Russ and Liz were the obvious choice from the first time we spoke. They are incredibly easy to work with, communicative, genuine and all around wonderful. I am so grateful to have captured the love that we felt on our special day through their lens. My favorite part of the day was the first look and the decision to do this was influenced by their expertise and recommendations. Beyond the beautiful, quality photos we now have, I am most grateful for the calmness I felt working with them during what can be a chaotic sequence of events that is a wedding! As you put together your vendors during planning, it’s hard to comprehend how much of an influence it will have - I can tell you, it makes a difference and you cannot go wrong with these two!

Overall: Russ and Liz went ABOVE AND BEYOND some very difficult situations with us (scheduling from a distance, COVID 19 reschedule, and then the wedding got rained out)... they were amazing the whole time:

From the outset, Russ was an absolute professional. We were planning from a distance and he offered to meet with me through FaceTime (this was Pre-Covid.). I LOVED his photos online and also his offer to take us through Acadia National Park to all the really great photo spots that he and Liz know. Well.. then COVID happened. Russ was an amazing communicator and we heard from him way before we heard from any other vendor (and some we didn't hear from at all until we reached out). He had a plan in place. We were forced to reschedule and he was amazingly flexibly and didn't charge us any change fees (I'm from NJ and a lot of people were charged here to change their dates due to covid.. we got very lucky).

Anyway fast-forward to a lot of flexibility and planning with him, he proposed a really nice schedule but was open to changes and was very easy to work with.

He and Liz drove up the day before and came to our rehearsal (not guaranteed he was able to do this but it was lucky they didn't have anything the day before). It looked like it was going to rain out so he took our entire bridal party through where to stand and pose for the best light both indoors and outdoors. The next day: it POURED. We still managed to get two of the spots photographed in Acadia, but the ceremony had to be inside. He was fantastic the entire time. Great attitude and just so helpful and supportive. So was Liz!

Here is the most amazing part: since we would be driving through their town on our way back to NJ (about 2 hours south) they offered to take MORE PHOTOS on the coast in a very beautiful spot near their home. They photos turned out amazing (including that drone shot we couldn't do because of the rain) and we got to put all our stuff back on.

The photos turned out great! Everything was very timely and he has remained very quick to respond in all our communications after the wedding.

You would be crazy NOT to hire him!!!

Get your wedding pictures done with russell Caron photography! Russ and Liz both become your friends. Liz did our shoot and made it so fun and relaxing. At first I was sad Russell couldn’t join us but Liz was sensational. Her eye for her shots are stunning. She always smiles and is in the moment just like you are. They put together a GORGEOUS wedding album for us and even when I though I was being picky Russ would always respond I want it perfect for you and I know he spent a lot of time! ( even moving pictures on the fold). I truly know you will not gain anything but trust and a friend. We live in Massachusetts (south of Boston) and I found them through online and I’m grateful. We did a first look and Liz walked us through everything. I promise you’ll be happy! Such kind people! That’s what people need and want especially planning a wedding away!

Russ and Liz were the best! So professional, honest, and their work is extraordinary! From the moment we met them, we felt so comfortable with them. Pictures were one of the most important parts of my day and I am so thankful we went with Russ and Liz to capture everything. They are the best!!

Russ and Liz are true professionals and we are so grateful to them for all they did to make our wedding day perfect!!! They are kind, extremely organized, and made us feel comfortable from the first time we worked with them at our engagement photo shoot. On the actual wedding day they helped us stick to our timeline and also took us to a few offsite locations which was a great way to have some alone time! The first look was by far one of our favorite parts of the wedding day and Russ & Liz captured every moment of it while still making us feel like it was just us two. They came to our rehearsal the night before which was truly above & beyond and helped us find the perfect place to put a video camera for my Grandma who could not attend the wedding. This really meant so much to us!

We can not thank them enough for giving us the most beautiful wedding photos that we'll cherish forever. Their photos are so "in the moment" that when we look at them it takes us right back to that moment in time on our special day. 5 stars is not enough for Russ & Liz!! We had an absolutely fantastic time working with them both throughout our wedding planning process and day-of. They really went above and beyond from day 1, with Russ recommending many other vendors for us – this knowledge was particularly helpful for us as out-of-towners! They are extremely organized and professional (not to mention some of the nicest people we've met!), constantly checking in and updating us throughout the process – their extremely detailed timeline kept us right on track our entire day and kept things running smoothly. Pro tip – highly recommend the first look and artistic set they suggest!! They even popped over to our ceremony rehearsal the day before our wedding to greet us and share a few helpful tips!! And to top it all off, our pictures are BEAUTIFUL – we are obsessed with them and so happy to have such an amazing way to remember our day!! They truly captured the love, laughter and fun of our day and we can’t thank them enough – we will cherish these memories for years to come. We have received SO many compliments from friends and family on how gorgeous our pictures turned out. Not to mention, we received our blog post of pictures just DAYS after the wedding which was such a nice treat for us as we were relaxing on a mini getaway! I wish I had more events for them to photograph but until then, can’t recommend Russ & Liz enough – they are worth every penny and more!

We had a fantastic time with Russ and Liz at our wedding! Prior to our wedding Russ was extremely responsive and provided great suggestions around how to prepare for the day which proved to be super helpful as the day of our wedding flew by! Russ and Liz also made the effort to come to the rehearsal at the venue to scope the place out before the big day. Additionally they went around the town to see what locations would be the best backdrops for photos. The day of Russ and Liz made us feel comfortable being photographed for our first look and we had a blast doing the drone shots too! During the wedding they were flies on the wall, as we were enjoying our day they were documenting away. The initial photos came out amazing! They truly captured the day - the love, the beautiful scenery and the happiness we were surrounded by. A big thanks to Russ and Liz - we are so happy you were part of our day and can't wait to see the rest of the photos, we are confident these will be forever cherished! Thank you!

Where do I even begin?! Russ and Liz were one of the best decisions we made in the wedding planning process. They made our engagement shoot so fun and we could not wait to see them again at our wedding. At our wedding we felt like they were more so our friends than our photographers. Not only are our photos beyond beautiful, they got them to us SO fast! We had our full gallery only a few weeks after the wedding. Just a day or two after our wedding they created the most beautiful black and white slide show that we still watch every day and have received endless compliments on. Do yourself a favor and book these amazing photographers!!!

Russell is a top-notch professional. I originally picked him for the quality of the photos I found of his online, but the deal was sealed for me when I learned now organized he is. He presented a detailed plan for how the day could go, and was flexible when things came up. He ended up being my buddy for the day; he and Liz are delightful people. He is a non-intrusive photographer, once the ceremony and reception got going I barely noticed them around. In the end, we received excellent, high-quality photos. You get what you pay for with Russ.
