Not only is Sarah a seasoned professional, but she also radiates a warm and peaceful aura. I didn't have to fret about posing correctly because she provided excellent directions while keeping the atmosphere candid and genuine. I just wish I were more photogenic, but she worked her magic nonetheless.

During my bridal portrait session, we had limited sunlight, but she made sure to capture all the stunning spots at the venue and took some breathtaking daylight and sunset pictures. The photos from the bridal portraits turned out beautifully.

Sarah and her team did an outstanding job capturing our ceremony and reception. The photos they delivered were nothing short of stunning. From the getting ready shots to the wild dancing and everything in between, they truly captured the essence and story of our special day. Sarah takes the MOST beautiful photos! We are extremely happy with how our's turned out. She made us feel very comfortable and the pictures look very natural and not posed at all. I love my wedding photos! I’m so excited. This was so important to me as we didn’t have any other form of documentation. Sarah is so talented! I never felt awkward or forced. I have a great mix of artistic shots, details, traditional, posed, candid, everything. I have it all and I’m so excited to be able to look back on these forever! I booked the package with a second shooter and glad I did! Every moment was captured and allowed for more diverse photos! Communication was easy, and when my bridal were rained out Sarah worked with me to book a session post wedding at her property where my husband and I got to have a whole other photo shoot!

In my opinion, choosing your wedding photographer is one of the most important choices in the wedding planning process! With that said, we are SO happy we chose Sarah from The Silhouette Studio! We live in Houston and met Sarah over Skype .. after a few minutes into our call, we knew she was the one! We had researched and met several other photographers, all so very talented but Sarah stood out amongst the rest because of her passion for capturing timeless photos. She is professional, organized, easy to work with and honestly, ...her photos speak for themselves! The engagement session in Lufkin was so much fun and I was very impressed with the many great images she captured in what seemed like a short shoot. During the wedding, Sarah took command during those difficult situations where things could've been chaotic but she kept us together and did it with a smile! (i.e... bridal party wandering off, large family portraits where no one seems to be paying attention...) ;)

The photos she took from the wedding day are simply incredible. Not only the portraits, but all the details and best of all, the candid shots! The only bad thing I'll have to warn you about is.... you'll have so many great shots it'll be impossible to pick the best to frame for your home. ;) Sarah is amazing- we hope that one day she'll be able to take anniversary and/or family sessions for us! Book her.. you won't regret it!!

Sarah was our wedding and engagement photo photographer. We were initially attracted to her soft romantic style, and we are so glad we chose her to photograph our wedding. I'm a little awkward, and was so grateful for the quick pace--she knew what she was doing and what poses and locations she wanted, so she was able to direct us through, keep things moving, and get lots of great shots. I was so sad when my wedding day was cloudy and raining because I was afraid we wouldn't get many good photos, but Sarah stood out in the rain, gave us an umbrella, and got some amazing shots. She was so sweet and easy to work with, and we had our photo preview less than a week after the wedding and the rest of the photos not long after. I couldn't be happier and am so glad we chose The Silhouette Studio.

Absolutely the BEST photographer to work with! She really knew how to capture our personalities, and the photos came out flawless. We had our engagement pictures done with her, as well as bridals and our wedding a week ago! CANNOT WAIT to see our wedding photos, but the engagements and bridals were FLAWLESS. She is absolutely amazing to work with, and I am really sad that this whole process is over - she truly is a wonderful person and does a fantastic job! I will miss working with her!!!!

We met with a few photographers at the beginning of our journey. Some were nice and some not so much. But when we met Sarah, it was an instant click that she was the one. She would be the special person that would capture our most special day. We never thought twice about our decision and we were right. Sarah is very professional, but at the same time very friendly and involved in many aspects of your life. We had a great day months back doing an engagement session with her. It was fun, silly, and most importantly the photos came out amazing. It was a huge relief to know that we had chosen correctly when choosing her. Her work was outstanding. She is very organized and we had a plan for the wedding day. Everything went as planned and the day was amazing. She captured every second of it and was with us all morning, day and evening long.
