Laura and her staff were wonderful to work with. Even though the venue we booked for our wedding said they take care of ordering the cake, Laura did not mind at all that I stopped in to ask questions directly with her.

We originally chose two flavors four our four tier (carrot/cream cheese and snicker doodle/cream cheese), but with Laura's help we decided change one of the four layers to what she said was her most popular (fresh strawberry filling with vanilla frosting).

She also gave me ideas for creating our own cake topper. I think we nailed it! :) (See photo) The cake was exactly how we pictured it would be and turned out perfect! It was rustic-chic.

At then end of the night, we realized we only had one bite of the cake at the cutting. That one bite was delicious! Guests raved about the cake and many commented on how yummy the strawberry was!

Laura was absolutely amazing and so very talented. We could talk with her like she was a friend, not just a business person. Her cakes are so unbelievable tasty and she does cake fillings which are mind-blowing. I will always use Laura's bakery for many occasions now. Definitely go have a tasting with her and you can see everything she has to offer and taste the yummy fillings.

Laura did an amazing job with our cake. We met with her first to decide if we were going to get a cake from her, and she made cupcakes with different flavors and fillings for us to try. She had several large books with lots of pictures to help us get ideas and the cakes she keeps on display are flawless. She really knows her business and can give lots of input on flavors, size, style, and even how to display the cake. She is very flexible with design and her talent could match just about any request. Her prices are fair, and you definitely get what you pay for and more! We ended up with 5 different flavors of cake with the different cake layers and kitchen cakes (back-up cakes not displayed) and the guests loved them all. She's definitely worth at least talking to if you're looking for your baker.

Laura did the dessert table for our wedding. Our guests raved about everything! She was so pleasant and easy to work with. Her cupcakes were described by many of our guests as the best they've had.

I found Creations By Laura through a google search for cake makers near our wedding venue. The first time I called and spoke with her over the phone I loved how personable she is and I knew very early on that she would make the cake for my wedding. She is very professional and always wants to make the client happy because she truly understands how important a wedding cake is. After sending her pictures of what we wanted our cake to look like she gave us an estimate which was very close to what we ended up paying because we chose to add a few extra things during our in person consultation. My wife and I loved that we were able to combine different flavors into the same cake. Laura was amazing the day of the wedding because she came and set up the cake and put real flowers on it for us. My wife and I were very happy with her service and highly recommend her. 5 Stars all the way.

Planning a wedding in Union, MO from our home in Orlando, FL, was nerve-racking to say the least. Thank goodness for Creations By Laura. From our first conversation, I KNEW this was going to be a success! My daughter wanted a simple cake, and Laura's dots and pearls design, with a ribbon of scrolling between each layer was perfect! And the flavors? Oh my! Each layer was different: Carrot Cake with cream cheese filling, Snickerdoodle with cinnamon filling, Chocolate with turtle filling and White with fresh strawberry filling. Everyone, and I do mean EVERYONE, raved about the cake. Over and over again people said how moist it was, that it was without a doubt the best wedding cake they had ever had! Oh, Laura, you were a blessing to the bride and to her mother, I assure you!!! If you are planning a wedding in the Union area, do not hesitate to call Creations By Laura. You will not be disappointed!!!!

Laura was so easy to work with and really did a great job creating the cake we asked for. She was super easy to get a hold of, even when I called at 9:45 one evening!! I knew my wedding cake was one thing I didn't have to worry about, because she had it under control. Laura's family works in the bakery with her, and they do an amazing job also. Her cakes are delicious, I recommend french vanilla with strawberry filling, SO GOOD!
