Do not even try! Horrible! Horrible! Horrible! We paid our deposit and then 41 days before our wedding find out that he doesn't officiate weddings anymore and when I try to contact him none of the phone numbers work, his website doesn't work, and finally he messages me and refers me to his attorney and threatens to get me in trouble for harassment. Really who does that? I still don't know if I will see my deposit but now I have to find a replacement. I'm working to get his name taken off all these websites. STAY AWAY!

Reverend Myers is a scam. He took our deposit right before Christmas for our wedding set to take place 9/2013. Please note the wedding date I entered above says 2/1/2013 because the website would not let me enter a review for future dated services for an Officiant. The deposit was for premarital counseling sessions and wedding services for the rehearsal and our wedding day.

After trying to get in contact with him multiple times, I come to find out his two cell phone numbers, office number and both websites have been disconnected and he moved out of his office with no warning. He also would not return any emails.

THIS IS A SCAM, stay away.

Reverend Myers - you should be ashamed of yourself.

We really liked Jim from the first time we met him. We thought we made a good choice. After we made the commitment for him to perform our wedding, things went down hill. He failed to meet any of the deadlines he set for himself. He claimed he had computer problems. sick colleague, more computer problems, etc. All excuses were given after we had to track him down to found out why we haven't heard from him. We had to completely re-write the generic (NON personalized) wedding ceremony that was quickly slapped together last minute. I had to confirm our rehearsal with him on multiple occasions and each time was like he was hearing it for the first time. And to top it off, 5 minutes before I was to walk down the aisle, I find out that he failed to show up. We have not heard from him since, no call - no explanation. Luckily a replacement was sent so we were able to marry that day. We feel very disappointed that we believed all the things he told us.

From the moment we met with Rev. Jim, we knew he was the officiant for us. He made us feel so relaxed and we felt at ease right away. He listened to what we wanted and got to know us. He was wonderful to work with. I am so glad that I found him because he helped make our day very special.

From the moment we talked with him on phone he was kind, polite, and courteous! We met with him once in person and he gave us workbooks to help us guide ourselves to writing our own ceremony. If we had any questions all we had to do was call him and if he didn't answer we left a message and he got back to us within the hour!!! He definitely helped us tailor our ceremony so it was memorable!! (Friends and Family are still talking about 2 years later) In fact my sister who is getting married in June 2013 had asked Rev. Jim Myers to be her officiant!!! One other thing I think is pretty neat is every Christmas since we have been married he sends out a Christmas Card with little notes in it...very personable!!

Rev. Jim was very polite and courteous from the moment we spoke to him on the phone until after the ceremony. He worked with us from the beginning to make our day very special for us. It was a pleasure having someone so professional but relaxed to help us.
