We were very pleased with SEC. We found Jim Reynolds to be consistently friendly , responsive and full of helpful ideas. He was always willing to meet with us. We appreciated the tasting dinner where we could sample what we could choose for our buffet. jim's staff, the chapel host, dining room manager etc. were there on the wedding day to work woith us on any minor problems. our guests all commented on the excellent quality and variety of foo.

Colgate Rochester Crozer Divinity School was the perfect place to have a wedding ceremony and reception. Jim Reynolds and his staff were absolutely attentive, took care of every need (before I could even think of it!), and made the day absolutely perfect. They provide wedding planning services, chapel hostesses, and everything ran without a hitch. The food was amazing - people are still raving about it - and the service was outstanding. I cannot praise Colgate highly enough; it was the most wonderful day, due to Jim Reynolds and Colgate. I highly recommend Colgate if you are looking for the perfect venue for your wedding ceremony and reception.

We knew Colgate was where we wanted to get married as soon as we walked in. The chapel, reception room, library and terrace were so unique and elegant, it was the perfect location for us and our guests. The entire staff at Colgate/Special Events Catering was extremely helpful and they made it an incredible and unforgettable day for us. They were very efficient during the planning and had many contact suggestions to help us choose an officiant, organist, DJ, florist and bakery. We were very pleased with all of their suggestions. Our family and friends still talk about how much they enjoyed our wedding...especially the food. We are very grateful to Jim and the crew for making it a success.

This vendor does all of the catering for our wedding/reception site, Colgate Divinity in Rochester, NY. The head of the company is Jim Reynolds and he was wonderful to work with. His food is absolutely fabulous. We had several guest say it was the best reception food they'd ever had. He gives you many options and is willing to work with your tastes. He is also very responsive to emails and phone calls which I really appreciated. As our wedding was getting closer, I was sending him an email with one question or another on practically a daily basis and I never got the impression that he was annoyed with me or thought I was being unreasonable. He was always very patient and got right to the point. We were extremely pleased and would recommentd this venue and catering company to anyone!

My wedding was a dream come true at Colgate Divinity School. Jim Reynolds was very professional and I had good faith that he would pull everything off smoothly and he did. The food is excellent and the servers were helpful. Jim always answered my email questions promptly. The venue itself was stunning. It felt like we traveled somewhere far away and unique, even though we were right in Rochester. The only glitch was using the microphones-they were making feedback noises during the toasts! But, Jim was right there to figure it out and fix it, and it only took a quick moment to get everything working smoothly. I couldn't have picked a better place to have our wedding and ceremony. It was just gorgeous.
