Wedding colors-what will go with mine?
I have chosen my colors as guava and cocoa for an october 2013 wedding. The MOH's dress is cocoa and the other 4 bridesmaids dresses are guava. Satin, floorlength. I am having trouble deciding what colors will go with these for the flowers and decorations. I am also looking to have silk/fake flowers. Any ideas as to what colors may be a good base to match my chosen colors would be helpful. Im hoping to stay away from a lot of orange even though it will be october, just dont think it will go with a pinkish color and brown. Ive attached a picture of the colors together.
Thanks!!

We used those colors at church before and we put a bright green with the colors.
Other option could be tan. If I think of something else I'll let you know.

Pretty colors. I think soft, fairly neutral hues in the bouquet would compliment nicely and stand out well against your colors.

Thank you Jasmine and Donna. I like both those ideas, i could use some green but a lighter soft hue.
Also, since i wont have to worry about what flowers are in season in October, i have the difficult task of choosing ones that fit the season and wedding.

Desiree, I do like the ivory! Especially since my dress and shoes are ivory.

I was going to say ivory as well. Something soft and neutral.

ivory will be your best choice, if you're determined to get green in there you need to go with a very light, pastel almost ivoryish green as the two colors dont traditionally go together. I like them though they remind me of chocolate covered candy. idk why, i think im hungry.

I was a bridesmaid for my friend, we wore coral bridesmaid dresses. She had chocolate linen. Orangeish/red calla lilly, red roses and some red tropical flowers. It was BEAUTIFUL!! The chocolate linen made the reception looks amazingly romantic. It was a few years back, I don't have any picture to share.

Your color combination is gonna very beautiful. My friend also had her wedding in October.
