My husband and I come from different religious backgrounds. Before finding Kjersti we were worried it would be impossible to find an officiant that was going to be a good fit for our circumstances. We feel nothing but fortunate that we were able to find Kjersti, and are still basking in the wedding glow that is largely due to the absolutely beautiful ceremony she put together. We sought out a spiritual but non religious officiant as a compromise with my parents (they wanted a Christian wedding in a church, we wanted my brother to get ordained online) and we are so thankful we did! Carolyn created the most amazing ceremony for us that appealed to everyone. It had the grace and elegance of a traditional ceremony with the wording we were most comfortable with. Afterwards several people gushed about how special, personal and beautiful it was!

We worked with Kjersti and would do so again in a second. She's a warm, welcoming officiant who clearly loves her job. She spent a lot of time getting to know us and crafting a ceremony that matched our personalities and incorporated lots of interesting literary references and quotes. She did a great job infusing spirituality into the ceremony without being specific to a certain religion, and we appreciated that. The day of the wedding, she arrived early to ensure everyone and everything was where it needed to be. We got SO many compliments on the ceremony — it was my favorite part of the wedding.

When we were planning our wedding, we wanted to have a non-religious ceremony but were hesitant to use an officiant that we didn't know. Before we met with Kjersti, we had met with a few other officiants. They really gave us free range for literally anything, which isn't what we were looking for from the person we were looking to lead our wedding. Kjersti was an amazing and fundamental part of our day. She met with us and had us talk with her about ourselves and who we were as a couple. During these sessions, I cried...a few times because she really made me feel the moment I was in and how happy I was to be there. She recreated that same intimacy for us and our guests on our wedding day by telling our story.

Carolyn was very personable and flexible to work with. Being able to have a spiritual but not religious wedding was great. Although Grand Officiants can perfrom traditional style wedding ceremonies, we decided to go at it differently. Carolyn had many ideas to help make our wedding unique and helped us incorporate different cultural aspects into our weddng. Carolyn was such a pleasure to work with, and we later met two other officiants during a couples retreat that were just as nice and personable. Carolyn truly took care of all the details. After the ideas were laid out Grand Officiants did the rest and put together the most beautiful and naturalistic ceremony.

Carolyn Germaine performed a truly personal and beautiful ceremony for our daughter and son-in-law. She met with them several times before the wedding. During those meetings, Carolyn got to know our daughter and son-in-law as she guided and made suggestions in planning their ceremony. The Tree of Life Ritual was a very unique and meaningful part of their ceremony. My husband and I received many compliments after the ceremony from our guests. Carolyn, I fear that words aren't capable of completely expressing how grateful we are for your guidance and for the beautiful ceremony you performed. Even though we spent mere hours together, your service spoke as though you were with us for our entire journey as a couple. For two people incredibly nervous and uncomfortable about a "public" ceremony, your art made it feel as though it was just the two us standing there! Even more, our 150 people wedding had numerous, strong (and loud!) opinions on faith and religion, none of which we, the bride and groom, practice. We were sensitive about this being OUR wedding and ceremony, but we didn't want to offend our guests or make them feel like they could share in our blessings and love.
