Sandra and Jonah are an experienced photography team based in New York. They have been together since 2005 and find joy in helping other couples capture the love that they share.

Sandra, a highly experienced international photographer, has photographed weddings and portraits in the United States and Europe. Sandra’s natural ability to make people feel comfortable, her easy-going approach and strong communication skills result in spectacular images that are fun, creative and glamorous. Growing up in Ireland, Sandra became adept at utilizing available light and the beauty of the natural landscape in her photography. Her vision and versatility under all lighting and weather conditions, as well as a natural eye for capturing the decisive moments, set her apart.  Over the years, Sandra’s photographic style has evolved into “reality with creativity”; incorporating the best from photojournalism and classical portraiture. This “prompted reality” or “photojournalism with guidance” ensures that every tender moment, every stolen kiss, or your baby’s first steps are preserved.        

Jonah, a Bay Area native, quickly fell for Sandra’s wit, charm and beauty. They feed off each other’s strengths and passions to create a distinctive style. Their love of travel has given them an eye for uniqueness and a passion for life. With a business background, Jonah plays an integral role in the marketing, financial, and creative decisions behind Sandra Reid Photography. Jonah spends as much time as possible behind the camera and shares Sandra’s passion for composition and lighting.

Sandra and Jonah love getting to know their clients and hearing the stories that brought them together. By limiting their bookings to twenty weddings each year, they are able to provide a higher level of service to each couple and capture each unique wedding with boundless creativity and a fresh perspective.
