I am extremely picky with my photos and had a long list of do's and don'ts; he was exceptional. He made me feel like a Bride and a Model, which was very special, and he captured all the beautiful moments & vignettes through out our special day... which goes by so fast. I was so happy to go through all of our pictures and have all of those memories captured so beautifully and artfully! My husband and I also have a very large family and had a very large wedding party and James was able to grab everyone's attention and get the perfect shots quickly and beautifully!

Josh/Bellagala Review From the moment he showed up, Josh was professional and on his game. I, the bride, was running WAY behind while getting ready so he partnered up with a bridesmaid of mine to grab things for detail photos (my rings, bouquets, dress, etc.) to make sure he didn’t waste a second of shooting time once I was ready to be photographed. I and my husband are both very awkward in front of cameras. We are self conscious and uncomfortable. Josh coached us through each pose for each photo, using very clever suggestions to help visualize what he wanted from us. “Look to the left, but act like someone is tugging your hair just a bit this way,” for example. He was also great with letting us know when we were hitting the mark. Everyone in attendance appreciated the help with posing, I’ve had multiple guests tell me how great that was. I never felt like he was in the way, we got to experience every moment as it happened. It felt like he was there to celebrate us just as much as he was to shoot photos—I’m not sure anyone has told us how awesome we are that many times in our lives lol. His energy was impeccable, always either smiling or concentrating on his work. He was kind and gentle, but was not afraid to be a bit more firm when it came to making sure he got the perfect shot. His attention to detail is one of the biggest things I loved. Each time he would finish with a set of photos, he would scroll back through to make sure everyone’s eyes were open, everyone was looking at the camera, and nobody was making an awkward face. I’m very bad about flinching and blinking when the shutter snaps, so that was very comforting. I can rest assured knowing I won’t get my wedding photos back and see myself blinking in half of the photos. I do not have any of my photos back yet, but once I have access to my album I will be updating the review to add photos and talk about how I feel about the way they came out.

As a professional photographer with well over 20 years experience, my first instinct was to photograph our daughter's wedding. This was where my very supportive wife drew a line in the sand.... NOT PERMITTED. Having a great network of fellow photographers to call upon, I was again over-ruled by my daughter who had come across a "very nice" photographer at a local wedding fair. I honored her request to look at the photographer's website. Let me say that I am a bit picky when it comes to analyzing a photographer's creativity and style, but after looking through Jackie's portfolio along with the bride-to-be, we agreed that she was a definite candidate for the job. I phoned Jackie and was impressed with her ability to answer address of my questions and concerns, leaving me confident that she could handle our daughter's wedding day images. On the wedding day, both Jackie and her second shooter handled ALL of the customary portraiture and more! They were non-obtrusive, working well behind the scenes to capture images that would later blow us away! As I said, I'm picky.... some would call me anal.... especially when it comes to creativity. Jackie is a "photographer's photographer" In other words.... she's the choice of other pro photographers, and for good reason. Her images are sharp, beautiful, and artistic! Look, great photography is subjective. In an age when everyone has access to pro grade equipment that allows even a novice to capture beautiful images, it's important to remember that professional photography is an art form that takes years to hone and perfect and even then, not all that many pro photographers will become artists, combining both technical skills with creativity to produce images which speak for themselves. I wholeheartedly endorse Memories by Jacki Photography for your wedding and portraiture needs. I'm looking forward to having Jackie capture the wedding day images for our son's wedding in 2024. This is definitely the team you'll want on your wedding day. (Oh! Her pricing structure is great, too!)

I loveddddd working with Marissa for our engagement pictures!! She was fun and open minded about all of our shots. She knows how to pose you and come up with creative shots which is EVERYTHING. This shoot made me so so so excited for our wedding day! I know she will execute them perfectly! I am also very excited to work with Raymond on the videography side, his work is *chefs kiss*. Their package duo is such a lifesaver when planning a wedding. Also— the turn around time is astonishing!!!! 10/10 recommend
