i loved my dress! and got it on clearence for a steal. the girls who helped me were awesome! but did not like their selection of bridesmaid dresses

Being a plus size bride my experience looking for a dress was basically a nightmare until I found Azteca and they were able to not only have dresses for me to try on, but they assisted me, gave me great ideas, great deals on the Tuxedos and were able to order my dress from the 2011 fall line before it was available for purchase! I would recommend taking a couple of friends and heading there. It's a bit of a maze and you have to ask questions, but worth the time and effort.

As same as several brides here, I looked everywhere! finally I found my dress here, I got a couple of disccounts because of my consultant, she was amazing. During alterations the lady was nice and everything, but felt that she wasn't paying to much attention and she was rushing, when I came back the dress had a couple of things going wrong, the lady said that I was imagining things, that it looked perfect. My mom got into an argument with her about the alterations, finally the manager stepped in. I asked her if she was seeing, as we were, that the dress was longer from one side than the other, that it seemed that the alterations lady was getting mad, she said, that she could see it and asked the lady to re-do it. She came back 15 min later with my dress fixed. They sent me an e-mail once they had my dress, it came before than I expected it so that was good.

I serched everywhere to find my wedding dress and finally found the perfect one at Azteca bridal. They have a huge selection and are so reasonably priced. They did all of my alterations, cleaning and now preserving of my gown! They are the best!

I purchased my wedding dress here as well as three dresses for my daughters. I loved my dress, they allowed me to make payments but they were not overly professional. Overall, I was happy but the experience of trying on dresses etc..was not as magical or personable as I would have liked.

Although this was the only place I could even make a decision on a dress I was extremely disappointed with the service. I got the couture gown of my dreams, but when I went to get my alterations done the lady didn't speak English & she wasn't paying attention to what I really wanted... In the end my dress wasn't ready when they said it would be & I left in hysterical tears. Then when I was promised a discount because they weren't ready with my dress, when I came to pick up my dress I was informed that no such promise was made & they let someone else speak on my behalf... I would never send anyone there.

While the staff at Azteca has a reputation for not being the greatest, my consultant was very nice and helpful. I got a great deal on my dress and it was beautiful! However, they did not contact me when my dress came in and it sat there for a month without my knowing. I wouldn’t recommend using them for alterations either. Janet Kirkman is way cheaper and she is a pro!

After a hunt that seemed almost comically long to find my wedding dress, my Mom suggested that I take a look at Azteca Bridal in downtown Phoenix based on one of many friends' suggestions. Since I was living downtown at the time, I figured it would be convenient (& I had been all over the Valley so why would I not look in my own neighborhood). My Mom and I booked an appt and the search began (like so many had...). Although the service and surrounding ambience leave much to be desired, the dresses were a completely different story. I am petite, to say the least (5'3" and 105 pounds, hey but dynamite comes in small packages, don't judge!) and ALL of the dresses that I tried on fit like a glove. Finally, I had found a location that made me feel like I was not going to walk down the marital aisle in a white plastic grocery bag!! This was a moment, to say the least, and all other negative aspects about the place went out the door. They even kicked in a free veil b/c my husband has been in the service for over 10 years (although I refused, they said it was their typical protocol and they insisted that I take the gift). They called me to let me know that the dress alterations were pushed back 2 days, but I still had my final fitting a week and a half before the big day.

EVERYONE commented on my dress (and still do today) at the wedding saying how amazing the dress looked, it was almost overwhelming actually.

Huge variety of dresses and attentive staff. The prices are great too! I got my wedding dress as well as all the bridesmaid dresses here and had no issues. I would definitely recommend them!

Here's the deal - shopping at Azteca is just *not* like SYTTD on television.

This is about having a huge - almost overwhelming - selection and great prices - this gets offset by having to schlep your own dresses around and fending for yourself a little bit.

I'm okay with it because I'd rather save $$$ than have someone wait on me hand and foot for a couple of hours.

I bought my Allure gown from them as a sample - it was in almost perfect condition and I got it for a steal! Works for me!

The sales people and owners are very attentive. Azteca has everything you could need for your wedding aside from the cake, venue, and flowers. Their prices are great and their dresses are gorgeous and one of a kind. The headpieces and shoes are beautful and they even have a room full of bridesmaid and party dresses for under $100. Great place to go shopping, but be prepared to spend an entire day there ... you wont regret it!

I got an incredible deal on my dress from Azteca. I had amazing service and my dress was absolutely perfect on the day of my wedding. My bridesmaids also got their dresses at Azteca and everyone was happy with their dress. I also found that Azteca has better prices than many other bridal salons and they have dresses in every price range.

I got the most amazing Maggie Sotero dress and because my wedding was coming up so fast they let me buy the one off the rack! I am so grateful for Azteca! Great family owned business!!

We bought the brides gown and 3 other gowns and were so pleased with the prices. They had wonderful sales going on and we got all the dresses for under $425.

The major problem I had with Azteca was how I would get a different answer to every question depending on who I talked to. I asked 3 different people on 3 seperate occassions when my dress would be in and I got 3 different dates. Turns out all 3 of them were wrong! My bridesmaid asked how much a dress cost one day and when we went back she asked again because she forgot and the worker goes "I told you $150 right?" So that made me wonder if the pick their own prices when they look at you. Even though their prices are great it is kind of a hit or miss with them when it comes to everything else.

I found the most gorgeous dress at Azteca. It was there over the weekend for a trunk show and I just happened to go dress shopping. The staff was very helpful and the ladies in the alterations department made sure I was completely happy with the dress before I took it home. I would recommend Azteca to anyone! Thank you!
