Our flowers were absolutely gorgeous and so much better than I ever could have imagined. Theresa is so very talented, professional and just great to work with. I went into our first meeting with an idea of what I would like, not particularly knowing certain flowers, but moreso a feel for the day. She translated that into exactly what I was looking for and more. Everything from my bouquet to the centerpieces and the bridesmaids were phenomenal. Her prices are extremely reasonable for the quality that she delivers.

Theresa is an absolutely amazing floral designer.. I sent her many pictures during our almost 2 year engagement and she brought my vision to life! The boutonnieres, bouquets, and centerpieces were the most gorgeous flowers I have ever seen.. She is a true artist and is worth every penny.. My wedding would not have been the same without her special touch.. Thank you Theresa!!

I delegated the flowers part of the wedding to my mother, but she worked with Teresa at Dogwood to make sure we had the most beautiful flowers! They did such a fantastic job. I was literally IN LOVE with my bridal bouquet. GREAT JOB!

Let me start by saying that I was overwhelmingly happy with my wedding and with all of my other vendors. I wish that my experience with Dogwood Floral was different. It seems that they have many happy clients from years past and I hope for everyone’s sake that my experience was an anomaly.

I hired Theresa from Dogwood because I really liked her design aesthetic from what I saw on her website and in her portfolio. She also was willing to listen to my ideas and seemed to understand my vision. When I found out that her prices were within our price range, I was trilled. I became worried when I traveled from my home in Connecticut to her studio to see a sample centerpiece about two months before our wedding. The sample was not what I envisioned and discussed with Theresa. She did not seem prepared for the meeting, as the centerpiece was in a different vase than discussed. She told me that she left the vase in her car that was at home. I was disappointed and had to find a way to see another sample. We worked out the changes that needed to be made and I was very happy with the next sample we saw and excited again about the flowers for the wedding. Leading up to the wedding I became worried again because Theresa’s revised proposal (the changes I made resulted in an increased price per centerpiece) contained old information and was not completely up to date. When I pointed this out she sent me a new one. I also sent several emails to Theresa that were unanswered for several days and even then, the responses did not answer all of my questions. This was even true for an email I sent the week of the wedding. I had to call and leave a nagging voicemail in order to get a response from her. Any bride will understand that this was extremely upsetting and nerve-racking. I understand that June is a florist’s busiest time of year; however, it takes about thirty seconds to respond to an email, or at least acknowledge that you received it and say that you will respond at a later time. And let me be clear, I was not a crazy bride harassing her every other day or even every other week. I sent emails only as necessary. Service and responsiveness is part of a wedding florist’s job and I expected a far higher level of both.

Fast forward to the wedding day. I was about to put my dress on when I snuck over to the ceremony site to see how it looked. I was shocked to see plain white hydrangea plants in PLASTIC gray/brown pots on white pedestals at the altar. Theresa and I had agreed on potted white hydrangeas as a base, but placed in an elegant urn and supplemented with lots of cut flowers. This was certainly not what we agreed on or what was described in our final paperwork. My mother tried to get in touch with Theresa and when she finally did, Theresa did not apologize or try to get back to our venue to remedy the situation, but instead made an excuse about “timing issues”. When it was obvious we were not getting the arrangements we paid for, we then had to try to make the altar look presentable. We ultimately had to put dinner centerpieces on the pedestals which was not ideal and certainly not what I imagined. I also did not envision paying a florist for her services and having such added flower –related stress for me, my mother, my bridesmaids, and in-laws moments before my wedding.

After the wedding, my mother and I had to solicit an apology from Theresa for the missing altar arrangements. She did not reach out to me or my mother on her own. Personally, if I were her, I would have sent a hand-written note or at least an email with an apology immediately. Theresa has since promised a refund for the items that were not delivered.

I will end by saying that the items that were delivered (centerpieces, bouquets, etc) were beautiful. The flowers were fresh and of high quality and the design was gorgeous. Had the service been as wonderful as the product and had I received all of the items, I would be happy. Product is only half of a wedding florist’s job. Organization, responsiveness, and most importantly, delivery make up the other half. I understand that mistakes happen, but when you trust someone with something as important as the decoration for your wedding day and pay them for that, you expect to get what you were promised. If a mistake happens, a true wedding professional would be as upset as I was, and as far as I can tell that was definitely not the case. I normally would never write a review like this, as I know the impact it can have on a business, but I would hate for another flower-loving bride to have my experience.

I worked with Theresa at Dogwood and LOVED her. She did a great job with our flowers and was flexible in dealing with our changing needs in terms of cost. She was also very kind during my most stressed out moments!!

Theresa at Dogwood Floral Design was fantastic! She completely understood the look and style we were going for. After a somewhat last minute ceremony venue change, she was also very helpful in coming up with some ideas for floral decor in the new space. The flowers were absolutely gorgeous, exactly what I wanted! In terms of cost, I think her prices were quite reasonable and the finished product well worth it!

Flowers were the biggest stress vendor-wise in my wedding. I have never been a fan of flowers and had a very specific vision for my centerpieces because of that. I met with various florist and the prices that they quoted were outrageous and I left most of the appointments more stressed out than when I walked in the door. When my mother and I met with Theresa, she was the first florist that I left feeling calm and hopeful. She worked with my idea and helped me make it more budget friendly. I was able to tell her my overall wedding vision and she gave such great advice as to how and where the flowers fit into my vision.

The flowers were absolutely amazing. My bouquet was breathtaking and the bridesmaids flowers gave exactly the look that I had pictured. Theresa took my vision and made it a hundred times better. She truly made my vision sparkle. All of my guests absolutely loved the centerpieces and they lasted weeks on my table!

There was one bit of miscommunication but as soon as it was realized Theresa was prompt and flexible in remedying. I would highly recommend Theresa, I'm hoping to work with her in the future!

Both my sister and I used Dogwood Floral for our Weddings - we got married 4 months apart, she was December and had a Christmas Winter theme and I was in April and had a Spring theme - Theresa was great! She has great ideas and also can understand the look that you're going for. We were both so happy and excited with ALL the flowers, from the bridesmaids bouquets, the bridal bouquets and the centerpieces!

Meeting and working with Theresa was beyond amazing.

I was one of those brides that did not have much floral direction - besides knowing my color scheme and the fact of wanting to use my own glassware (mason jars & milk jars).
With an elegant venue (Barn at Gibbet Hill, Groton MA ) and the very few ideas I had - Theresa put it all together and then some.
She was able to bring together AMAZING colors and GORGEOUS flowers to add that perfect touch to the venue.

The bridal and bridesmaid bouquets were equally amazing!
The only down side was the one and only flower I said 'no' to was used for mothers corsages & boutonnières.
But the way she incorporated that specific flower - it matched perfectly and still worked - so it was an okay oversight.
Theresa - thank you for everything - you were amazing and your work proves how dedicated you are & how much you truly love your work!

I was so happy with her work - I had to call her in between wedding & honeymoon just to say thank you! !

I just read a review about a Chuppah Theresa was unable to do and was quite surprised. She decorated out Chuppa exactly the way I imagined it in my mind...it was beautiful beyond words. My bouquet and bridesmaids bouquets were also exactly as I had discussed with her as well. A little delay in responsiveness sometimes, but always ultimately heard back from her and got exactly what I wanted. Great value!

I was on a TIGHT budget for my wedding and, after realizing my quote was too much, I went back to the florist and she worked with me to stay within my budget AND give me beautiful flowers. She came up with lots of options...only thing I MIGHT complain about was that the flowers didn't match the bridesmaid dresses but they did still photograph nicely.

It was a big disappointment for us.
Theresa was nice but the work was not great.
- The brides bouquet wasnt as expected. Was supposed to be cascading style but not sure what style it eneded up in.
- She wasnt comfortable decorating the CHuppah - which she emailed us 2 days prior to the wedding that she has never done it before. It was a disaster.
- The bridesmaid flowers were old and rotten.
- Boutonniere were not as expected and discussed. Corsages were not great either. One of the mothers didnt end up wearing them.
- We told her not to have a pin for the Boutonniere for the ring bearer. SHe made sure she had a pin. Ofcourse we did not make him wear either.
- Center pieces were the only things as we had expected.

She is nice. But requires more experience before I would recommend her to anyone.

When I first started planning my wedding I had a vision...glam and bling. When I met with Theresa she steered me in the right direction at the same time keeping in mind my budget. For the whole year of planning Theresa was always willing to give me suggestions, met with me and add onto my ever growing list of wants and questions. I cannot tell you how floored I was when she walked through the door with my bouquet - it wasn't anything I pictured in my head - it was SO much better. I still get all giddy thinking about it. The ceremony set up was gorgeous and exactly what I wanted and the centerpieces were to die for. Everyone raved about them - and my family is HARD to please! I can't thank her enough for making my vision a reality - it was simply amazing.
