Buying gifts is a ton of money. I have 10 girls in my wedding and then you add on the gifts for the parents and it really adds up. I am also getting all my girls jewelry and then since we are going to be at the salon all day on my wedding day I am getting them all 15 minute massages for while they wait. Then I got them each two hand panted wine glasses to match their personalities and then I got them each a bottle of their favorite wine. And then just for the MOH I got her a gift card to her favorite restaurant.

I made them tote bags personalized with their names with some girlie neccessities in them. This way they can carry all their items for the big day. Then I made their jewelry for the wedding.

My girls and I are going for our manicures the day before. I am paying for that. Both of them are really hard to buy for so I had a tough time deciding on a gift. I went with gift baskets. I made them up, and in them is about 15 items, perfect to suit each of them. They each got engraved zippo lighters (both smoke), candles, pictures of us together, etc. Both baskets were very personalized and so much fun to put together. If you decide to go this route, I would advise setting a budget. I thought this would save me money, but it ended up costing me more because I was always finding something else "perfect" for each of them to add. I finally had to wrap the baskets up so I would stop spending money!!!

How about personalized bath & body gift sets? you can pick the scent and the color. Top it off with a personalized label.. You can even gift package them in cute trendy favor bags, boxes, purses, chinese take out, and much more

I'm having the same problem. I will be getting the girls their jewelery for the wedding for sure. Other than that I really don't know. If the budget allows I'd like to pay for them to get their hair done or make up done for the wedding but since I haven't found the make-up artist yet that will have to wait!
I like the idea of the tote bags since the girls will need something to carry their wedding day items in anyway.

May I suggest ordering favors as gifts as an inexpensive alternative
Many favors are so elegant and come gift wrapped that you can place a minimum order and use them as gifts.

Also we offer custom made to order cosmetic bags and cell phone pouches at $18 each. Very unique and inexpensive depending on the number of attendants.

Jewlery is always a good gift to get them. My MOH gave us flip flops too to wear at the reception. If you're crafty, you can also make the jewlery too...etsy has some good stuff on the site. I'm making feather and flower hair clips for my girls to wear and also cute little show clips to add a little something to their feet ;)

I got my girls a tote bag in their fav color, used iron on decals to add some flair to it. I also got them their jewelry for the day of the wedding and bath fizzes, lotions, a hankie plus I got them their dresses, which they will get to keep. I'm having a luncheon on the 5th of Sept. and I'm making crab cakes, tomato and mozzarella salad, steamed brocolli and rice w/ green scallions...a special tea and cheese cake for dessert. We are just gonna relax, laugh and spend the afternoon just having fun.

I found tote bags that are personalized with their names on them (12 bucks a piece including shipping) and I'm including a bridesmaid survival kit inside with a poem I think that Libra girl found.. it goes..The Bridesmaid Survival Kit was made just for you, So you can be cared for all the day through. Lotion to keep your hands from getting dry, A packet of tissues in case you should cry. Lip gloss in case your lips should chap, You know this bride is watching your back! Clear nail polish in case you get a run A disposable camera to capture some fun. A nail file to prevent those runs I mentioned before, I want to prepare you for what may be in store. Hairspray to keep your hair in place, A mirror to check out your beautiful face. Band-Aids in case your shoes aren?t feeling okay, Or you can just take them off and dance the night away! Some hugs and kisses for my favorite girls. You are my best friends in the whole wide world. Thank you so much for all you have done, (con't)

I used paint shop and made it look a little fancy and printed them on card stock and got all the items in the poem :)
