At this point we have only seen a few photos and they are great!
Plus Lisa and her assistant were wonderful company on our wedding day.
My expectation is to receive the photos in 2 months. She isn't the quickest with email, but I'd rather her keep taking beautiful photos!

Lisa does amazing work! I haven't even seen our wedding pictures yet, but she did our engagement session and the pictures were absolutely amazing. We had her drive 5 hours from Grand Rapids to Columbus because she's just so talented! What I love about the photos are they aren't your typical "wedding" type of photos. She scopes great spots for shots and we didn't want anything truly traditional; we wanted pictures that everyone will find interesting and of course capture the moments. I'm so excited with anticipation for the wedding day photos!

Do NOT use Lisa Kae Photography. She was completely unresponsive to calls or emails both before and after our wedding, which in a customer service industry, is just unacceptable. She also flat out lied to my husband and I multiple times when requesting the whereabouts of our wedding slideshow DVD, which we did not receive until 15 months after our wedding. We did not receive our wedding pictures until 6 months after our wedding, and when we asked her for the status she had countless "my dog at my homework" type excuses why there was a delay. When we did receive the pictures many of our most important pictures, such as first dance, where not usable due to a glare from her lighting equipment. Even an amateur photographer should have caught this mistake and adjusted her position accordingly. I would never recommend Lisa to anyone and recommend brides due their research on her through wedding websites and the better business bureau, of which she has an "F" rating, before choosing her; I wish I had.

We came across Lisa through a family friend that she had done some beautiful work for, and we were excited to have her as a photographer. However, leading up the wedding she was very difficult to get a hold of, not returning calls or emails, and we were worried she wasn't going to show up. She did eventually contact us and was at the wedding, however she did not take all the pictures we asked, and it was FOUR MONTHS after the wedding before we heard from her or saw a single shot of our wedding. It took another EIGHT MONTHS to get our album, we received it the week before our one year anniversary. She took great pictures, however we were disappointed in the lack of professionalism in her communication, the stress she caused as our most important vendor and the poor quality of the album layout.

Unfortunately, our experience didn't start out exactly as planned.... As our first round of engagement pictures ended up getting "lost" - we didn't find this out until around the time we were supposed to receive our proofs back and were only notified after we had contacted Lisa asking about when we would get the proofs. It was unfortunate, not only because the pictures were lost but also because we had traveled back home to have them done and were not able to do so again (at our alma mater and where we met). She did go out of her way and flew to where we lived (as we were located in another state) and retook our pictures and got our proofs to us in a very timely manner. The engagement pictures did turn out incredible. And were had them in time to print save-the-dates before the holidays, etc.

Lisa was responsive before and up to the wedding. She was very professional the wedding day and was where we needed her to be, when we needed her to be there and was pleasant to work with. We very much appreciated her time in seeking out places in the city of our wedding for unique spots / photo opportunities before hand and having them mapped out / prepared for that day. It would have been nice if she and her assisant could have stayed a little longer at the reception...

Our wedding pictures turned out absolutely GORGEOUS. The day was beautiful and Lisa and her assistant did a wonderful job of capturing the beauty of our wedding day and night. We absolutely loved the finished proofs / slideshow product and did receive them when she said that we would.

Unfortunately, we are STILL waiting on our wedding album. We have had significant challenges in getting in contact with Lisa regarding the progress of our albums and have only recently heard that she plans to have them to us by April of 2012. (Wedding was July 2010). We have struggled to be able to get a hold of Lisa pretty much after the wedding was all said and done. I would recommend adding communication clauses or requests to any contract that you sign with her and clarifying the best way to reach her.

Again, we absolutely loved the pictures - however it would be nice to have the finished product earlier than almost two years after our wedding.

I gave lisa 4 stars becuase her photos are great, but responsiveness, professionalism, value for nothing, and flexibiltiy all get poor marks. My wedding was 2 1/2 years ago and i still don't have my pictures. This is becomeing a nightmare for me. I send emails and she doesn't respond, it seems like she is blowing me off. This is sad becuase i paid a lot of money for her services...

Lisa did a wonderful job at capturing our day to the fullest. The photographs are beautiful and they are things we will treasure forever. She is amazing to work with.

Lisa is absolutely incredible. We have nothing but positive things to say about her and her work. We wanted someone to tell the story of "us" and the story of "our day". She captured this beautifully. I have had so many friends ask for her information once they see our photos. I couldn't have asked for or imagined a better photographer for our wedding.

When we were looking for a photographer for our wedding, we wanted someone who would work hard to give us the creative, edgy, non-traditional shots we were looking for, at a price we could afford. We found Elite Photography & Design and fell in love with Lisa's style, personality and professionalism. We received so MANY beautiful shots from our wedding and could not have been happier! We have recommended Lisa to others and will continue to do so with confidence.

I would highly recommend this photographer - our photos turned out amazing! I have received countless comments on how fabulous they turned out. On the day of the wedding they were easy to work with and efficient which we appreciated. The only small negative is that they take awhile to get your orders completed, and are not great about responding to emails or communications about the orders.

When I came across Lisa's works of art, I was amazed! I told my husband "she's the one!" Lisa was very professional, easy going, and friendly. Kind of like one of your buddies. Her works are one of a kind. It REALLY tells a story of the couple, who they are, how much they're in love, and the natural chemistry they have. She doesn't do a lot posing you, like hand here, tilt head that way type of photographer, and I think that's where the natural love comes out between the couple. She's great to work with, and her creative eye captures moments that you or I would never think of. She's got a really artsy style to her, and if you are game, she's got you covered! Everyone whose seen her work has nothing but good things to say, and even some heart felt tears of joy.
