We love The River Plantation and Tiffany! It was our dream venue and everything was amazing! From the first interaction, Tiffany was nothing short of professional, friendly and extremly helpful! We loved the venue but working with her made the entire experience top notch! She responded to emails or phone calls in what seemed like minutes and made us feel like we were the only wedding she was working on everytime we spoke. I can not say enough about how easy she made everything for us!
My husband and I and our families stayed at the Manor House for the weekend of our wedding and then had the reception at Hunter's Oak. We were catered to from the moment we stepped on the property Friday until Sunday afternoon when we left! Ann, the housekeeper at The Manor House, went out of her way at every opportunity to make us feel relaxed and taken care of. She was a fabulous addition to our weekend!
Our ceremony was incredible and luckily the weather held out. There was a chance of rain that day and so Tiffany had a tent set up on the property of the Manor House in case the showers began. I am glad we didn't need it, but to know that she had everything covered just in case speaks to her effort to make everything as perfect as can be.
Our reception at Hunter's Oak was incredible. Food was spectacular, service was wonderful and guests couldn't stop talking about it then and now. My mother has received a multitude of phone calls from guests thanking them and raving about the entire wedding. Tiffany and The River Plantation made our wedding weekend spectacular! We are blown away with how amazing our wedding was!

My wedding was absolutely PERFECT! The staff at the River Plantation worked with my fiance and I to create a wedding weekend that truely represented who we were. We (my fiance, our immediate families, and I) stayed at the Plantation House for the entire weekend. The Plantation staff served everyone breakfast in the morning and helped with the entire wedding process. All staff members worked very hard to ensure that our weekend was exactly as we pictured it. Tiffany, our wedding coordinator, went above and beyond to make sure each detail was attended to. The food was amazing and each guest complimented the beautiful site. I would strongly recommend this venue to everyone!!! (especially if you or your fiance like to hunt, fish, golf, or shop at the outlets).

We loved our wedding. Tiffany Porter did a fantastic job making sure everything went according to plan. Shane and I didn't have to worry about anything. Hunter's Oak should really appreciate having her on their staff. She is one of a kind.The only thing we missed was the cocktail hour food. We wish we each had gotten a small plate.
Everything we questioned and asked about was taken care of; even planting flowers in the flower pots the week of the wedding. Our guests had a wonderful time and most said it was the best wedding they had ever been to.

We recently had our reception at Hunter's Oak. We could not have been more pleased. Forget hiring a wedding planner, their staff handles EVERYTHING! The reception went beyond my expectations. The food was only rivaled by the atmosphere. Our guests complimented that they felt they were in a five star restaurant. Forget the cut and paste wedding venues, the River Plantation allows you to essentially customize your wedding. Pick and choose what you want from their array of capabilities. Their responsiveness was uncannying. Emails were always promptly returned and worries were always calmed in minutes. I couldn't have envisioned a better day and I couldn't have envisioned it anywhere but Hunter's Oak!

Tiffany Porter was great - a fantastic help with all of the details, and was very responsive to each and every phone call and e-mail throughout the process. If she thought there was a better way to do something than what I had planned, she suggested it and I gladly took her advice since she's the professional on these matters. No complaints at all - she was a joy and a big help on our big day and leading up to it.

Our wedding was simply amazing at Pintail Point. In spite of a disastrous thunderstorm that occured an hour before the reception, everything was perfect! Most of our guests didn't even know the reception was actually supposed to be outside under the tent (which was flooded) instead of inside the manor house. What a professional group of people...they are true pros! We highly recommend Pintail Point....or any of the River Plantation venues for any event!!

We had the most horrible experience with this place. They were incredibly difficult to deal with, said no to almost everything (including things they originally said would be no problem), and didn't want to do anything. The wedding cordinator on site (Grace) is very rude and the catering manager is unknowledgeable. If you choose to deal with this place (at your own risk), use the manor house because Rene is the only helpful person there. It is kind of pretty, if you can ignore the hunting theme they have going on. I was told they would hide the pro shop when you walk into the welcome center and of course they didn't.They weren't ready to cut and serve the cake to our guests after we did the first cut. Our DJ had to make an announcement to get them prepared. Do not use this place or you will be full of regrets!!!

I loved the River Plantation and although it is a bit $$$$, you do get what you pay for. The service was 5 star and my day was perfect, in no small part to their service!
