Trust is so important when selecting vendors for your big day, and Valerie from Washington Park Florist is just one of those vendors who you just will immediately trust. From the moment we met her, my husband and I fell in love with not only her arrangements but also her personality and “Cool Aunt” attitude. She’s the person that you would absolutely want to be working with you in planning your wedding. What also made Valerie stand apart from other florists we spoke to was how she was truly collaborative in figuring out the right balance between the sorts of arrangements/styles we wanted and our budget. She never made us feel any type of way for not having a bigger floral budget than your typical bride and groom, and was so dedicated to making sure our day was nothing short of perfection. She personally dropped off our bouquet, corsages, and boutonnieres in the morning at our home, and then came back to our venue to begin arranging our florals. If you want a florist that listens to you, and delivers the most beautiful blooms, Washington Park Florist should definitely be at the top of your list! Valerie is truly a joy to work with, and I promise you will not regret the experience!

Finding a florist was so overwhelming and "minimum investments" were crazy! I decided to go with Poppy Flowers because the pricing was actually reasonable and there wasn't a minimum investment of like $5-8k like some other florists. We used Poppy Flowers for bridal and bridesmaids bouquets, bouts, corsages, 2 aisle flower clouds, and flower girl petals. The process was super easy and straight forward. It was nice to have one vendor be all online and straightforward when everything else was so complicated and convoluted in wedding planning. Everything went smoothly on the day of. The flowers magically appeared where they needed to be. That may be partly due to my planner but also Poppy showed up as expected where they were expected (as far as I know lol). And they looked great!! We supplemented the Poppy Flowers by buying local wholesale bulk flowers to fill 50 bud vases and my girlfriends and I also made several fake flower arrangements in the months leading up to the wedding too. Even though we hodge podged it all together it ended up looking nice together (IMO lol) and that's likely due to Poppy understanding what I wanted color and flower type wise. I also enjoyed the leftover flowers for a week or so after the wedding as they survived a while once i put them in new vases with water and flower food. (The pic of them all on a table are days after the wedding rearranged into vases)

We are absolutely in love with the florals and overall aesthetic Angela and Demelza created for our wedding! From the moment we first met with them, we knew we were in good hands. Angela and Demelza took the time to really understand our vision, style, and color scheme, and transformed that into breathtaking floral designs that perfectly complemented our entire wedding day. Their design of the wedding ceremony and reception was beyond stunning. Everything they created was so elegant and romantic. The flowers themselves were beautiful - a wonderful splash of fall colors and greenery - and they were arranged in such tasteful and creative ways. The entire venue staff was commenting on how gorgeous the florals/design were, and our guests have not stopped talking about it either. Angela and Demelza created an atmosphere that was truly breathtaking. The flowers tied everything together beautifully and made our venue look like a dream. We were also so impressed with Angela and Demelza’s attention to detail. They really went above and beyond in ensuring that every single floral piece was exactly as we envisioned. The setup was flawless, and they made sure everything was in place well before our guests arrived, so we could enjoy the day without any worries. If you’re looking for florists who are talented, creative, and truly passionate about their work, we cannot recommend Afterall Floral enough. Their floral designs exceeded all of our expectations and were a highlight of our wedding day. Thank you for making our day so vibrant, elegant, and unforgettable!
