Some of our food was cold when we got to start eating it. They also forgot to bring soda, water and coffee. Other than that it was good.

We were very pleased with everything from this Hy-Vee. We opted to utilize the Hy-Vee on Broadway here in town, not the Harrison one; But I'm sure that both are great.
Our food tasted great, it was hot, and always stocked. We also got to take the left-overs home with us!

Wow, they did exactly what I wanted. Plain and simple!!! Black and white with cupcakes on a tier. I was very happy!!

They may be the local grocery store but they are the GO-TO people for catering. I also had Hy-Vee bakery do my wedding cake. I called and told the woman what I wanted...and it was exactly as I had imagined. She captured the simplistic elegance that I wanted.

I would highly recommend Hy-Vee. I ordered my cake from them. I got so many compliments on how pretty it was. It was tasty too!

Despite that fact that this is a grocery store that caters (which may turn some people off), they were a pleasure to work with. The price was great, the food choice was wonderful. We served our meal buffet-style and they had plenty of people on hand to help with everything. They were also able to provide a Chocolate Fountain and a beautiful fruit display at a fraction of the cost of another place in town. It was the biggest hit of the entire night! My only complaint was that they didn't have chocolate to refill the fountain and it ran out very early in the evening because of its popularity.

We also ordered our cake from their bakery department. Having the caterer and the cake come from the same store was such a convenience. As for just the cake, they were able to do exactly what we wanted, they came and set it up, and took the cake back to the store to box for us at the end of the night - all we had to do was run to the store the next day to pick it up. It was delicious and beautiful!

I have always loved the cakes that I had gotten from Hy-Vee on other occasions, so naturally I went there to get my cake. I was able to bring in pictures of different cakes that I had seen and liked and they worked with me until I had exactly what I wanted. I was very pleased with how it turned out and my guests loved it.
