Patty was AMAZING!! From the start, she was so easy to work with and a great communicator. For people who had never done professional photos before, she made us feel very comfortable and natural. The moments and photos of family and friends she captured were so real and beautiful, it made it truly feel like us!! Patty arrived early the day of the wedding and fit right in with our crew! She was a professional at navigating the potential rain on our wedding day and timing to get all of the photos. Highly recommend!

Patty was truly amazing from start to finish. She went above and beyond throughout the entire wedding process-- She even offered to come to our joint bachelorette party to take pictures. Everyone at the wedding thought that she was phenomenal and very personable. The pictures are gorgeous and really reflective of who my wife and I are as a couple.

We just got our gallery of photos this week and I'm reliving all the special moments over and over again, as well as getting to see some special moments that I didn't get to firsthand experience which is exciting. Patty was an excellent photographer that we would highly recommend. She is polite, professional, no-nonsense, and will make sure that you get every photo you want at your big day. We weren't able to meet before the day due to our being located so far away, but she touched base frequently to check in on progress and planning, get to know each other before we spent the actual day together, and ask for our insight on what was most important to us day of so she could be sure to get those images. She was also helpful in making recommendations regarding sequencing of photo events to ensure the best amount of photo time and time enjoying our event. Seperately, Patty suggested some great other vendors based on her experience at other weddings, which was so helpful. We highly recommend Patty / Kivalo!

When selecting a photographer I wanted to make sure they would be a good personality to have around while I was stressed/managing a lot of personalities. Patty was the PERFECT selection. She arrived during breakfast just to scope out all the best spots to take pictures. Then she hung around to exercise her magical moment capturing ninja skills. She got to know us via social media and various surveys she sent before the wedding in order to make sure she knew what would be important to us on our big day. She captured everything I could have wanted and more. Everyone from the bridal party, to my family, to guests on the dance floor LOVED her style and the way she coordinated people. We have had a few hang sessions just flipping through the pictures she took reliving the entire weekend. She was fabulous from start to finish.

I booked Kivalo Photography because Patty had done my brother's wedding a few years prior, and I had loved her work. (In fact I said, "someday when I get married, I want a photographer to make me look this good on my wedding day!"). It was the best choice ever - Patty is fun and thoughtful and creative, and just a pleasure to work with.
She gave us this amazing magazine about what to expect from wedding photography (I have never done this before, so "here's what I do for rain, here's what I worry about and not you, here's what you can think about and plan for" was SO helpful). Then, the day of, she came early and got all the details shots and scouted out photo locations on the property that I never even knew were there. Throughout the staged shots and ceremony, Patty rolled with our challenges (we are goofy and we talk a lot; we made a last-minute decision to move our October ceremony outside, literally as I was putting my dress on). You don't realize how much time you spend with your photographer on your wedding day, but they are there ALL DAY, and Patty was smart and professional but also just so fun to be around, it was like having another friend supporting us who just happened to also be making us look good in pictures. She also got ALL the shots - my husband kissing my hand as we waited to be announced at the reception, my flowergirl kissing the ring bearer's cheek after he tripped during bridal party shots, my ailing father kissing me on the forehead on the dancefloor. Our photos are amazing, it looks like something out of a magazine, I almost can't believe it was really our wedding, and Patty is 100% to credit for that :-) (Also, she had our shots back to us in just under two weeks, which I hear is exceptional turnaround time!) Can't recommend her enough!

Patty photographed our October 2018 wedding and I highly recommend her. When my fiance and I decided we wanted to get married in the fall in New England, we knew we had to act quickly to book a photographer -- it was the second vendor we booked after only the venue. In looking for a photographer, I was drawn to Patty's romantic and timeless style. Her photos are more than just images, they tell the story of the emotions felt in the moment that they were captured. We booked Patty about ten months in advance and throughout the time leading up to our wedding she sent periodic messages to check in, which were helpful to make sure we were on track and prepared for the big day. On the day of, we didn't have a coordinator and I can't say how helpful she was in corralling everyone. We had a decent sized bridal party (ten all together) and Patty was so quick and efficient with all the portraits. Again, we had a limited window for family portraits following our ceremony in our Church and she made it work. When I mentioned a trail in the middle of the woods that might be a nice spot for photos, Patty was all in. She was extremely professional and had our gallery prepared within a week of of shooting our wedding. We're so grateful for the beautiful images that she captured, we will cherish them forever. If you want stunning, artistic, photos that capture every feeling that you have on your wedding day, then Patricia is definitely the photographer that you you need to hire! From planning, to payment, to managing everyone on the actual wedding day, she is extremely organized and has a process in place for everything. Patricia, and her team, are top notch and you will absolutely love how efficient they are on your wedding day. I wanted to get through formal portraits fairly quickly as I valued the candid shots more and I couldn't be happier with the photos we ended up with, both formal and candid AND we still had time to attend part of our cocktail hour without doing a First Look. I was told that wasn't possible, but I knew that she would make it happen! I still can't stop going through our wedding photos, and I love all of them! The beauty and emotion captured in them, takes me right back to our wedding day. Working with Patricia has been such a joy, I have no doubt that we will continue using her for family photos!

If I had a dollar for every person that has come up to me after the wedding to tell me how great our photographer was, we could have an hour longer of open bar.

Seriously, from the first phone call to the delivery of photos, Patricia was nothing short of incredible. She gave great customer service up front, had wonderful and engaging surveys along the way that made us feel like she had a real idea of who we were as a couple and what our vision was. On the day itself she was organized, professional, and kicked butt. My new husband had a rowdy group of groomsmen and she handled them with ease. I can't believe how reasonable her price was given all the time, effort, and skill she gave us. You'd be crazy to look anywhere else.

As MOB I could not have been more pleased with Patty/Kivalo Photography. She was professional, organized, and went above and beyond to make our family's day stress free from beginning to end. Corralling a wedding part of 21 is no easy feat but Patty did it with a swiftness and humor. The pics were delivered quickly and are beautiful. I highly recommend this photographer.
