My client just got married here, and I was blown away! From the very beginning, Yomaira and her team went above and beyond to make the experience seamless and special for every guest—including those with unique needs or requests. It’s incredibly clear how much they care.

On the wedding day, guests were in awe of the stunning space and could not stop raving about the food—truly the best I’ve ever had at a wedding. And the view? Absolutely breathtaking. It alone makes this venue worth it a thousand times over.

As a vendor, I genuinely loved working with the team. Their professionalism, warmth, and dedication made the experience exceptional. I sincerely hope to be back here again soon!

We really loved the venue! It was a small wedding and the hotel were very flexible. Candidly it’s the nicest hotel I’ve ever seen and if you can get it, you’ll love it!

I had an intimate wedding at Blue Wood Aster. Beautiful venue and helpful and fun staff. Kate was very professional, dependable, and fun to work with, as well we all the other staff.

What I like about the venue
- Great view and interior, modern yet greenery
- Nice dinner course. Guests are able to select the main course on the day
- Everything is on the same floor (ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, bridal suite, guests' bathroom)
- The photogenic locations around the venue

Our experience with the events team was excellent and the venue is gorgeous. The 3 star service review is mostly about the lack of coordination between the events staff and the booking department/front desk. We and a few key family members & guests stayed at the hotel for a few days so we had made some reservations and put in some specific room-related requests through our event planner Kate. Kate was actually extremely helpful overall but for some reason none of our rate agreements or requests were communicated to the front desk. The worst thing that happened (and the reason I’m giving service 3 stars instead of 4) is that we actually got locked out of our suite because our room keys were disabled!! I wanted to change out of my heels, so in the middle of my own wedding I had to step out and go talk to the front desk in order to get into our own room. I love the 1 hotel and their events staff made our wedding very special, but I hope they can figure out a better, more streamlined communication system between their different teams. :)

A ZERO rating! One of the worst experiences in my life.
We hosted an elaborate engagement party for my daughter & future son-in-law, which was over-the-top expensive for the very little amount of food they gave us and the horrific service. We were treated like we were bothering the staff had to hunt them down if we needed anything, etc. Zero professionalism whatsoever. When the party was over, we were quickly kicked out of the lounge. Most of the party left to go home. A small group to include 3 older parents helped the newly engaged couple bring their gifts up to their room & were trying to find places to put them since the room was barely bigger enough for 2 people. It was approximately 8:30 on a Saturday night. Security came banging on the door like we had committed a crime & said a woman on the floor said she heard noise & we had to leave. The disrespect was beyond deplorable. We were escorted down to the lobby where several large bouncer type men and Mercedes the most obnoxious, nasty, rudest, unprofessional woman I have ever encountered in my life were screaming at us that we had to leave the hotel get out of the room that my son-in-law was paying about $2500 for the two nights no explanation other than the woman on the floor heard voices.
We asked to speak to the general manager who outwardly refused to speak with us and said we needed to leave the premises immediately. Both him and Mercedes should be fired. We also asked to see the security footage which they refused to show us. Some of our guests had their own cars and respectfully left. The parents who had taken a limo service had to wait outside in the cold for over an hour for our car service to come early for us baffled as to what just happened. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I think whoever is above the general manager should take a long hard look at the way their establishment is being managed. The only thing they have going for them is the view. Everything else is a zero.
Having had a long career in corporate America, I have never been treated so deplorably & disrespectfully. Our group did not even raise their voices and we all remained respectful only trying to get a clear explanation as to what exactly was going on there and why we were being thrown out when absolutely nothing transpired. I continue to wonder exactly why our group was singled out and treated in such a horrific manner. Hmmm
Instead of a pathetic response to this, I would like somebody from management to contact me personally, but I’m sure that will never happen.
