Are there any special characteristics about this venue such as scenery or architecture?
The backdrop to any event at Yarrow is our 300 acres of graceful forests, and sprawling greens, perfect for those precious photos you'll cherish long after your special day. Our American Gothic Style Lodge is exquisite with fieldstone fireplaces and phenomenal views. Cinnamon Wood Deck is a wonderful spot for an outdoor wedding ceremony or dancing, and with Dogwood Reception Hall only steps away it is the perfect location for your wedding day.
Do you offer any special packages for rehearsal dinners?
We have several ideal locations to rent for rehearsal dinner. The most popular, our Redbud recreation area, offers lots to do with a volleyball net, horseshoe pit, and an area for a campfire.
Do you offer additional items for the ceremony?
At no additional fee we offer folding white chairs, an arch, and two pedestals to be use on our Cinnamon Wood Deck for a ceremony. Also provided is a table for a unity candle or sand ceremony. You are welcome to have a florist or decorator come in to further beautify the deck area.
Do you rent other items such as linens, tables, or flatware?
Included in the rental of Dogwood Hall is tables, chairs, white linens (colored linens available at a small additional fee), china, flatware, and our silver or gold hurricane lamps with centerpiece mirrors.
Can the client provide their own alcohol if desired?
No, all alcoholic beverages must be purchased through us.
How many power outlets does the venue have?
Our banquet hall too many outlets to count and our deck where the ceremony takes place also has outlets surrounding it.
What restrictions (if any) on decorations?
No fresh flowers can be placed directly on the linens. We do not allow staples, nails, or tape on the walls and no glitter or confetti. Candles must be encased in glass and the flame must be lower then the top of the container.
What restrictions (if any) on photography?
None, we do ask that photographers be respectful of any golfers who may be on the golf course or any other events that maybe going that day.

Both DJ's and Bands are allow, but no pyrotechnics may be used.
