I offer four wedding photography packages for celebrations of all sizes, from intimate elopements and micro weddings to half day and full wedding day coverage. Each includes a curated collection of fully edited photographs delivered through a private online gallery, with coverage options designed to fit the story you want captured. If my existing packages don't quite fit what you're planning, custom packages are also available so we can create coverage around your day and what matters most to you. I'm Portia, the photographer behind Portia Elena Photography, and I create warm, romantic, slightly nostalgic imagery that feels timeless while still being a reflection of who you are together. I believe the best photographs happen when you stop thinking about the camera and start being fully present with the person you love. My job is to help you get there. My approach comes from a lifelong background in movement and creativity. I've been a dancer for over two decades and spent years performing on stage, which taught me to notice the little things, body language, movement, emotion, light, and the moments between the planned ones. I understand how people carry tension, how they move naturally, and how they open up when they feel comfortable. That experience shapes the way I photograph every couple. One of my biggest beliefs is that I see you before you see yourself. Photography, to me, isn't about forcing you into perfect poses or asking you to perform for the camera. It's about creating a space where you can relax, connect, laugh, move, and simply be together. I'll guide you when you need it, so you never have to wonder what to do with your hands or whether you're "good at pictures." But I'm always watching for what happens in between, the look you give each other when no one is watching, the nervous excitement before the ceremony, a hand reaching for another, the wind catching a veil, or the laughter when a pose falls apart. Living on the Big Island, I'm inspired by the landscapes around us, from quiet beaches and open fields to dramatic coastlines and mountains. I love incorporating the beauty of Hawai'i without letting the scenery overpower the most important part of the story: the two of you.
