Signature Drink
My FH and I would love to do a signature drink for our wedding that matches our wedding colors which are blue and silver. We know finding a drink that's silver in color is a no go and would like to do something that's bright blue, like royal blue, but we can't seem to come up with anything other than a Blue Motherf**er and those are too strong of a drink for a cocktail hour. Does anyone have any ideas for a blue, preferably sweet drink that won't put everyone on the floor before dinner starts?

Winter Skyy Cocktail Skyy orange Vodka, blue curacao, and champagne. You could use some sort of silver accent,

Try thebar.com. They have a filter by color.

Maybe a Blue Hawaiian? I don't know how dark you could get it, but it's definitely blue. I think it's a fun and refreshing drink for summertime. Here's a recipe I found to give you an idea
1 oz light rum
1 cherry
2 oz pineapple juice
1 oz Blue Curacao liqueur
1 oz cream of coconut
1 slice pineapple

Good luck!

I was going to say Blue Hawaiian too. I worked as a bartender last summer and we had a blue wedding party want a sig. drink in their color. This is what we used, and we blended it with ice to make it slushy. It was delish!

Oh... also, my cousin had a fruit punch w/ vodka Fountain. That's an idea, too.

Just do a search for drinks made with blue curacao. As a former bartender that is pretty much the only liquor that turns a drink blue :)

If you wanted something other then blue, maybe a bartender could serve blueberry mint juleps?

They are traditionally served in silver cups. Pefect for a hot summer wedding! Yours is a week and a day before mine! (I'll be serving Mojitos and Margaritas.)
Come to think of it, I think they have a blue margarita... don't they?

I decided to copycat a drink that I saw on wedding planner wars where they had cotton candy in a martini glass with the drink being poured over it, the color of the drink will be determined by the color cotton candy. I figured it will be a nice and inexpensive drink.

Thanks so much for your help... we're going to take a look at some of these websites and the drinks on them and go from there. I appreciate the help and the heads up on which one turns your mouth blue... we definitely don't want that! lol
