I challenge you to make your ceremony your own! Tell your love story and incorporate your family and friends so that they don't have to sit through another boring wedding! Let's have fun while including the traditions that are important to you. We'll be serious where we need to be.
I am an open-minded, easy-going, Non-Denominational Ordained Minister. I have been doing weddings since 2010 and still love it like I started yesterday! I don't discriminate! I believe in love! Not what religion you are, what your sexual orientation is, or where you come from. I am constantly researching the business and watching for new and upcoming ideas. I will make suggestions and let you know from experience what has worked and what has not.
I do large weddings, small weddings, just a signing of your marriage license, renewal of vows, commitment ceremonies, traditional ceremonies, unique ceremonies, themed ceremonies, you name it!
The only thing I can not do are weddings of incarcerated individuals.
I travel anywhere in MN (a travel fee is applicable if over 60 miles from Big Lake or Backus MN) and encourage couples to personalize their vows and ceremonies!
I believe in two individuals coming together to build a life together but still remaining individuals. I believe couples work together to support each other's growth and dreams. They encourage each other to be better than they already are. A support team.
Never will I use the saying "I promise to obey my husband"! Sorry guys that is old school! I will also not ask if anyone objects to the marriage. Because it's your wedding and frankly we don't care what they think! Right? If they don't like it they can go to someone else's wedding;)
I try to keep our process pretty simple and make everything available online so you can access it 24/7. I do require us to meet a few weeks before your ceremony to go over all the details of your ceremony and answer any questions you or I may have. I invite you to my office in Big Lake for this (Zoom is available too). I also offer planning resources.

Vows with Angie Was Exactly What I Was Searching For!
We’d been together for years, but decided fairly quickly to make it legal. Vows with Angie’s Private Client Portal made it SO easy to plan the perfect ceremony for us. She answered our questions quickly, guided us in the right direction, and allowed us to have the perfect wedding for us.
When a winter storm was threatening our crazy outdoor destination wedding, it was a comfort to know she had a classy little chapel available that would have saved the day. Angie’s “no problem” attitude and calm demeanor helped reassure us that our plans would go on, despite rotten roads and a foot of snow.

Hi there!
My name is Angie and I am a Minnesota grown Ordained Minister! I am a romantic at heart and wanted to find a way to embrace that. So I became ordained through Universal Life Church. I started Vows With Angie in 2010 after a big life change. In 2020 I became busy enough that I left my job as a Radiologic Technologist to pursue this passion full time! I honestly lost count of how many weddings I have done. They take me all over and I meet all kinds of different people. I love that about my career.
I am a Non-Denomination Minister. I am non-bias towards any religion. My Ordained Minister Certificate has been recorded in Sherburne County. I am legally allowed to marry couples within the state of MN and WI. I attend wedding professional conferences and am always building my knowledge in the wedding industry!

When you meet me you will find that I am a very open-minded person. I am easygoing with a sense of humor. I am a little bit country and a little bit city. I am very professional when I need to be. For your ceremony, I slip into focus mode and make sure your wishes are carried out as planned.
I am human like you!
I have a family. I have been divorced and remarried. I have 3 children and a beautiful bonus daughter that I love as my own! Three girls and one boy. Phoenix (also ordained now), Taylor, Remington, and Lincoln. We are a mixed or blended family as some call it. Only Lincoln is at home still. The girls are out living life and exploring the world! I am also a Grandma to an awesome little guy named Maverick! My amazing husband Freddie is a crab on the outside but mushy on the inside (don't tell him I put that in here). He owns his own shop and is a welder, fabricator, and small engine repair guy.
I love cats!! I promise someday I will be that crazy cat lady! Just me and 50 cats I can tell wedding stories to! I currently have two. Mitch who is my boy, and our black cat Gump. Gump was given her name when we thought she was a boy kitty. Imagine our surprise when the vet said she was a girl! Anyway, she's kinda crazy. She likes to run under your feet while you're walking so that you can feel really bad when you accidentally kick her!
We also have two labs. One white and one black. The white lab is named Laney May Ham and the black one is her mom and her name is Bella Semi Automatic! Do not bring a ball around Bella! She is relentless. Laney... she could care less. She just wants to sleep (teenager).
I love MN outdoors! I am not sure about the winter (I don't like to be cold). I have found the joys of ice fishing though. I love music and DIY projects! I practice Guitar and Violin. Hence the practice not play:)
You should also know that I support same-sex marriage! I have many people close to me that are LGBTQ. I love them!
Again! I am a very open-minded individual. I believe everyone should enjoy love and happiness! Love and happiness are two of the great things life has to offer!
