Beautiful place and they treated me like a queen!! Super pleased with our choice of out venue!!

Windmill Island was a beautiful place to have our wedding ceremony and reception! Alisa did an amazing job helping us plan for the event, and her team executed everything perfectly. It was really nice to have things such as set up and tear down included, and to have 2 event coordinators on site during our reception.

Beautiful place to get married

Such a beautiful venue! We receive so many compliments from our guests about our wedding location. We had our ceremony and reception here. We felt the location was a great value.

We had such a great experience using Windmill Island for our wedding venue! Aside from the beautiful scenery that is offered at Windmill Island, everything about it was perfect. The coordinator that worked with us, Alisa, was such a nice person to work with and was so helpful. The only issue we had was contacting her to set up a final meeting time because she was so busy at the beginning of their season. But everything worked out just fine! They have the most beautfil ceremony set up and the permanent tent structure they have for receptions is so perfect for an outdoor wedding! I couldnt have imagined having our ceremony and reception anywhere else!

Windmill Island is a great location and I highly recommend it for a reception venue.
You do have to work with their timeline since they are a public park.
One thing that could be improved is Windmill's recommendation for space heaters. Our night was cold and the recommended heaters were essentially useless.
