Absolutely Perfect Catering

We believe Absolutely Perfect offers the best balance for wedding catering in the DMV area. I say balance in reference to cost, menu offerings, easiness to work with, etc. Are there other caterers that could beat Absolutely Perfect in one area or another? Probably – but only at the sacrifice of something else on the list. The team at Absolutely Perfect is really on your side to make sure you are informed every step of the way, and avoid these kind of offsets.

We were engaged in 2019, to be married in Fall 2020, but for obvious reasons our wedding didn’t happen until Spring 2022. We had originally planned with a different caterer, but when we tried to change out venue (to one even closer), that caterer tried to double our price for reasons still unexplained. We saw the red flags, got out of that contract, and were initially discouraged that we had to start from scratch again. However, we were so luck to find Absolutely Perfect and how they came to our rescue and absolutely saved our day! The price was comparable to other vendors in the area (including our original). However, the amount of food and VARIETY we received far exceeded our expectations. I swear I walked around on my wedding day and found bonus food I didn’t know we were serving :)
They also provided advice throughout the entire planning process. They were patient when I wanted to ask every question and hammer out all the details. And overall they were beyond helpful for making decisions about alcohol offerings, table setup / floor plans and event flow, and sharing experience about what has worked for previous events. And on the day of I truly felt prioritized, but not smothered, and have heard nothing but positive feedback from our guests as well.
