Brittland Manor
A striking Georgian-style mansion, Brittland Manor makes an unforgettable first impression as you travel up its long, picturesque driveway. Surrounded by lush lawns and towering trees, the manor’s elegant red-brick exterior sets the tone for a weekend of sophistication and charm. Outside the property offers endless versatility: say “I do” with waterfront views, sip cocktails by the manicured gardens and sparkling pool, and dance the night away on the expansive brick patio, perfectly designed to accommodate up to six different sized tents for your reception. With space for up to 400 guests, Brittland Manor is ideal for both intimate gatherings and grand celebrations. The property also includes a Lodge for additional accommodations and a spacious waterfront yard, perfect for rehearsal dinners and welcome parties. Every detail at Brittland Manor comes together to create an idyllic backdrop for your wedding weekend.
Stepne Manor
Nestled among scenic farm fields yet just minutes from historic Chestertown, Stepne Manor blends rural beauty with timeless charm. Its welcoming front porch overlooks sweeping lawns, while its cultivated exterior exudes sophistication. Couples can exchange vows in a picturesque outdoor ceremony, enjoy cocktails by the house surrounded by colorful flower beds, and then step into a beautifully tented reception space designed by you to make the evening unforgettable. With a capacity of up to 250 guests, Stepne Manor offers an intimate yet elegant setting for a wedding that feels both refined and warmly inviting.
Services Offered
You have the freedom to choose all your own vendors (with the exception of the rental company). To make planning easier, we also provide a vendor resource page as a helpful guide. On-site lodging is available, complete with comfortable get-ready rooms for the wedding party. With Brittland Manor a comfort station is provided for guests during the event to ensure convenience throughout the celebration.
Accommodation
Together, Brittland Manor and Lodge can accommodate up to 41 overnight guests, featuring 15 bedrooms and 11 bathrooms. With spacious and comfortable lodging, your wedding party and family can relax, celebrate, and truly make the estate feel like home for the weekend. For a more intimate setting, Stepne Manor offers overnight accommodations for up to 15 guests, with 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms—perfect for close family and friends to enjoy a cozy stay surrounded by the property’s scenic beauty.

Update: Britland Manor truly was the perfect venue for our wedding. We were so lucky to have such beautiful weather on June 10th. We had our ceremony in the garden which was in full bloom and gorgeous. The garden is so beautiful the only flowers we ordered were white rose petals to line the aisle which looked simply classic and romantic. 174 people easily fit in to the garden space as well.
Cocktail hour around the pool was just beautiful as well. We had some cocktail tables set up and two short round tables with chairs. They also have their own furniture around the pool for extra seating which was perfect. The caretaker keeps the pool and entire venue so clean and beautiful. He is also very friendly and is there for anything you may need.
The brick patio with views of the Chester River and the entire property was just gorgeous. We could not have asked for a better location to get married and celebrate the beginning of our new life together.
The manor house was so amazing to stay in and the river house was loved by our friends in the bridal party. There is one review that says the walls are very thin but I did not find this to be a problem at all. I could say maybe because my family isn't loud and doesn't know how to party but that would be such a lie. So maybe we sleep hard. Regardless, noise was not an issue for us what so ever. There was truly nothing better than to be with our closest family and friends for an entire weekend at this beautiful location. We live on the Eastern Shore as well so my husband brought our boat up as well as some other family. We utilized the beach, the pool, and that great patio the entire weekend. I can't say enough about Britland Manor. Take us back!!!

Brittland Estates is a gorgeous location!!! I love that it completely transforms for the couples that choose to have their weddings there!! It can be dressed up to be swanky elegant or dressed down to be DIY fabulous!! It is a great option for an Eastern Shore destination because guests can stay on the property for the whole weekend!! It has all the elements that photographers dream about - Gorgeous Interiors, great light, waterfront location, corn fields, romantic old trees, a historic building, and a place where guests will always feel welcome and at home. I look forward to more weddings there in the future !
This is an absolutely beautiful venue that we have had the pleasure of working at. The grounds are amazing with endless photo possibilities. We cannot say enough about their outstanding staff. If you are looking for a truly unique place to have your wedding then check them out. You will not be disappointed.
