Long burning tealights?

BecomingBailey, on May 10, 2016 at 9:17 AM Posted in Style and Décor 0 10

I have some that I'm going to do a trial run on to see how long they go for. But wondering if any of you have any experience with a certain brand that you know won't fizzle out after 3 hours. I'm hoping for 6 at least. And I'd like to avoid buying tons of packages just to try 1 or 2 and find out they suck. Thanks!

Were they just one of the packs of 50ish?

Yummi candles are long lasting and fairly inexpensive. They don't have scent and Since I want a hint of smell I am also mixing in some Yankee Candle Rose scent votives throughout the venue.

I have Amazon Prime so I searched for long-burning tea lights on there. Although honestly I was having so much fun at the reception that I didn't notice at the end of the night if they were still burning or not, haha

Duh I always forget about amazon. We have prime too, I'll check it out. I guess I'm just concerned because they'll be lit prior to the start and probably going for an hour or 2 before people even sit at the tables so I want them to last.

Partylite are the only candles I buy - tealights burn 4 to 6 hours. My experience is they burn closer to 6 hours. They come in a variety of colors/scents or unscented. More pricey than buying a bulk bag from Hobby Lobby or something, but they are good quality candles. IMO worth the extra $.

I did Yummi candles too. You get the candle, glass votive, 72 ct for $20. Shipping is expensive, but it still ends up being cheaper if you need 150+.

Why not go for the battery operated tealights? They will definitely last.

They have 12 hour tea lights that way you don't have to worry about them going out too early

I need probably 100-115 so the battery operated ones might get a little pricey. I'm not opposed to it if I can find them for the right price.
