldn’t have to stress anything. The wedding weekend was everything we envisioned, and more.

I have no complaints about Ace of Events-they were beyond amazing that even our guests recognized their hard work and were surprised of how well they handled everything.

For a family to host one Indian wedding in a year is daunting enough but to host two and that too within three months of each other...well that just seemed unimaginable for my parents. But thanks to Ani and Anjali Sandhu and the entire Ace of Events team my parents hosted two very beautiful and elegant weddings for my sister and I.

Ani and Anjali Sandhu are consummate professionals, with an uncanny ability to recognize their client’s style and preferences, and superb organizational skills and attentiveness to deliver their precious events with elegance and perfection. Selecting them to handle our daughter’s wedding was perhaps the single most important decision we made, and one that contributed most to the splendid outcome. We were blessed to have Ani and Anjali’s wisdom, guidance, and hand holding over the months leading to the wedding at the Mandarin, Washington DC.

Ani is the master planner and Anjali is full of creativity and design ideas. Her stylistic input made the wedding stationary and accoutrements exceptional. Both are very pleasant and warm to work with, and we never ever felt rushed in our phone conversations and in more than a dozen meetings. They must know how to make each client special as our family always came out of the meetings thinking that we were, perhaps, their sole clients. They anticipated every need of ours, presented us thoroughly researched options and strategies, and held our hand when we were indecisive and messing up the planning or execution time-lines.

Ani had us meet several vendors in each category, advising us on the pros and cons of each but without ever nudging us towards any. Likewise all expenses incurred by Ace of Events on our behalf were presented to us with original invoices and without any add-ons.

Ani and Anjali choreographed the entire wedding and we are truly grateful to them for putting their hearts and minds into its planning and execution; we couldn’t have asked for more. The wedding will be featured in the September issue of the Washingtonian magazine. Ani and Anjali are truly Aces at what they do. We would recommend them to anyone planning a very special event in a heartbeat.

Working with Ace of Events was a seamless, stress free, and enjoyable process!!!! They helped us plan our wedding from start to finish and made it seem easy. We had multiple challenging aspects to our wedding planning that they made seem like everyday business.

Our wedding was a Christian/Hindu wedding with 2 ceremonies on 2 different days at 2 different locations with 600 guests!!! That is a ton of venue, cater, decor, timing to coordinate and we did not have a single mishap!! All of the guests were happy and enjoyed every moment without any confusion about where to be, how to get there, or what was happening.

To make it even more challenging our wedding was in DC and my husband was living in DC for the year while I was living in NYC for work while we planned the wedding. So they went out of their way to do many things by phone or email or even meet with us on A LOT of weekends when I was in town to get everything just right.

Ani and Anjali are incredibly organized, calm, and friendly. They made the entire process a joy and the event was AMAZING!!! I trusted them to make many of the decisions based on their experience and they nailed it every time!!! They are not only great event planners they are great people who are truly interested in the success of your event! I would recommend them without reservation to anyone planning any event who wants it to be world class!!!

To say our wedding was an elaborate event is an understatement. Without the help of Ani and his Ace of Events team, our wedding could not have been accomplished in such a special and flawless manor. Ani and his staff were so attentive from day one of planning (months before). Ace of Events knowledge, patience, and work ethic paid off.

Personally speaking, Ani was treated us a member of his family and we reciprocated the same to him. He made the most complex issues easy to handle and we never had any issues throughout the week. From the first day we met Ani & Anjali it was such a comfortable and open dialogue. Raj and I always felt like our opinions, suggestions and ideas were valued and respected. However, Ani and Anjali would cautiously steer us in the right direction if need be (heck we've never planned a wedding before)!
-Ani organized a meeting with all of our wedding vendors (on site) to make sure everyone was on the same page. Thank goodness he did this because there was a huge misunderstanding about the flowers we wanted which was brought to light ... And fortunately straightened out at the meeting!
-Anjali organized (and color coordinated!) a detailed schedule for all the ladies getting hair and makeup for the wedding day.
-there was a detailed minute-by-minute schedule for the wedding day for each event: time of event, where everyone was to be, point of contact numbers, etc.
- Ani came over a few days before and picked up everything needed for the big day. That was really helpful because our families didn't have to worry about if they had everything on hand the day of. All the gift exchange items, ceremony stuff etc was there when we needed it! Pamphlets, guest books, place cards and wedding favors were perfectly laid out in their proper locations!
-last but not least. Because ACE handled all the details day of the wedding our families and Raj and I really got to just kick back and enjoy the day. At the crack of dawn Ani and his team were on top of everything. Not once did we feel like something was wrong or not being handled properly. This isn't to say there weren't issues... There were our fair share of wedding day fiascos; but the team handled everything without concerning us or our family (only consulting when they absolutely had to).
I'm sure there were a million other moments we did not mention here where Ani and Anjali saved us or guided us but we think you can already understand how incredible they are! Thank you so much ACE!

Ani, Anjali, and the rest of the Ace of Events team did an amazing job at my wedding! We got married at the Grand Lodge of Maryland so we did not have a venue coordinator. Fortunately, Ace of Events took care of everything. We had been planning this wedding for a year and a half and we had to bring in everything for the venue. We were so grateful to have Ani there to help us. He was very responsive to our emails and phone calls and answered all of our questions. He also helped us find amazing vendors.

As we got closer to the wedding, Ani contacted all of our vendors to make sure everything was arranged for the wedding day. He also created a very detailed timeline for the wedding day and picked up all of the wedding items beforehand so we did not have to worry about bringing them to the venue.

On the wedding day, the Ace of Events team made sure everything ran smoothly. Even though we were running behind, I did not have to worry about a thing. Ani and Anjali made sure everyone was where they were supposed to be. I later realized that I had given the bridal party very little instructions about their entrances but Ani and Anjali covered everything. They even went out of their way to find their groom's ring when he forgot it at the hotel after the ceremony.

I highly recommend Ace of Events. I know our wedding would not have been as amazing as it was without the help of Ace of Events.

Ani and Anjali did an excellent job throughout the wedding planning and coordination process. Although we only used Ace of Events for our wedding coordination, they were very responsive and helpful throughout our planning process as well. They bring depth and breadth of wedding planning/coordinating experience and knowledge, covering details that I would have never thought of. Our wedding would not have gone so smoothly if it was not for Ace of Events - they took time to understand the flow of our wedding day and made sure all of the important details were taken care of, with the utmost professionalism. They took care of scheduling everything and making sure we were on time, even when there were multiple events occuring at once! We interviewed few event planners and we found Ani Sandhu of Ace of Events to be the most professional, well spoken individual among all. So we decided to go with him and I think one of the best decisions we made for our son's wedding. Throughout the process he had been very helpful by giving advise and returning phone calls and emails promptly. We commend his capabilities especially during the week of and the day of the wedding.
Ani and his team coordinated with other vendors very efficiently and we did not have to answer any of the vendors questions on the day of the wedding. He and his team took all the responsibilities from us and we walked in and out of the wedding and reception like any other guests. We even got complements from our guests that we looked very relaxed at our own son's wedding.
All the valuables, we used during wedding time were neatly packed and handed over to us by his team.
We can say it again Ani and his team made bride and groom and their families day very stress free and everything went like a clock work without any glitches and timings were maintained up to the minute.
We are looking forward to working with him and his team in our future events.

I came across Vivaah, Ace of Events Wedding Planning brochure during the time I was dating my husband. I had spoken to a few other Wedding Planners, however none of them left me with a feeling of trust or for that matter, gave me a competitive price for their services. What I further appreciated, that Ani was never forceful in obtaining my business, and if I really wanted to, I had a checklist and a list of all vendors in the directory that I could begin my own planning. It was a nervous time for me, as my husband and mine's families are overseas, and we had no knowledge of planning an indian wedding in the US. Since we signed on with Ani, he was in constant contact, very organized and provided me with timing guidelines on when we should book all our vendors. He and his colleague Anjali (now a married couple:D), took a lot of the reasearch work off my plate by providing me with vendors, setting up meetings as well as attending meetings with me. Anjali even helped me with my creative process and development of themes. She even gave her opinion on my hair and make up trials, just as a girlfriend would do. Ani handled all the difficult conversations with vendors, made sure that everything was working like clockwork, (a major feat, as this is not customary for Indian weddings!) and was available at all hours leading up to our event. Because Ani and Anjali developed not only a great working relationship, but a friendship with us, they knew our personality and style which led them to make perfect decisions on our behalf as well.Our Wedding was a very very memorable affair for us, our family and friends, which could not have been possible without a series of random events that led me to discover , work and form a friendship with Ace of Events. Ani and his team at Ace of Events were absolutely wonderful with planning our wedding events. I was studying for my med school board exam while planning our wedding and I can't imagine having organized our wedding events without them. They were recommended to us by a family friend who utilized their services in planning a rather large wedding. Ani, Anjali and everyone on their team was polite, professional, organized, and truly caring. Because of their extensive experience they already had relationships with the other vendors we had involved in our event and were able to recommend vendors to us as well. They planned and maintained an organized and efficient timeline for our wedding and reception. They considered minute details I never would have thought about. They brought great fresh ideas to the table with regards to decor, entertainment, and the set up of the halls we used. I would recommend Ace of Events to anyone planning any sort of wedding in the DC/VA/MD area. I'm incredibly happy they were there at our wedding and made everything run so smoothly.

What can we say about your participation and that of your team. I need to come out and just say it – “You met and beat all of our expectations”.We have worked with you over the past year, there was a lot of detail that we wanted to be involved in, from the planning of the location, the planning of the events, finding the sub-contractors and finally executing the plan – of pulling together 2-weddings over a 2-day period. I cannot say enough about the execution, you had a great team, ran the time-line as planned and made sure that all the vendors/subs performed what they needed to perform. Several members of our family and friends had only great things to say about how well the plan was executed, they were just very impressed in the amount of detail that went into it. You and your team took away the stress of worrying about the details, and allowing us to concentrate on enjoying the 2-day celebration and paying attention to the family and friends that were attending.
To anybody who plans to use ACE Event Planning – Ani and his team are very professional. They have a good knowledge of and a professional relationship with many of the other Vendors/Sub-contractors in the business. Ani allows you the couple/parents to get as involved as you want to. Ani and his team come up with a plan based on the ideas you give him, but more importantly he and his team execute that plan in a way that appears effortless, a sign that he has done this countless times before. We hired Ace of Events for our 'day of' planners and they were awesome! Ani and his staff made sure they covered every single detail! The best part about them is that this job requires you to be assertive with over 300 guests, you have to otherwise you'll never get to cake cutting on time!) But they somehow figured out the balance between being assertive and warm at the same time. It's a unique combination of traits that very few have, but somehow Ani has made sure that his entire staff have both of those traits! All my friends and family are raving about how professional they were, how organized and how everything was flawless! I would recommend these guys to anyone, anywhere!

Planning an out of town wedding can be daunting, but Ani smoothly guided us through the whole process, including choosing vendors, keeping timelines and budgets, and seamless day of coordination. He did a great job working on our behalf with vendors, and made sure our vision really came to life. He is also very responsive - we were on email with him several times daily, on the phone multiple times a week, and met with him in person 2-3 times. We want to take this opportunity to thank Ace of Events' staff for the excellent services that they provided for my daughter’s Mendhi, Sangeet, Wedding and Reception events. They went out of their way to make all the events effortless, enjoyable and carefree for us. As the event planner their help and guidance in identifying and coordinating all the vendors was such a value, that we cannot even put it into words. They went out of their way to identify all the best sources, such as decorators, caterers, photographers, videographers, lighting, sound and DJs, limo and transportation services, performers, and countless others. Their ability to stay on top of everything in a nice and calm manner is a remarkable quality that is essential for anyone in this business, but they exceeded all our expectations. Working with them was a great experience. We enjoyed all our four events, I can attribute all this to Ani and his assistant Anjali, their pleasant manner of consistently and constantly being available throughout the planning to execution stages created a very calming effect on my wife, myself, as well as the couple being married, when such large and hectic events were going on. We could not have done it without them.

Their team was very professional, courteous, dependable and supportive throughout the entire planning and execution process. We can easily testify that they went far beyond the call of duty. Ani Sandhu and his team were probably the best investment we made for our wedding. They did a tremendous job and were very professional from beginning to end. Even though we hired Ani and his team for the day-of coordination only, him and his team started helping us out 2 months prior to our wedding by contacting our vendors, answering our many questions and making us feel at ease. We met Ani about three times, talked to him on the phone on a weekly basis and communicated with him by email on a daily basis; he was great at communicating with us, responded to our requests very quickly and was professional throughout. Being Indian, our wedding was an all day event, Ani and his team arrived bright and early, had their cool wireless headsets in their ears and started to coordinate the events for the entire day. Everything went very smooth and we had an amazing time celebrating all day long. They really took care of us throughout the entire day and made us feel truly special. At the end of the night, Ani and his team walked us up to our hotel room and even handed us leftover cupcakes to enjoy. I would highly recommend Ace of Event's, Ani and his team are great to work with and will make you feel at ease throughout your day. Job well done guys!

Ace of Events was a life saver in planning our wedding. We hired them to help us in our final month, and from the point they entered to help, they did nothing but go above and beyond to meet our expectations! Ani was incredibly friendly and eager to help make our event run as smoothly as possible. His flexibility in meeting us at our convenience was greatly appreciated since my husband and I had busy work schedules while we were in the midst of all the planning. Finally, on the day of the wedding, my husband and I were able to sit back and enjoy our day. Ani and his staff worked amazingly well with our families to make sure that every detail was taken care of so that we both could take in every moment of the wedding and just relax! Danny and I cannot thank you all enough for everything you have done. From our very first meeting until the very last event was finished, everything was perfect. We wanted to thank you for all your help with my Marriage reception on March 7th 2009 at the Westfield�s Marriott. We feel you did an excellent job!

At first we had no plans to hire anyone to help us out for planning our reception. But as we got involved in the process we realized that it would be better to hire someone to take over the chores of wedding planning, else we know those responsibilities would have fallen on my family and friends. Although my family would have accepted the responsibilities without any hesitation, we know that in the end it would take away their experience from the reception. We did not want that, and we and my family is glad to have found you.

We cannot imagine how we could have pulled off the event without you. Your professionalism and ability to handle all types of situations, your attention to detail, and your excellent organization skills really helped to put together a grand reception without additional a hitch. We think that your sprit and creativity is really needed in this field.

Ace of Events, made our event a lifetime experience. From preparing for the event, working with vendors, handling cost and keeping in budget Ace of Events mainly did it all for us. We were kept stress free.

On the day of the event we did not have any worries from start to finish. All of our coordination was taken care of, everything was within budget, and we did not have to worry about dealing with any vendors.

Ani, we enjoyed every moment of working with you as well as our Wedding night. We had no worries about dealing with the hall or any of the vendors, you did a wonderful job of keeping everything going as it should have, and time wise we were perfect. You gave us a night to remember for the rest of our lives. We thank you and Ace of Events for making our wedding day possible.

Ani and his staff were awesome from the months leading up to the wedding to the wedding weekend itself!
We ended up having a guest list of over 450 with 3 big events spanning over two days. With that many guests and vendors to manage, Ani kept everything so well organized and professional to the T!
