In this industry good help can be rather easy to find. But “good” is not what I intend to provide to my clients . My team promises EFFORTLESS and APC is one of the only caterer we trust to work alongside us to provide exceptional service to our clients. They truly live up to their name. Absolutely perfect. We had a fantastic experience working with APC! After meeting with a handful of caterers, we had a "that's the one" feeling with APC. We worked with Sarah, who was wonderful. She truly listened while we described our unique event: a "wedding do-over" after getting pandemic married, in the style of an Indian wedding, with a mixed crowd of Indian and non-Indian guests. She then took our vision and helped guide us in selecting the menu, table settings, room layout, and event timetable that would bring our vision to life. At our tasting, Sarah took notes on our feedback, and made sure all the dishes were adjusted exactly how we wanted. We were very happy with the whole planning process!
The APC team really shined on the day of our event - rainy weather forced us to adjust our plans for an outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour. The APC team was wonderful in executing the rain plan - they pivoted so well that none of the guests noticed the change in plans! They also knew exactly who our VIP guests were and paid special attention to them (while also wonderfully caring for all our guests!). After the event, we got lots of compliments from our guests on the food! Highly recommend! -

We had an amazing experience working with APC. Josh and his team truly live up to the name because they were absolutely perfect. From planning our menu, helping with planning our event timeline, and working with our other vendors Josh was super responsive and made our day very special. The team at our event was warm and polite and our friends and family are raving about the food. 10/10 would recommend! -

We had our wedding at the Maryland Zoo in October 2025, and are so glad we went with Absolutely Perfect for our catering vendor. They’re a preferred vendor at the zoo, so they knew the space well and had lots of great ideas and helpful tips. Multiple guests told us it was the best food they’ve had at a wedding. We loved working with Sarah during the planning process and the on-site team was great too - kind, attentive, and part of the celebration! -

We had the most incredible wedding day, and it genuinely wouldn’t have been the same without APC and their exceptional team. Everything came together so beautifully, thanks to their dedication, professionalism, and care.
APC went far beyond providing delicious food. They supported us through every step of the planning and coordination process. From detailed timelines and contact sheets to layouts and logistics, they handled everything with thoughtful organization and clarity. Our senior event designer, Sarah, was especially phenomenal—warm, responsive, detail-oriented, and an absolute pleasure to work with. She gave us clear, practical advice on how to prepare in advance and made the entire process feel manageable and stress-free.
Since my husband and I were juggling a lot during the wedding season, we had to make a few last-minute changes. Sarah handled everything with such grace and professionalism. She was communicative, kind, and incredibly accommodating—always responding with a friendly, can-do attitude that made us feel supported every step of the way.
We received so many compliments about how friendly and attentive the staff were. And the food was absolutely amazing. Guests went back for seconds—and even thirds!

We cannot thank Absolutely Perfect Catering and their incredible team enough — everything was truly absolutely perfect from start to finish.
The food was a huge hit with all of our guests — so delicious and beautifully presented. The cake was not only delicious but also stunning with the floral decorations. A special shoutout to Mirtha, who personally took care of my husband and I throughout the event. She was phenomenal — constantly making sure we had water during photos (I think I chugged three glasses!), and checking in on us with such kindness. Even my mom commented on how well cared for she felt.
From the planning process to the day-of execution, everything was seamless. The team went above and beyond to make our day everything we dreamed of. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Booking a solid caterer for your wedding is one of the most impactful decisions you'll make for your guests, as well as yourself. Booking Absolutely Perfect Catering for our wedding was easily one of the best decisions my husband and I made. The planning was smooth: everyone in the office responded quickly to our questions and they communicated very clearly with us about payment, due dates for important documents, etc. And of course, the food was incredible! Our family and friends raved for days about how amazing the food was; multiple people told us it was some of the best food they ever had at a wedding. They also took great care of my husband and I. Many of our friends who married before us spoke of horror stories of not being able to eat because they were so busy with photos and visiting with family. But APC assigned us a bridal attendant on the big day to make sure we were getting food. They took such great care of us that I was actually full by the time dinner was served. And to top it all off, they made the reception area look gorgeous. I really can't recommend APC enough. -

We met with and sampled food from no less than 6 vendors, but fell in love with Absolutely Perfect. They offered delicious food options and were so prompt in all communications, so professional, and coordinated with the linens and plate chargers I wanted. They made sure my groom and I were well fed and got to sample everything (including all appetizers) despite the chaos of the day and the photo hour with the bridal party. Everything was coordinated well and served on time (beautiful plated meals). Sarah was wonderful to work with! I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for good food with a professional, stress-free vendor! -

APC catered our June '24 wedding at the Chesapeake Bay Foundation in Annapolis and we were thrilled with how it turned out! After meeting with and quoting the preferred vendors our venue listed, we were most impressed with the value, service, and experience APC brought to the table. APC treated us to a complimentary tasting during the interviewing process and paid special attention to my gluten allergy, adjusting their tasting menu items so I could enjoy the food too! Another big plus and cost savings for us is that their bartenders will work with you if you provide your own alcohol which was a lifesaver for our wedding budget. We signed a contract with them a year out from our wedding and they were extremely helpful as we made changes along the way, helped us craft signature drinks, and worked with us to edit our contract down to a comfortable price as we added and altered items (adding a higher cost dessert than originally planned and offering a more cost effective protein option to offset it, removing additional bar setups, etc). Our original event manager moved onto another job a few months out from our wedding date, but the president, Josh, stepped in and carried us through to the wedding seamlessly! Our guests raved about the orange crushes and food and said it was above and beyond the standard wedding fare - the Gouda Mac n' Cheese was the biggest hit! APC was very sensitive to guests with food allergies (we had several) and made sure they were taken care of. They worked extremely well with our wedding coordinator, who was also the venue director, and together they set up a beautiful evening. They brought additional decorations on their own that fit with our theme to display on the beautiful buffet and bar they set up so we didn't need to account for it. They also assigned a personal server to my husband and I to make sure we ate and had enough drinks and water all night long. Overall, APC is a super accommodating team, highly experienced, and serves up delicious food and drinks!!! -

Absolutely Perfect Catering was an outstanding part of our wedding in Annapolis. Working with Josh was easy - he was super communicative and responsive. The food was the best wedding food I've ever had! We had around 130 guests and Absolutely Perfect was able to deliver quality at scale. We received compliments from our friends and family all evening. Also - Josh and team were super attentive to us and our guests. They were very on top of it! -

We were really impressed with Absolutely Perfect from the start. First, their tasting was complimentary (with the biggest portion sizes and best tasting food), when the other two places we went to cost us upwards of $150! Then, Lori did a really great job walking us through the whole process and answering our many questions. Most importantly, they made our wedding fabulous. From the seamless set up, to working with our other vendors, to the incredible service from their very sweet and efficient staff, to the amazing food - they nailed it! At the end of the night, a family member asked who catered the wedding. We replied "Absolutely perfect" and they said "I know it was, that's why I want to know who did it!" It took a couple of rounds of that until they finally got that Absolutely Perfect was the company's name!! :) Really a wonderful company that we are so so pleased we hired for our wedding.

Absolute Perfect Catering truly lives up to their name! Everything was quite literally ABSOLUTELY PERFECT from the planning process all the way through execution! We hired APC as the caterer to support our wedding, and they helped to make it truly an amazing day.
To begin, they were incredibly responsive and helpful with the initial planning phase. Their Senior Event Designer, Sarah, helped to facilitate all the fine details of the reception (including menu items, floor layouts, table seating, and more), and was always very patient with us anytime we’d make short-notice requests to change any of the plans. She also organized the pre-event tasting for us, and allowed us to sample all of the delicious items that we planned to have on our menu.
On the day of the wedding, my bride and I arrived to the venue and found absolutely everything to be perfect. They made the reception venue look stunning and decorated everything to perfection. And the food was DELICIOUS…the cocktail hour, the salad, the main course, and the dessert all were incredible…guests reached out to us days after the wedding to compliment how delicious the food was. On top of all that…all of the staff (waiters, bartenders, cooks, etc.) were all incredibly courteous and professional. The event manager, Heather, went above and beyond to make sure my bride and I were attended to, and made everything run smoothly throughout the evening.
I would unequivocally recommend APC to anyone looking for someone to cater a wedding or event! They truly were absolutely perfect!

APC is a Foodie & Detailed Event DREAM. The menu is extensive and DELICIOUS. My husband is vegan, which is a detail a lot of caterers don't put in the forefront. APC not only put it in the forefront, they called it out every step of the way AND created a vegan meal for our wedding. The office staff was amazing. All communication was timely. All t's were crossed and i's were dotted.
They ensured that we would get the EXACT day that we planned. You can tell that they truly cared about our experience. The staff on site was extremely attentive and very engaging. Our guests were very complementary about the food. We have A LOT of foodie friends, and they were very satisfied. APC ensured not only that the bride and groom were looked after, but also our parents. I cannot rave enough about the service and attention to detail. JUST HIRE THEM! -

We hired Absolutely Perfect Catering for our May 2022 wedding before we even tasted their food, just based on a recommendation from a family friend. We’d reached out to a few caterers on our venue’s list and were immediately impressed with Sarah’s detailed info about APC’s offerings. From our first conversation, we knew we’d be in good hands with APC, and Sarah guided us through the wedding planning process from start to finish.
We appreciated APC’s flexibility as we had to reschedule our initial tasting multiple times and when we ultimately postponed our wedding a year. And how fun it was to finally meet in person to sample the incredible entrees, appetizers and desserts! The crab cakes and short ribs were both excellent, and the only tough part was narrowing down the appetizer selections because everything we sampled was so delicious. At the end of our second meeting where we finalized our menu, event layout and other details, I realized there was nothing left for me to stress about — Sarah and her team had everything under control.
Sarah and Patty (the event manager), in coordination with our other wonderful vendors, truly made our wedding day awesome. We were delighted by the platter of appetizers and signature cocktails awaiting us after the ceremony, and we appreciated how Danielle checked in on us throughout the night to make sure we had a drink in our hands or enough food. The food tasted just like it did during our tastings, and we heard compliments from our guests all night, not only about the food itself but also about how fabulous the event team was.
Thanks Sarah and APC for making our wedding vision come to life, for being so responsive over the last two (!) years and for offering so much great insight throughout the whole planning process!

In the beginning I really just expected a caterer to show up and make food, but Sarah and her team helped with SO much more than that. Josh and his team at APC are the BEST!! There was a problem with our original caterer that meant we had to find a new one with only 3 months until the wedding, which turned out to be a blessing in disguise because we found APC (who were better than our original caterers!). Josh was very understanding about our situation and worked with us to develop an accelerated timeline, get through all the milestones we needed to, and answer our numerous questions. Josh was also extremely responsive every step of the way! All of the food was amazing!! Our guests loved all of the appetizers, entrees, and mini desserts. If you like crab, you must get their crab cakes! The service was also incredible. All of the staff were attentive and respectful. Our "captain" (Mary Ann) was so great! Her and the staff made sure my husband and I got to eat some of the appetizers after photos and before the official start of the reception, served us dinner, and made sure we always had a drink in hand. They also are very reasonably priced! I really cannot recommend APC highly enough! THANK YOU ALL! -

APC is just perfect! They catered our reception at the Cloisters in March. They were the most responsive when we were looking for vendors and easy to communicate. We worked with Lori mostly. She was kind and so accommodating. And the food was SO good. Our guest spoke very highly of the food as well as the staff. The staff was courteous and so attentive to not just my husband and me but to all our guest. Not one thing went wrong. And if it did, I wasn't aware of it! Throughout 2019 and early 2020 we worked closely with Absolutely Perfect Catering to plan our wedding. We had read great reviews of Absolutely Perfect and were not disappointed in any way once we started working with them. Sarah and her team were enthusiastic, fun and extremely proactive in helping us plan our day. Her attention to detail put us at ease that our wedding would happen smoothly and her active suggestions were greatly appreciated as we reviewed plans and selected alternatives. The team worked with us to find creative ways to make our day unique while remaining within our planned budget. We especially enjoyed the food tasting meeting when Absolutely Perfect shared their wide range of delicious offerings.
Unfortunately with the COVID situation, we were unable to have the large wedding that we had planned. We were crushed that we were not able to ultimately have Absolutely Perfect deliver the event that we had planned for so long. In spite of the disappointment of not having our reception, we strongly recommend Absolutely Perfect and would welcome the opportunity to work with them again. -

Our experience was absolutely perfect! We signed a contract with APC pre-COVID and ultimately decided to downsize our wedding and move it from Southern Maryland to Northern Virginia. The change was seamless and APC was incredibly accommodating. In fact, we enjoyed working with them so much that we decided to cancel our original Rehearsal Dinner plans and had them cater our rehearsal instead of going out to a restaurant. Stacy Beales, our event designer, was incredible to work with from start to finish. She was so responsive and on top of every detail. We rented a lot of specialty rentals (tables, chairs, glassware, etc.) and she coordinated every detail for us flawlessly. The on site catering captain, Lisa, was a delight and the catering staff and bartenders were incredible. They were so kind and left our venue (my parent's house) in perfect condition at the end of each night. As for the food - it was DELICIOUS! The filet was definitely the most popular choice and everyone raved about it. It was cooked to perfection. The appetizers were adorable and delicious - we loved the tenderloin blinis, pretzel chicken poppers, and crab cakes! For the rehearsal we did a charcuterie spread and Italian buffet, which were also delicious. Everything was presented beautifully. I can't wait to find a way to use APC again in the future! Absolutely was a preferred caterer of our venues and I am so happy they were! Lori was very responsive and they were able to accommodate some customize menu requests and pricing was very reasonable compared to other caterers I spoke with. They day of the servers were wonderful - attentive and kind, they checked in with me regularly and were happy to help with anything we asked. The food was DELICIOUS! We never got to sample anything prior to the wedding as we live states away so I was a tad nervous about how everything would taste but I need not have worried. The hors d'oeuvres were delicious - guests especially loved the mini cheeseburgers, candied bacon and mini grilled cheese. They also raved about the salad, mac and cheese, pork and chicken/waffles we had for dinner. We also had a hot chocolate bar with dessert that was such a fun touch that many guests enjoyed. Overall it was a wonderful experience working with them and I would highly recommend. -

Everything from planning leading up to execution was done flawlessly. One stop shop for catering and rentals which was perfect for our backyard wedding. The food displays were more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. Not your typical metal sternos for the buffet, food was displayed on warmed stones and just absolutely beautiful, not to mention delicious! All guests raved about how delicious the food was. So lovely to work with!
From the moment I spoke with Lori in sales, I knew we were in good hands. I'd never had an event catered before and was a bit nervous about how it all would go. Lori was such an expert and handled all of my concerns. From menu choices, tent and linen rental and staff, everything was such a breeze. On the day of our dinner, the staff arrived early and immediately started prepping food and setting up the bar. Everyone was so accommodating. Dinner and bar service was wonderful. While looking for a wedding caterer in the beginning stages of our planning (pre-covid), I found APC (Absolutely Perfect Catering) to be the best price and they asked all the right questions from the first phone call. Being a catering manager myself in my career, I knew they were experienced simply after 1 phone call. I am so glad I hired them.
I worked with Stacy the entire time and she was able to help and guide us through the whole process!! During our planing, we would've had our menu tasting, but Covid happened. APC came through and was able to offer a delivery-tasting. They delivered the food pre-cooked and with heating instructions. Even after reheating our menu selections, we were thoroughly impressed with the quality of the food.
Throughout the entire planning process, Stacy with APC was always extremely responsive and informative with details. They were also accommodating when we had a big guest drop because of Covid.
APC worked with us and our budget and allowed us to provide our own alcohol to keep costs lower. We were also able to provide our own wedding cake. APC is able to help arrange tents, vendors, etc if needed. While I arranged my own vendors and tent, they were helpful when it came to last minute changes and updates from my end.
During the day-of the wedding, we had an amazing time and could not have asked for anything to have happened differently. Everything was truly Absolutely Perfect!! The staff was very friendly and attentive and while we were both able to enjoy the day, their great service was noticed. Coming from a catering manager myself, it was very great to see such wonderful staff who were always working and working with a smile. Bartenders were friendly and service staff and manager on duty were excellent as well. The food was great and we're still hearing guests talk about the buffet and how delicious everything was over a few weeks after the wedding.
We will definitely recommend APC to any friends/ family looking for a caterer for any events/weddings and will be a repeat customer if we have any catering needs in the future. -

Surprisingly we did not meet with multiple caterers because after we walked out of Absolutely Perfect Catering's office we were in awe. We knew right then that we wanted to use them because of not only delicious food, but also their attention to detail. They were nothing short of amazing throughout our entire process. Sarah and Kelsey took so many detailed notes about how we wanted our day to go and every single little detail. They were amazing and responsive all the way through the day AFTER the wedding. Their staff was flawless and put together our vision so easily. The day itself was amazing and the food was OUTSTANDING. We got so many compliments on the food choices as well as the staff running the wedding. I would highly recommend Absolutely Perfect Catering to ANYONE. Thanks again APC!!!!!!! -

APC was great to work with to bring our wedding vision to life! Stacy was on top of everything and completely got the idea we were going for. It's a little unnerving to plan so much (DIY centerpieces, table numbers, decors etc) and leave everything with a catering team to carry out - but they were superb! We walked in to the reception about an hour before everything started and were blown away. From the lighting idea we subcontracted for to the layout, it looked better than I could have asked for! Night of - everything went smoothly with the team captain who was just the right amount of attentive to us and were flexible with some on the fly changes. The team made sure my husband and I had a plate of all the apps, dinner first, and an awesome variety of desserts (we did tray passed and it was so worth it!). We were able to save on a few things here and there, which I appreciated about their contract, so we could splurge in other areas. Did I mention the food was incredible?! All around, an excellent choice! -

Not a single complaint, they live up to their name. I hired APC just for service staffing, which was not their norm. To make it worse, I had an issue with a previous company so I hired them just three months out. They were flexible and willing to do what I needed to make my day...perfect. They even were amazing emotional support throughout difficult conversations with my venue. APC feels like family and I'll miss working with them, until next time. -

I was married on June 29th and Absolutely Perfect Catering did an absolutely perfect job! I was blown away, as were all of my guests, at their professionalism, responsiveness, flexibility, overall design ideas, and detail. So many attendees commented on how delicious the food was and how awesome the staff was. Seriously, I was BLOWN away. Sarah came in person and did a phenomenal job, and her assistant Kelsey was always in constant communication whenever I needed either of them. I cannot put into words how fantastic they were-especially when it started to hail right before I walked down the aisle on a covered deck. They scrambled to put down the plastic windows and got everything cleaned up super fast. They seamlessly transitioned to our cocktail hour and reception. If you want to worry about nothing on your wedding day, hire them. -

Although my husband and I throw a lot of parties, the planning of a wedding was overwhelming to me.
Then Leslye and Stacy entered and everything became easy. My husband and I visited their facility and they ran through options (woah! Are there options- pretty much if you can think it, they can do it). We ended up doing our rentals, linens, and catering through them. Our event was beautiful, seamless, and people are still raving that the food was “the best wedding food they’ve ever had”.
Things I would recommend: crush bar! This was a huge hit but any specialty cocktail is fun! The salted Caramel brie was to die for, Gouda Mac and cheese, Brussels sprouts, and a carving station were all crowd winners! We also had a whole pig on the pit which was my personal favorite.
Overall, an amazing experience and I’d do it all again with APC! -

Absolutely Perfect Catering was amazing from start to finish! Sarah my coordinator was so responsive through the entire process and dealt with my million questions, additions and changes with no problems! Up to morning off we had to move around some seats and they handled it with no issue. We have received sooooo many comments on how amazing all the food was especially the crab balls! They made sure continuous hors doeuvers we’re passed during cocktail hour and drinks were never backed up. They set up everything beautifully and made sure we got everything packed at the end of the night. I cannot say enough good things! -

Devin Sent on 09/10/2018We had the pleasure of working with Sarah & Kelsey for our September wedding. We had it at the Howard County Conservancy and the day of the wedding it was pouring down rain. We were supposed to get married outside in the barn but because of the weather APC had to move the ceremony inside. At the LAST minute it stopped raining and the whole team pulled together to move the entire ceremony back outside. It was perfect, everything I could have ever imagined. Better actually. The food was outstanding & we even had our own waitstaff come out and bring us food during cocktail hour as we were taking bridal party/B&G photos. They went above and beyond for us, throughout the entire process. They set up the most beautiful reception for us, I couldn't pick out a single detail from that day that I would have changed. I will, and have already recommend this company to my engaged friends. They are fabulous, worth the money and reasonably priced. -

Elyse Sent on 07/02/2018APC was absolutely perfect. From the first email to the last, Sarah and the rest of the crew at APC made the wedding planning an easy and enjoyable experience. We did a meet and greet tasting before signing with them. The attention to details around what we were looking for including putting books from previous weddings that were done at our venue out for us to get inspiration to adding the crab dip because they knew we wanted to incorporate crab just sold us that this is the company we wanted to work with. Sarah and her team were always quick to answer all my emails and questions even when it had nothing to do with catering. On the day of the event, I had nothing to worry about. They set everything up, had me and my wife set up with drinks and food throughout the night. Our guests rave about how good the food was and the presentation of everything. While the wedding seemed to go by so quickly I will always remember the day and the feelings I had from the very beginning. APC was a big part of making the day and the planning go smoothly. From the very moment I met the staff at APC, I knew they were the caterer for our 11/11/17 wedding. We worked primarily with Leslye, Morgan, and Andrew and they were all the absolute best. APC did the catering, rentals (tables, chairs, linens, etc.), and even provided a day-of coordinator for our wedding. I think I emailed Leslye about a million times the week before the wedding and she was always quick to respond and answer all of my questions.
My husband and I had a Harry Potter themed wedding and these guys ran with it - it was amazing. Down to the finest details, our reception was set up to look like Hogwarts. We made all of the center pieces on the tables ourselves, but APC helped set up and also went above and beyond to provide extra details and decorations that we didn't even know about until the reception (they set up a freaking gargoyle on the hors d'oeuvres table!). We didn't have a wedding cake, so they made us a tower of donuts to sit our cake topper in which we used as a cutting cake. We had mousse shooters for our desserts which were stuck on a wall to look like they were floating and they made Harry Potter themed signs for us. The bartenders and servers they provided were excellent as well - they even made sure we had drinks waiting for us at our table after our entrance! I was blown away by the effort they put in and would recommend them over and over for any event!! -
