With many years of wedding industry experience, Reverend Derek is dedicated to crafting affordable ceremonies uniquely tailored to what each couple finds meaningful.
Services Offered
World of Wisdom Ministry facilitates wedding ceremonies, rehearsals, vow renewals, and civil unions for couples of all faiths and backgrounds. A complimentary in-person meeting is always provided to discuss Reverend Derek’s ceremony planning process and your particular wedding vision. Once booked, Reverend Derek endeavors to make the crafting of your ceremony a collaborative process to ensure your wedding is fully reflective of your relationship, beliefs, and traditions. Ceremonies can be as simple or elaborate as you'd like. He will provide you with an exact copy of the text of your ceremony well ahead of your wedding to ensure he has your full approval. Reverend Derek will also handle all of your marriage licensing needs and finalize any paperwork.
Derek offers many classes and workshops such as: Relationship Enhancement Counseling, Relationship Communication Skills and Accessing Inner Wisdom Counseling. I also facilitate Baptisms.

The Best wedding officiant we could have asked for!

We had such a wonderful experience working with Derek as our officiant! He was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process, and communication with him was always easy and prompt. We really appreciated how collaborative the ceremony creation process was and how he took the time to make sure the ceremony felt personal to us.

Perfect Officiant
We had the Honor of having Derek Dube as our officiant and he was nothing but perfect. We were able to customize our ceremony the way we wanted and he had lots of templates available to help guide the process. He also sent us reminders and information throughout the months leading up to our wedding. He also made our rehearsal dinner and made that process way easier as well. We very much recommend.

Highly Recommend Derek!
If you’re looking for a calm, reassuring, supportive officiant that will help you create the perfect ceremony, look no further than Derek! Choosing an officiant was something my husband and I felt very unsure about. How do you choose someone to lead you through the most important moment of your life? When we found Derek’s business page online the reviews were glowing, and he ended up being the first and only officiant we met with. At our introduction meeting Derek spent about an hour getting to know us, hearing about our lives and how we met. It felt more like chatting with a family friend than a business meeting. In the months leading up to our wedding Derek’s communication was extremely thorough. He gave us so many great options and tips to help us create the perfect ceremony. When it came to our rehearsal Derek made our whole party feel comfortable and kept everything organized. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect, and Derek played a big part in that, including giving both of us (bride & groom) a kind and reassuring pep talk before the ceremony. Our ceremony was everything we could have imagined and more, and our friends and families had so many positive things to say about Derek afterwards. We could not be happier with our experience and highly recommend Derek!

Resources and Reflection
Derek was outstanding in helping us create a personalized wedding ceremony. He shared many ceremony resources. As we determined the best options for our ceremony, he helped us better reflect on which options represent us as a couple. Derek was very responsive to our questions and welcomed opportunities to meet face-to-face to discuss ceremony details. I highly recommend Derek as a wedding officiant.

Couldn’t be happier!
Derek worked with us to make our wedding ceremony personal, beautiful and just right for us! After working with Derek throughout our wedding planning process and through our sessions in his Relationship Enhancement course, my husband and I both agree Derek feels more like a friend than just an officiant. We feel very equipped to start a healthy marriage after the tips we learned in the course, Derek is a great listener and really invests himself in the couples he works with. We felt completely at ease about our ceremony with him by our side!
