Working with Sarah Jane was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding in August 2022. My husband and I are not big picture-takers--we never remember to take photos or ask for photos, and we're generally pretty awkward at posing. Sarah made us feel comfortable from the very first phone call, and when we met her for our engagement shoot in Portland, she put us right at ease, made us laugh, and helped us feel as little awkwardness as possible!

On our wedding day, she was somehow everywhere and nowhere all at once - I never heard the click of her camera, but she captured every amazing moment we would have wanted, and she was at the ready anytime a group wanted a photo. We received a ton of compliments on Sarah's fun and friendly demeanor from our wedding guests as well.
We both feel so lucky to have worked with Sarah, and she'll be our first call for any future family photos!!

I could not recommend Sarah enough after hiring her for our wedding at the Samoset in July 2021. We had a minor crisis when our original photographer canceled on us 6 weeks before our wedding day. We found Sarah and fate was on our side as our wedding was her last summer weekend available. After chatting with her, I felt instantly at ease after my bridal breakdown and couldn’t wait to meet her in person. She was communicative leading up to wedding day and let me know what to expect. Wedding day arrived and Sarah showed up immediately doing her thing, taking candid shots of us getting ready and capturing fun and beautiful images of my bridal party and parents. She brought me down to my first look with my husband and I was able to get to know her a little better. She is sooo sweet, fun, laid back but always on her A game. We trusted her throughout the process of family photos and post ceremony portraits and we ended up with absolutely stunning photos of the entire day. She is insanely talented but more importantly, she has such an incredible manner that relaxed us in order to get some stunning and fun shots. I never thought id be grateful for a pre wedding disaster but it led us to find Sarah and we are so happy! 10/10 recommend!!!

I truly can't express my gratitude enough for Sarah. Sarah was our photographer for our engagement photos and our wedding 9/9/17. She is so fun, professional, personable, and makes you feel so comfortable (this was our first ever experience with a photographer!) She truly helped me problem solve with the logistics of our wedding day, and answered every little question I had. She asked many thorough questions to get to know our families ahead of time, so our wedding day photos were truly a breeze. We added a second shooter in the last month or so of planning, and she effortlessly found someone to work with her to capture our ceremony. Photos were one of the most important aspects of our wedding planning, and I cherish our photos so much. I feel so grateful that we found Sarah and I would recommend her over and over!

The photos are absolutely stunning and I still can't get over how in love I am with them, and the detail you were able to capture. It allowed us to relive much of what was an absolute blur that day - from the touching moments during the ceremony, the hotel shots and then of our guests and the venue, we couldn't be more pleased with the final product.
Outside of the photos, you were just as amazing to work with. You truly helped set my nerves at ease during the chaos that was our morning leading up to the ceremony. I cannot thank you enough for just being YOU and being so relaxed and yet incredibly professional throughout the entire day.

Sarah was the best choice that we could have made for our photographer! She was receptive, communicative and understanding of all of the moving pieces that come with wedding planning. And the pictures! As a member of the wedding party said: "Oh my god, your wedding pictures... They are, I can't even, wow!" That about sums it up!

Sarah photographed our wedding in Vassalboro back in July, and we cant express enough how grateful we are for the beautiful memories that she captured on that day. Neither of us had worked much with professional photographers before, so we weren't sure exactly what to expect. When the wedding day came, Sarah was both a friend and a professional for us. She got the pictures that we needed quickly and efficiently, and, somehow, she seemed to be everywhere at once without being at all obtrusive. Many of our friends and family were able to meet her, so she was both apart of our wedding fun, and simultaneously capturing it all on film. The quality of the pictures that she took is stunning. I was initially hesitant to bother with a photographer, but now I'm very much grateful for the memories we have on film. We're looking forward to having Sarah come back up to photograph our family for other events down the road.
