I found my dream dress here and I had the best service!! Maria is amazing! She was very patient and worked around my schedule! She did all of the alterations and fittings herself and really made me feel like my dress was as important to her as it was to me!

While they did locate the gown I wanted and did ordered it for me, I did have a lot of hoops to jump through. At fist they tried to tell me the gown I wanted was no longer being sold. Which I found out was not true. When I would call to check on things it would take a couple of weeks before they would give me answers. Some of their prices are WAY to high. I was quoted one price for alterations and when the dress got here finally, I was told it would be over $200 more than what I was quoted. That upset me. However, Rosa was nice. Once they realized I wasn't going to go for any other gown other than the one I wanted, (plus they are a distriubter for that gown company) they did locate it and ordered it. I just had to push for it.

Where do I start? I shopped around all over Houston for THE dress. I went to the best of the best and was treated like a freaking queen. I don't live far from Panache and I thought, why not...I might find something there. I found a few dresses I thought might look good on me. I had no one helping me at first. Then, I was told that the big sizes were inside of fitting room. They didnt' have much but I knew I wasn't a plus size, if anything they made me feel horrible. I remember trying one dress on and saying I wanted something similar....the lady that was helping me by this time told me that she had just the dress. She went into the back and supposedly pulled out a dress still in a box. I tried it on and that was THE DRESS. I had my mom and mother-in-law check it out....they loved it. They both complained about the service but they loved the dress and the price. I bought the dress, vail, head piece, and bridesmaid dresses with them. My dress was turning yellow by the time of the wedding. My vail was as well, from what I understand...they colored the dress and veil in tea bags to make it look off white/ivory. The head piece cost me $100 and every time you would handle the thing, beads would fall off. My friend and I drove to Harwin and found the same head piece for $7. What a freaking rip off. My bridesmaids had issues with Panache when it came to their dresses and their payments.
All in all, the worst place to buy a dress. Maybe they should stick to prom dresses! I do not recommend to a bride...maybe a senior in high school or a quincanera but never to a bride.

Rosa is what saves this place--- she is a completely awesome seamstress & is worth putting up with the roundaround that you may get from the other people that work there

We ordered my daughter's gown from Sweetie in June 2008. Then Ike hit and Panache was flooded. Sweetie assured me that her dress would come in the middle of December and it did. Alittle stressful, waiting for it, but everything worked out great. The new remodel is wonderful. Rosa is wonderful. Kristen could probably turn sideways in the gown when it came in, but Rosa had it fitting like a glove by the time her wedding day came. It was strapless and it stayed put all night long. She was beautiful in it. I would recommend Panache(and have) to family and friends. They have a great selection in many sizes and can order anything.

i was loving some Panache!!!!! well I was on a major budget and they went in and really worked with me they gave me a $700.00 dress for $250 flat which was wonderful...and it was absolutley wonderful...Had one run in with the seamstress Rosa...she's not too friendly. Joanne was holding my dress because I had one more apt. and wanted to make sure I didn't find anything else and when I came back Joanne was at lunch and my dress was st the counter and Rosa didn't want to sell me the dress for what Joanne and I had agreed apon...even though she was standing right there when she told me what she would give it to me for....And I was so mad and she made me stand there for like 15 minutes wanting me to wait fo Joanne to come back so I finally was like forget this and then her snobby butt decided to let me have it for the $250.00 once I threatened to leave and not buy anything there....but I was happy with the dress.

Rosa, the seamstress at Panache is golden. She is awesome! I love her so much. I do not live in Houston and she was able to get my fittings done on two visits. I got married on August 2 and my first fitting was June 21 when I was in town for my bridal shower. My next fitting was July 29 when I arrived for my wedding, she knew exactly what she was doing and she was very patient and gentle with everything. She steamed my dress and veil. The owner and other ladies that work at Panache are wonderful as well, the salon is located on FM 1960 but it is worth it. If they don't have it, they can get it for you. I highly recommend this shop for all of your formal needs.

I would not recommend this bridal shop. I bought my wedding dress there as well as my bridesmaids dresses. The dresses I ordered for the bridesmaids were not the one's that came in and they wouldn't get the dresses i ordered nor would they refund my money for the incorrect dresses that came in. They were not willing to work with me at all when it was they're fault that I got the wrong dresses.

panache is very affordable, but their service is awful. my alterations came out horrible. i had to take my dress the week of my wedding to ana hulan at brickhouse bridal to do my alterations and she did an amazing job. i bought my dress off the rack and they cleaned it for me which was awesome, but once i started my alterations with panache it was awful. i would not recommend this place to anyone.
