At Ultimate Fake Cakes we provide pre-made wedding and specialty cakes to fit all of your needs.

A fake cake is a cake made of styrofoam and decorated with either Perma Icing or Fondant
frosting. Fake cakes can be made in various shapes and sizes to suit your needs. We offer a
variety of styles to choose from and can also create unique designs.

Our goal is to cut your cake budget in half. For example, consider a wedding reception
for 150 people: 150 people x $3.50 per slice of decorated bakery cake = $525. A decorated
fake cake of the same size starts as low as $110 and remains a beautiful centerpiece
throughout the entire evening.

Do you offer private tastings or open house tastings? We are sorry, unfortunately we find foam doesn't taste that great and are afraid if we offered tastings we wouldn't get alot of business.

Describe how you price, such as by slice or by tier, for your cakes? Our cakes are priced by the tier. We have a set rate of 50.00 per tier. A 3 tier sells for 150.00, 4-tier for 200.00 and 5/6 tier for 250.00. Any decorating on the cake is included in that 50.00/tier price.

Do you offer custom cakes, or do you work with pre-designed styles? We offer either custom or pre-designed cakes. We encourage our brides to find that perfect cake and then bring it to us. We will recreate it for half the price!

On average, how far in advance of the wedding day do you prepare the cake? Our cakes can be made up to 6 weeks ahead of time. This allows it plenty of time for drying. Once we have bubble wrapped it and boxed it tightly it can be shipped to you nationwide.

On average, how many wedding cakes do you do for a weekend? We can do several as we are sending the cakes directly to the brides/brides family.

Will you work with the bride's florist to garnish the cake? We will work with any florist and fully appreciate the addition of fresh flowers to any cake!

Do you offer delivery? If yes, how much is your average delivery fee? We do deliver within 50 miles of Howell, Michigan or can ship our cakes to your door. Our delivery fee is 35.00. We put the cakes together with foam, fondant, and Permaicing. Once the cake is dry, it hardens like cement and can be shipped from our door to yours.
