Bridal photo session

I was wondering when those photos were to be taken. I have heard that you do it before to give them to your FH on the wedding night and then I heard after you get back from your honeymoon so that way you have already worn your dress for the wedding..... Please help....

This is totally a personal decision for you. In earlier times, the bridal portraits were taken weeks before the wedding to post with the banners in the paper announcing the upcoming wedding (yes, they did use engagement photos for that as well). I've had brides do it afterwards, and some beforehand. You could use it as a run through session with your makeup artist & hair dresser. Do what makes you happy. You will not ruin your dress for your big day because FH will not have seen it. Giving FH on wedding day is up to you. I usually have brides giving FH boudoir photos on wedding day. Godd luck!

I am doing mine on a day that I am doing a hair trial. The only thing is to be careful that it doesn't get dirty before the Big Day! :)

Most of our brides either do a bridal session before their wedding so they can frame the photos to place at the reception AND/OR they do a session with their new hubby after the wedding to have photos of the 2 of them for their home.
