Kingsbay Mansion is a Georgian waterfront estate located in Marion Station, Maryland, on the eastern shore. This venue is gated, elegant, and one of a kind. It is the largest private home in Somerset County. The entire estate sits on thirty acres of waterfront land and is available for private events and destination weddings. This space also doubles as a Boutique Executive Hotel and vacation rental property. The elegant yet unique waterfront venue has earned it’s name, “The Jewel of the Chesapeake Bay.”
Facilities And Capacity
Kingsbay Mansion is the waterfront location of your dreams. With over ten event spaces, this venue can accommodate 250+ guests in a tented waterfront weddiing. There’s 4000 feet of protected shoreline. You can hold your ceremony and reception inside or outside. Think of a gorgeous evening outdoors overlooking the Chesapeake Bay or an intimate affair inside the walls of this luxurious estate.
Services Offered
Kingsbay offers a variety of wedding events that include impressive wedding ceremonies, and receptions, to formal and informal reheasal dinners. We offer a Two-Day Grand Weekend Wedding Event, as well as, an intitmate Grand Winter wedding in the Crystal Ballroom for 50 guests and a single day wedding. Event planning is taken care of with the in-house team of wedding professionals coordinating every detail from tent, tables, chairs to decor. Tent Vendors must be contracted through Kingsbay Mansion. Guest count of 100 or more requires a luxury protible Executive Restroom Trailer for outdoor weddings. All transportation vechicles, buses, limos, golf carts and boats must be booked through Kingsbay Mansion. We provide a custom quote for each event.
Accommodations
You and your bridal party and family can rent Kingsbay Mansion for the weekend and enjoy it together. There are luxary suites to choose from. Each suite is equipped with a private ensuite bathroom(s). Choose from The Royal, The Regal, The Premier, The Ambassador, The Diplomat, The West Wing, or The Cottage. We have to other five bedroom houses on the creek that overlooks Kingsbay Mansion and are optional to rent with a two day minimum stay.
History
Kingsbay Mansion was built in the style of Colonial Williamsburg design by Ian McCallum, the official architect of Colonial Williamsburg.

First and foremost, the venue and setting is absolutely breathtaking and it is all around 1000 times better in person which almost never happens.
I cannot express how magical our wedding day was at this incredible Maryland waterfront venue! From the moment we first visited, it exceeded our expectations in every way. Not only were we and our entire wedding party able to stay the night, but our families rented the houses across the water, which made it as close to a destination wedding as possible without getting on an airplane.
The venue is nestled right on the water, and the panoramic views of the bay are nothing short of stunning. Our guests were treated to a picturesque sunset that painted the sky with hues of orange and pink, making for the most romantic backdrop imaginable.
