Amazing engagement and bridal pics!

Jamie was recommended to me by a lady I worked with. I sort of waited till the last minute to hire a photographer. I didn't want to spend an arm and leg, and everyone seemed so expensive. I even thought about passing out throw away cameras at one point!(Sad but true)
My co-worker saw Jamie's work at her nephew's wedding, and she kept talking about how creative Jamie was. I gave her a call, Our wedding date was two days after Thanksgiving. She had a session booked for our wedding date already. I was so disappointed. But Jamie got in touch with me and she had moved her family session for later so she could be at our wedding!!
I sent Jamie messages on facebook asking her questions and she always replied fast. I also wanted to make sure that my photos were on disk, and that I didn't have to buy them from a website. (I had a bad experience with that in the past) She reassured me that they would be, and they were. :)
The day of our wedding it rained HARD in the morning and Jamie was there at the time she promised. She took TONS of pictures, and knew how to really make the camera love us (I am NO model LOL). She had some wonderful creative ideas. We really barely noticed she was there, and our guests had so many nice things to say about her.
Our wedding was only 3 hours long and that isn't very much time with all the things to do, and talking to do. We were visiting some guests and Jamie kindly asked us if we would like her to make us a plate of food and she did! She was soooo sweet and thoughtful!! We probably would have forgotten to eat! While we were talking to guests she very quietly and politely asked us if we could sneak away and take some photos together.
At the end of our wedding, when we were walking out for the farewell she handed us an Umbrella (because it was raining) and asked us to kiss under it - IT TURNED OUT BEAUTIFUL that is one of my favorite shots!

It was such a pleasure working with Jamie. I plan on using her again in the future for family photos, and I will always recommend her to all of my family and friends.

I used JME for my wedding and I could not have been happier! She showed up on time and was ready to start working. JME captured every moment that every bride wants plus ones that I had never thought of. She and her crew made me feel so comfortable that she convinced me to hop on top of a piano and took pictures which turned out to my favorite! About 2 weeks after the wedding I got all of my pictures in the mail and I love all of them. I also liked that she caught every special moment but I never felt like she was interrupting which is something I have seen several photographers do at weddings. ( I like to see the bride, not the backside of the photographer trying to take a picture) Between my makeup artist and JME I have never felt more beautiful :-) Also her pricing is great! In summary; I was VERY happy with JME Portraits and would recommended her to everyone

John and Jamie absolutely blew me away with not only wonderful photo's, but professionalism and a keen eye for detail. I could not be happier with the services that JME portrait's provided for my wedding.

Jamie is an absolute GEM to work with. Not only is she incredibly good at what she does, she has an awesome personality to match! She says, "once you're a customer, you're always a friend" - and she really means it! Jamie makes you feel very comfortable - joking around with you and really taking the time to get to know you during all your shoots beforehand (engagement/bridal). This allows her to really know the best way to capture your personality in the portraits.

She also is happy and willing to work with your budget. For the quality of her work, her prices are a total steal! Just so you all know, I am also a photographer and know the market well enough to tell you that you should book Jamie NOW – before someone else does! Seriously, you won’t be disappointed. (I don’t do many weddings myself, so that’s why I’m recommending her vs. me – in case you were wondering. Haha)

Also because I know the “biz,” I’m a super harsh critic … and there is not a single bad thing I can say about the pictures Jamie took. I can easily say that I will be using JME Portraits for more than just my wedding... she's going to document my entire life! Haha! Trash the dress, maternity, newborn, family, etc. whatever the occasion, she gives each shoot the attention it deserves and that's especially important for weddings.

She really works hard to capture all the little details. After all, you spent months (maybe years) planning the big day... every bit of it needs to be captured too remember... and that's exactly what she does!

JME portraits is awesome!!!!! I do not usually rate things, or write reviews, but i feel like i really needed to write this one! So here it is, the truth!!! I had my wedding at Lindsay Lakes in June 2011. Allure photography was listed in my package price, so i decided to keep them because at the time i did not know any wedding photography companies. Then i meet Jamie! She did my engagment photos, and bridal portriat photos. I LOVED her work. She is amazing at what she does! She really has a special gift! I really wanted her at my wedding! It was to close to the wedding to cancel with Allure, so i decided that Jamie would just have to be there too! I couldnt take the chance of not having those perfect wedding photos! After all that is what you have after the wedding, photos, to remember the most magical time of your life. I couldnt risk it! Turns out, if Jamie had not come, i would of had the worst wedding photos ever! I was very disappointed with Allure. :( Even my whole family said that, "Jamie saved the day" with her photos! I am so thankful that Jamie was there!!! Plus she is so more reasonable on cost! Just because one company seems to be popular on this site, or expensive, does not mean they are the best. Thank you soooo much Jamie!!!! Because of you i will always remember my wedding, and relive each perfect moment through your photos! Priceless!

I was very pleased with the photos JME Portraits took at my wedding. We hired her because of her unbeatable prices and we got unbeatable photos! It really pays to do your research and go with a photographer that is willing to work with your budget. We were able to make payments and had our whole wedding photography paid for before our wedding even happened. Thank you for working with us!!

Jamie did a wonderful job capturing my wedding. She even thought of some things that I did not and the pictures were gorgeous. Jamie gives her customers photos that they are proud to show off. She is enthusiastic and full of energy, so she will last through your ceremony, reception and beyond if necessary. I would recommend JME Portraits to anyone!
