Record Box Loft is a wedding venue located on the riverfront in downtown Battle Creek. Our original hardwood floors, exposed brick and open floorpan flooded with natural light gives our space an urban, industrial vibe that’s perfect for any party. After a complete restoration of this historic building, built in 1902, we rebranded as Record Box Loft to pay homage to its roots. Once known as the Record Printing and Box Company, cereal boxes were printed here for many years in the cereal capital of the world.

Record Box Loft accommodates small groups of 25 up to large gatherings of 225 guests. Many onsite amenities are provided including onsite preparation rooms, tables, industrial chairs, a second floor lounge, and an onsite catering kitchen and bar area for vendor's use.

Our team has deep experience in West Michigan’s wedding industry and we are proud to also include the the following services for our wedding clients: 1) Design: We will meet with you to develop a custom floor plan for your event and would also be happy to schedule a meeting to assist with linen and tablescape options, 2) Event Setup: Setup tables and chairs and assist with placing and hanging your personal decor, 3) Tear it Down: When your party is over, our staff will assist with taking down and packaging all decor, 4) Month and Day of Coordination: We’ll help plan your full timeline and coordinate the details with your vendors the week of your event. Our team will manage your event including ceremony, entrance, toasts and sendoff and will work closely with your vendors to ensure everything runs smoothly.

We are located in southwest Michigan, approximately halfway between Chicago and Detroit and conveniently close to our surrounding communities including Kalamazoo, Jackson, Lansing and Grand Rapids.
