I LOVED my cake, the flavors, the look, everything. Casie is great to work with there, but everyone else was kind of flaky with my payment or getting me the right information. The cake turned out beautifully, just don't expect anyone else to know what is going on.

The baker at Hyvee was genuinely kind and friendly. He had over 30+ years of cake decorating experience. Being a grocery store, I didn't think they would be able to do the high-end cake design that we wanted. But they completely worked with us to create our dream cake. The cake tasted good too. We had the orange filling with chocolate cake and chocolate fudge frosting. I highly recommend it. Plus, their prices can't be beat!

They made my day what i dreamed about since i was a little girl. Every little detail they did. They also had some great ideas that made my planning alot less stressful. I love the service, so personal. 100% satisfied.

We used Wilson Ave Hy-Vee for the wedding cake, flowers and some catering trays. The cake was delicious and we had lots of compliments...my only frustration was that we had requested to use the plastic stands they had, but instead were given just discardable styrofoam and coardboard. I had to go out of my way on the wedding day to pick up the other (no charge).

Flowers came out beautiful, but I felt they were a bit overpriced when I heard how much other brides where spending in the area for much better arrangements. Also wish they had listened a little more closely when I asked for ribbon wrapped bouquets. Delivery was great and they lasted a long time...and again, looked lovely. Overall a good experience...with fast, flexible service!

Hy Vee bakery on Oakland Rd in Cedar Rapids did EXACTLY what we wanted for our wedding cake and grooms cake. They were able to to a edible photo transfer for the grooms cake and it was awesome!

The flowers were awesome! The cake was delicious. Highly recommended!

I realize that my wedding was on the hottest day of 2007, but HyVee did not go out of their way to make sure that my wedding cake did not start melting before it reached the reception site. There was plenty of refridgeration area for them to place the cake once it got there, but they were not able to keep their transportation cool enough. By the time we cut the cake, the icing was already melting and it turned out to be quite disappointing.

Hy-Vee was affordable and worked well with us!!! They created a cake that was beautiful and yummy!!!!! I highly recommend Hy-Vee. (We used the Hy-Vee on Collins Rd.)

I loved my flowers although they were kind of pricey! They did do a great job at putting them together and having them at my wedding on time!

We used the Oakland Road Hy-Vee for our flowers. Everything was nice except they forgot our tossing boquet!
The flowers were phenomenal and they were able to provide me with an estimate right away.
They are some of the most reasonable priced people around and our florist has TONS of experience.
I recommend the Oakland Rd location simply for Beth!! She's awesome!

The flowers Hy Vee provided for our wedding were beautiful and of top quality. There was no wilting to be found, even in the corsages. The cake was excellent tasting, made to our specifications and affordable.
