Thomas and Malle made our wedding day memorable! Thomas provided a beautiful heartfelt ceremony and vows, while Malle took incredible pictures of the day that we will cherish forever. They take care of everything, and the location, DT Fleming beach was just beautiful and perfect. They are excellent professionals, and just plain good people. We could not have been more happy with our day.

Malle captured stunning family photos with great detail and a sunset finish

Malle and Thomas were an absolute pleasure to work with for our elopement! They went above and beyond in all aspects to make sure our day was extra special. We planned a sunrise ceremony on a remote part of the Big Island and they were extremely accommodating given that it was on the opposite side of the island from where they live. Thomas was very kind and thoughtful and made the day very intimate for us. He carried out a beautiful ceremony and his attention to detail really made all the difference.
Malle likewise was incredible to work with and exceeded our expectations in all aspects. She took into consideration the types of photos we were looking for and worked hard to capture all the little moments. She was exceptionally generous with her time and the photos she provided were absolutely gorgeous! While there are many choices for officiants and photographers in Hawaii we are so fortunate to have found such a communicative, detail-oriented, and professional pair to work with. The ceremony and photo shoot were better than we could have ever imagined! We highly recommend Thomas and Malle for anyone looking to have an extra special day.

We could not be happier with our decision to have our family professionally photographed by Malle Zablan during our vacation in Hawaii. Malle was delightful and put us right at ease. Our photos were taken during the short sunset window, so Malle moved quickly to capture several different backgrounds and many poses. She was very professional and promptly sent us numerous wonderful photos. I will happily hire Malle again the next time we’re in Hawaii.

Malle makes photo session stress free and fun, and the result is beautiful pictures! She always offered a great location and was especially thoughtful in considering my needs. The gallery is easy to access and the turn around time for our photos was quick. I really love Malle's appreciation for "real life" fun photos in addition to the "perfect shot". She captures memories and I'm so glad we found her!

I am writing to recommend Malle Zablan Photography and Married with Aloha -

I have been remiss to write this review as (now married) life happens apace. On August 6, my beautiful bride and I were married by Married with Aloha at Kukio Beach at sunset. My only ask regarding the wedding were that we be married on a beach, with a Hawaiian minister and a traditional Hawaiian blessing. Lisa found Married with Aloha. I believe the universe gravitates us to people and places meant to be in our lives, usually as a benefit, always for a lesson. In Married with Aloha I found both. These were some of the kindest, calmest (no easy job at a wedding), most professional people I have dealt with. For moments up front they were herding cats, calmly giving much needed direct direction to a small, but staggard party. We were late (don’t ask), we forgot the rings, twice (definitely don’t ask), and they patiently waited and directed traffic setting everything up. Including a very sweaty groom sprinting down the beach with the ring (which they caught on camera).

Settling in and helping the groom dry off, the photos started. We were positioned individually, paired as a couple, wedding party paired and grouped off for before shots. We were lucky enough to have a brief rain (a blessing in Hawaii) that misted us, without dampening a single soul (or hair/makeup). Also, two turtles decided to make our wedding their bed. They were quickly incorporated into the shots by Malle. My wife was beside herself, happy as she could possibly be with this development. Malle could tell, and got some amazing shots of Lisa - full wedding dress - and the turtle.

As sunset approached the ceremony began. Starting in a traditional Hawaiian blessing I requested, the wedding took a traditional turn where all involved could resolve our pairing comfortably. We wrote our own vows and were given time and space to read them into the service. We are agnostic universalists. We were asked if a short Christian prayer could be added. We answered “Of course!” How anyone channels the infinite for you, as a positive, as a strengthening of a bond is more than welcome. A brief prayer was said, and the ceremony moved on to rings, followed by me kissing my loving bride (captured beautifully). Somehow, I made it with limited tears, but the few were captured by Malle with grace and dignity for a 6’1 230lb Jiu Jitsu martial artist. My wife is naturally beautiful, but strong, and Malle captured her strength and elegance both. The sunset was incorporated beautifully during the ceremony (and after). The group was photographed incredibly well. You can feel the focused happiness through the medium.

We have all drudged through the after the wedding photo time of friends and family. This was not the case with Malle Zablan Photography. While she took her time with us, taking more pictures solo, together, with the now ending sunset, with the turtles, her European side came out and she (graciously) marched us from one shot to the next. Unhurried, but directly. Ending in group shots for all, then an ask if anyone wanted shots of their group family. By the end, the only difficult part of the day was starting, which again, both companies made a negligible, stress reduced, small part, put in perspective. The service was amazing beginning to end, and the photography shows it. I have rarely met a team so focused, passionate for their clients and personably professional. Rarely.

We are still awaiting video (no easy task), but, given all, I know it will be amazing, I highly recommend adding. I am ordering a ton of these pictures for our home, for our families and our friends early December. I waited until I had a large order I could put together at once (and an easy cheat Christmas present). In these pictures, I see love, captured wholly. I see the elegance of an amazing ceremony captured beautifully. I see nature interwoven wonderfully (in the truest definition of wonder). I see joy in every face, helped both by Married with Aloha and Malle Zablan Photography.

There are not enough superlatives for these two companies. Of 5 stars, I give them 10/5. I cannot recommend them highly enough. They are both so much more than “You will not be disappointed.” You will be incredulous. Wonderful. Brilliant. Caring. Present. Thank you so very much.

We loved our beach photo shoot! Malle was easy to work with, she was able to schedule our shoot promptly, she was early and so friendly! We had her select the beach and the time and it turned out gorgeous. She was able to give us advice with poses and what to wear if you'd like. We had a great time; she was fun and professional. Highly recommend!

Malle Zablan did an excellent job of capturing our special day. She and her husband work together to get that perfect shot. The candid photos they took of our family and friends spoke volumes when we got to view them.
