We originally had Barb booked for September this year and decided to bring our wedding closer and get married in March. Barb was very flexible and didn't hesitate to work with us. About 3mos Prior to our wedding when I realized our personal friend who was going to do our service wouldn't work due to logistics; I started scrambling to look for a new officiant. That's when I found and liked Barbs profile on Thumbtack. I emailed her through Thumbtack where Luckily and very thankfully she let me know she was available even on this short notice. We set up a phone meeting and we spoke with her about the wedding plans, location, amt. Of guests and what kind of service we were looking for. During our 1st conversation she really seemed to get us as a couple and new exactly what we were wanting in our ceremony. Barb emailed us the contract and 3 or 4 ceremony readings that she thought we would like. We signed the contract, chose one of the readings and emailed it back. We also paid a very reasonable fee via online. Everything was done very professional and efficient.

On the day of the wedding she arrived to the venue a few minutes early and we started the ceremony shortly after. All of our guests said Barb did an excellent job
Our guests also felt that the ceremony was spot on perfect for us. If anyone needs an officiant contact Barb and I promise you that you will be glad you did.

Barbara was great, the ceremony short and sweet with her own humor to keep it light! She sent us scrips we were able to choose from and responded to any questions we had.
She also made the drive through freezing rain storm on 02/22.

Barb gave us options to choose from for tge ceremony and did exactly what we asked her to.

The ordained minister was nice. However I felt like my ceremony was not taken seriously! I chose the Christian scripture and it felt like it was made fun of the whole time! I really wanted it to be taken serious but she kept making jokes the whole time and everything was very rushed where she had to correct herself and re-read a couple of times. My now husband and I were very nervous and kept making faces to each other and we whispered something to each other where she proceeded and said " well I know where this marriage is going! Straight to the comedy house!"
