Liriodendron is a historic Bel Air, Maryland mansion that provides a gorgeous and unique setting as your wedding venue. Timeless architecture provides an elegant, glamorous setting, yet our mansion has a warm, intimate atmosphere, all in a serene wooded setting. All wedding parties have use of the interior mansion rooms and our lovely outdoor spaces, offering options for your ceremony and dining.

Couples may host up to 120 wedding guests. You will have many beautiful places to take pictures, inside and outside. And our grand staircase gives you a glamorous entrance to your ceremony or reception.

This historic venue was once the home and estate of Dr. Howard Kelly and his wife, Laetitia. Dr. Kelly was a prominent surgeon and one of the four founders of the Johns Hopkins Medical College. The beautiful building showcases 19th-century architecture, with stuccoed bricks and white pillars. The grounds feature beautiful liriodendrons (the scientific name for the tulip poplar), which is where the venue gets its name. The stunning grounds will be yours on your big day, offering almost unlimited customization possibilities. The experienced events team will work with you closely to ensure your vision is met as you tie the knot.
