I was really sad to find out that they went out of business- and it was so hard to get ahold of anyone about considering getting my money back. I used to shop there all the time- for special occasions, so it was upsetting to find them gone.

We took the classes to learn how to make our own. I am so glad we did that because I made my bouquet humongous! Plus the leftover petals that we had we used for decorations on the tables and cake. My bridesmaid's boquets we just put in vases on the tables as centerpieces too. Such an inexpensive way to use the flowers at the most. I think I paid somewhere around$200 total!

If they had not gone out of business and left me scrambling to find a new florist at the very last minute I would have left better reviews. But they went out of business and I ended up having to find a new supplier- which was a nightmare. My MIL ended up going to several area nurseries and finding plants in my colors for decor and then to a few grocery stores to get the flowers for us to hold. it was the only way we could come close to the price we budgeted for. Especially since Andicott already had a large amount of our money.

Andicott did a beautiful job on our table flowers. They were amazing and very fresh.

Very good price. However, like many other reviewers I was initially very satisfied with them but found that when I went to pick up my flowers they had not gotten the correct flowers and had substitued them without contacting me before hand. They then told me that the flowers they didn't get for me were because the flowers were not at the right season so the colors weren't dark enough yet. But when I sent one of my bridesmaids down the street to D&W she found the exact flowers and purchased them there. Then they gave us a hard time because we didn't want to pay for the bright pink flowers they gave me as a substiture for the maroon ones I had ordered.

Then they called us on our honeymoon multiple times demanding a flower bowl that we had rented saying that we had not returned it, when we had. It took my mother going all the way into grand rapids to get them to stop calling.

I definetly would not reccommend them to anyone. Unless you are looking for a huge deal and are not picky about the color or variety of flowers you get.

Andicott is a unique and fun experience for the bride and her friends. They do both self-service and full service weddings. In short, you can take bouquet and corsage/boutenneire classes, and then save a lot of money making your own flower arrangements. The classes are fun, and give plenty of confidence for the do it yourself approach. I, with my mom, sister, and bridesmaids, made all the bouquets, corsages, boutenneires, and centerpieces. What satisfaction! It was fun to show off our handiwork to the guests at the wedding. Many people were amazed at how well they turned out...

Andicott is no longer in business

We made our own flowers and they helped us set up two classes for my mom and I to take a couple months before the wedding to learn how to make boquets, corsages and boutinere's! It was fun and good quality time with my mom. Two days before the wedding, my aunt, cousin, sisters and mom and I went to make our flowers. We had all day if we wanted and could bring snacks in. They kept our flowers there until the day of. We could rent props and they had all kinds of material there for us to buy. Very good experience!

I am really glad we went through Andicott. Essentially I went in with pictures of what I was looking for and they put together the whole order for us. My maid of honor and I attended a couple of classes through Andicott to get details on putting together bouquets and corsages. A couple days before the wedding we went in, picked everything up, and put everything together. All of our bouquets and arrangements turned out beautifully!

I can't believe how much we saved by choosing Andicott. We had beautiful flowers for a very minimal cost by making our own bouquets.

I did my flowers myself, including all bouquets and centerpieces. I ordered the flowers in bulk through the Andicott on 29th St in Grand Rapids. I was really impressed with their staff and services when I first looked into ordering there. After our first meeting, however, communication became extremely slow and frustrating. I think this company offers a great service but has gotten too big, too quickly, and takes on too many clients each weekend. As a result their quality suffers some.

I had to throw away all of my yellow roses for my own bouquet and buy more at a different floral shop because all of the petals fell off of my flowers before I even got them home to arrange them. No one called to tell me that the lisianthus for my bouquet was held up at customs and I wouldn't be able to have it. It was frustrating to find these things out when I picked up my order, rather than ahead of time so that I could think about what I wanted to do instead.

This is a great deal and their classes are valuable, but do your research and be picky about what you want. Get everything in writing and check quality before you leave the store (unless you are arranging your flowers in the store, which I didn't do). If you question the quality of anything, ask before you leave.

We arranged our own boquets for much cheaper than having someone do it for us. They were very helpful in showing us how to do it.

My bridesmaids and I went to Andicott to arrange our own flowers a couple days before the wedding. They also rent out things like unity candles stands and vases. They were very helpful and had beautiful flowers.
