Wedding Vendors in Kamuela

We used Tihati for our June wedding. They were fantastic! We had a 30 minute show for our guests, with dancing, singing and a fire dancer - a mini lauau at our wedding. They were so much fun = great performers! They even got my groom and a few other men on the dance floor (who don't usually dance!) to dance with the dancers. It was awesome! Great entertainment for a wonderful night!

We worked with Big Island Tents for a local fundraiser - and they were FANTASTIC! They are truly dedicated to community - from making memories come true at weddings to supporting local events such as our daughter's hula halau! The staff are so friendly and responsive, the rental equipment and dishware in great condition, and overall just a pleasure to work with! Mahalo you guys!!!!

Eric and Jeannette Rhodes were amazing! They made us feel so comfortable and we can't say enough about what a fabulous team they were for our hair, make up, and photography. We were so very fortunate to be able to do engagement photos, bridal portrait shoot, and our wedding day with them. Our pictures are high fashion, artistic, and simply put- BEAUTIFUL! Muse is THE BEST in the industry (No joke!)... So if you want the best- you need to book with Muse Bride!

The yummiest cakes ever!! We had 3 cakes and everyone of them was gone in a half hour, rave reviews on the Haupia and the carrot cake!! I wish I got one more cake for us to have after the reception!

We had a beautiful ceremony and our guests were blown away by how special Dean made them feel. He made it very easy to be in the moment with a beautiful blend of talk story and blessings in Hawaiian, which he translated as well. Dean was really easy to work with and was a very special part of the big day. He put us at ease and made sure our ceremony was everything we wanted it to be. Many of our guests commented on how wonderful they thought Dean was and how lucky they felt to have experienced his guidance with us. We had a unique ceremony with dual-officiants as we had a long time friend perform the duties as well. They worked beautifully together to create the perfect blend.

We wanted our guests to take a part of Big Island back home with after joining our wedding... And Jane's amazing customized gifts of handmade Kona coffee soap scrub, Hawaiian sea bath salts and her signature Lavender by the Sea foot butter were in perfect travel sizes for our guests. She worked with our budget and short timing and just went above and beyond. We highly recommend her products if you like Hawaiian spirited, parabens/sulfate free, natural conscious body care!

We LOVED our wedding cake and just ate our one year cake topper a couple of weeks ago. :) Thank you so much, Pineapple Bakery, for rocking our world with your incredible cake. Our guests loved it too.

I couldn't recommend Swept Away enough, they are fabulous! A friend had used Swept Away for her wedding and I'm so glad I went with her recommendation! I spoke with Ashely through my booking process who owns the company, she is very professional and was helpful in my negotiations with the hotel (venue). Ashely passed me over to Amber, so Amber was my main contact for the 6 weeks leading up to the wedding. I really enjoyed Amber, she was an absolute pleasure to work with. Amber was so great to work with and her level of organization was impeccable! She thought of things that never would have crossed my mind, it really forced me to get organized prior to the day. I used them for "day of" coordination instead of Full planning, but I wish I had booked them for the full planning package. That's my biggest regret, wedding planning took way more time than I could have imagined. Let's be honest, Amber could have accomplished all that I did on my own in 1/4 the amount of time that I spent making researching vendors & making decisions. She's a professional and knows her stuff! She knows the Hawaiian vendors, has seen tons of weddings in Hawaii and she had great creative & design suggestions. I was also able to rent a number of decorative touches from her that saved me from buying things like baskets, card box, rattan chargers for the tables and that sort of stuff. My wedding day was relatively stress free, It was great to know that I had her keeping all the other vendors organized and getting set up for the big day. Things went wrong at our wedding unexpectedly- there was literally a fire on our dance floor and under the stage our DJ was on because the hotel had a gas leak. Amber and Ashley both kept their cool and helped everyone get re-organized so we could get the DJ music going again. They were relaxed and fun to work with, but they never lost sight of their goals. Couldn't have worked with anyone better, big MAHALO to the girls at Swept Away!

Tropical Dreams Ice Cream provided high quality ice cream for our dessert. They made the ice cream fresh only a day before our wedding. Our guests loved this high quality treat instead of a traditional wedding cake.
