Joanna at the Gypsy Rose is a kind, creative, and talented florist. When I first came into the Gypsy Rose with my mom and sister, we had a general idea of the color themes for my wedding, but other than a few sample pictures from Pinterest, we didn’t know what kinds of flowers we were looking for. Joanna ran with what little information we provided and threw together a sample centerpiece during that first meeting. In five minutes, she had created a beautiful centerpiece that we ultimately used as the inspiration for the rest of the bouquets too. Given my wedding was in November and we were going with a burgundy theme, Joanna recommended that I consider dahlias or peonies as the main flower. When she got in the peonies, she recommended that I consider just using the dahlias given the peonies were a bit more red than I was initially going for. Her communication, judgement, and flexibility during this was much appreciated – I was confident she would put together beautiful arrangements. She personally delivered the flowers and I could not have been happier with how everything turned out. I cannot thank Joanna enough for the work she put into my wedding day flowers!

Joanna and The Gypsy Rose did an incredible job with the flowers at our wedding at the Rockport Art Association (Rockport, MA) in July. We were looking for a colorful wildflower theme, which the team delivered perfectly.

They were very organized and communicative, and accommodating to our needs. We asked them the week of the wedding if another bouquet could be added for a flower girl, and they were able to do this without a problem. Also, they helped bring flowers from the venue (where they were delivered) to the hotel where we were taking photos. The prices were very reasonable. We would recommend The Gypsy Rose to anyone having an event with flowers!! We couldn’t be happier with their work.

Used The Gypsy Rose for our wedding a few weeks ago. We had a specific vision in mind, and Joanna worked with us to create pieces that were even better that we had envisioned. She even went the extra mile - our centerpieces included some wooden lanterns with faux candles, and she had us drop them off with her so she could put everything together. She arranged my bouquet, flowers for our wedding party, some bud vases for our cocktail hour, our reception centerpieces, a floral box for our sweetheart table, and the flowers for our cake. Everything was delivered to and set up at the venue perfectly, and through the whole process she was very communicative and helpful. We live a few states away, and after meeting with Joanna in person I knew we would be in good hands. Highly recommend if you are in central MA looking for a talented, detail oriented and creative florist for your big day!

Joanna at Gypsy Rose rescued me at the very last minute with amazingly beautiful flowers for our table tops and cake. We were unable to locate and hire a florist after attempting to do so over several months. Three days before the wedding, I was referred to Gypsy Rose and they came through for us a BIG WAY. They did exactly what I asked, which is a lot considering they had such short notice. Everything was beautiful and perfect. If you are looking for magnificent flowers, artistic talent, and excellent customer service, call this florist. You can trust that they will make your floral arrangements exactly the way you want them. Thank you, Gypsy Rose!

Joanna is such a pleasure to work with and made sure all my wishes came true! I had scheduled my wedding for March 2020 at a Boston hotel. Joanna worked very closely with me to make sure my ceremony flowers and reception centerpieces would be what I envisioned. Unfortunately, the pandemic hit us in early March and one week prior to our wedding, everything shutdown. It was a devastating time to say the least. I worked with my planner to find a new date later in the summer that worked for all my vendors. Joanna was very responsive during that time. We ultimately decided on an August 2020 date. Our governor in Massachusetts finally allowed weddings again in July (with many restrictions, of course). I was so excited to finally see the light at the end of the tunnel after months of anxiety and emotional stress. Then we found out that the hotel could not host our wedding in August because they were still closed and not hosting events until further notice. I refused to postpone again so I changed the venue a month before the wedding date. My husband and I rented a private yacht and reached out to the vendors to make sure they were still on board. Joanna was very supportive during this time. She reached out to me with questions to make sure our original plan would still work. The one thing I really wanted for my ceremony was an arch/arbor. She was a bit concerned with having the metal frame fall over with the wind, but she knew how important this was to me and was able to get creative and make it work. The arch was beyond beautiful! She also made my bouquet exactly as I pictured it. Absolutely gorgeous!

Initially, Joanna was supposed to go up to my suite at the hotel to drop off the bouquet, then just go right down to the ceremony room to setup everything onsite, dismantle the arch once the ceremony ended, and leave right after. However, being on the yacht, now she had to drop off the bouquet at the hotel where I was staying a few blocks away from the dock, go to the dock to setup on the boat, and then stay on until it went back to the dock to drop her off after the ceremony. It was a little more complicated and required more work, but she was completely fine with this and didn’t give me a hard time. I was so appreciative to have Joanna be so understanding and accommodating!

I would not hesitate to hire Joanna again. She is very easy to work with, very friendly, professional, and reliable.

Joanna from the Gypsy Rose was absolutely WONDERFUL to work with! She is such a nice person, and truly listened to what I wanted out of my flowers, My bridal bouquet came out exactly - if not better - than what I had imagined. The centerpieces were beautiful and everyone was fighting over who got to take them home. I'd gladly recommend Gypsy Rose to anyone looking for beautiful, affordable, flowers. Joanna was a dream to work with! I came in with a pretty good idea of what I wanted but she helped me so much to select flowers and tweak the look, as well as find wallet friendly alternatives to flowers I liked. I wanted to have my centerpieces in various vintage tins, that I had found. She went so far as to design each arrangement to reflect the design of the tins. Oh and she even ordered flowers for our meeting to show me what she had in mind and she sent me photos the week before the wedding to show me the flowers arriving and blooms opening!!! The staff and coordinator at at our wedding venue said that the flowers were the best that they had ever seen! If you choose Gypsy Rose you will not be disappointed!!!!

Joanna was the perfect florist for us, hands down! We got married in August 2018 and admittedly did not want to spend very much on flowers (our priorities were on venue, food and music). So I had purchased table decorations, vases, and votive lights on my own. The first vendor I met with told me that she would prefer not to use the items I had because they were not matching in style and because overcharging for containers is "really how I make a profit." I was appalled and quite apprehensive before my visit with Joanna.
Oh boy, what a difference! Joanna immediately embraced my concept and my decorations, offered great suggestions and made me feel completely at ease about the entire process. She very patiently dealt with my very detail oriented husband (I believe it took him nearly an hour to pick the greenery), gave us some complimentary flower samples, and was very receptive to ideas, while giving us enough guidance. The best of all, she stayed well within our (really quite limited) budget and on the day of brought our vision to life perfectly! She was there early, took care of everything and even had a small gift and card for us. I seriously cannot say enough good things about her.

Joanna provided the bride/bridesmaids, groom/groomsmen, cake, and table flowers for my wedding. Everything came out beautiful!!! I sent her picture ideas of what I was looking for and she nailed it. We met with her multiple times to make sure everything turned out perfect and they did.
